I had a bad experience with him during the pandemic. Pre-vaccines, I asked if he would wear a mask. He said he would. When I got to his apartment he wasn't wearing a mask and said he'd just open the window. When I said I wasn't comfortable with that he became hostile and started berating me--I was half undressed at that point. I told him he agreed to it before i came over. That made him angrier so I left. It was the only time I've ever felt unsafe with a provider. FYI

I did 120 minutes. Figured I might not be back in Japan for a long while so I would splurge especially with the no tipping culture and the currency exchange rate being so favorable right now. It was slightly longer was with the testicular stretch add-on, did a 100 min plus the 40 minute add on just to see what it was like, but it didn't feel very sensual to me.
Do upgrade to energy up or body reset!! I had tried both and they are both very very enjoyable. I imagine the regular massage is just a HJ at the end and you can do anywhere else.

If you don't mind, can you PM me details about your experience with Kento? My fomo/regret was not trying out the outcall or the BJ to staff options. With the incall, there usually was another room in the place and another masseur with a client in the other room so I don't know if that affects their behavior. There is a lot of hate for Grandee on this forum… so while I acknowledge the risk of getting a pie thrown at me, I had a pretty good experience today (not amazing, but good.) Good enough though that I plan to repeat and will have it on my list whenever I’m in NYC. I’ve had awful experiences at Energy, so I understand why people get upset if someone else recommends a place where they’ve had a terrible experience. But I wanted to share my experience in case someone like me finds it valuable.
Here’s what was good about my experience at Grandee today:
- Good communication via text when I wanted to book, including helping me find a masseur that’s to my liking
- Super cute, friendly, communicative mid-twentys, very fit Asian masseur (if you like younger Asian guys, this might be the place for you)
- No hassling for tips or discussion about tips during the session
- Full 60 minute massage, no time shorting
Here’s what was bad:
- Massage was just ok, I would say technique was 5/10. But all things considered my experience was 7/10, maybe even a bit higher.
-Facilities are old and while it’s not the cleanest,  it’s not terrible either. Much cleaner than Energy IMO, I didn’t feel gross. Frankly I have been in many massage parlors in other cities that are much worse.
That’s the end of my rant. But if you like a decent massage and (like me) want the attention of a younger, attractive Asian guy then you will probably enjoy yourself. For those that don’t find that exciting, don’t come after me. ☺️

It's basically a way for independent masseurs to advertise their availability to a wider audience. That said, YMMV from one experience to another. You communicate directly with the masseur(s). Start off by translating your emails into Japanese before sending them. If they speak English, they can respond accordingly, but I think it's a nice touch, if not respectful considering you are (will be) in their country. Book a few days in advance if possible, or at least a day in advance. I probably tried a couple of guys before having success, but that's normal even in my home city. I met both of the guys I hired at my hotel. It was very convenient and saved me from having to travel. Either way, they charge a fee - a travel fee for them to come to you or a fee to use their room. If you are not comfortable finding your way around in Japan, hosting in your room is probably a better choice. The Japanese address is very different than western address system. Google Maps is pretty good but even that isn't perfect in Japan. lol

I checked G Man out today. Did body scrub + massage. I had solid experience with Eason, a very fit late 20s Asian guy. Very nice and cute. They had a white guy late 30s with tattoos and a mid 20s Latino guy there as well. Facilities are newer and pretty decent.

I asked Alven for a strong massage once and only once. He strong massages are too strong for me. However, his medium pressure massages are more in line with what I look for in a strong massage. Once I figured that out, I was in heaven. I'm sorry you had a bad experience and I'm not sure what happened with the tip situation. I'm surprised to hear that he said something on a $40 tip (I'm assuming that was for an hour massage at the $60 rate? If so, $40 is not a horrible tip worth saying something IMO.)

so, i went and, although not a *bad* experience, i wouldn’t go back.  he advertises a thai massage, but aside from about 2 mins of stretching, it was just a lukewarm table massage.
