That said, YMMV from one experience to another. For example, I hired one guy who gave a very light massage and was otherwise just a "cuddle buddy" and the session ended with a HE. The second guy gave a great massage and we ended up having sex. I wouldn't necessarily expect sex each time though. The one thing that is pretty consistent is the massage is given with both parties nude and you will start off by taking a shower together. Payment is handled at the beginning of the session. Some of the masseurs speak English (various levels). If they speak English, they can respond accordingly, but I think it's a nice touch, if not respectful considering you are (will be) in their country. Book a few days in advance if possible, or at least a day in advance. I probably tried a couple of guys before having success, but that's normal even in my home city. I met both of the guys I hired at my hotel. It was very convenient and saved me from having to travel. Either way, they charge a fee - a travel fee for them to come to you or a fee to use their room. If you are not comfortable finding your way around in Japan, hosting in your room is probably a better choice. The Japanese address is very different than western address system. They will sometimes call you with an english speaking manager just to answer questions/make sure you're serious and understand the process. It's always pay up front but I've NEVER had anyone do a less than full job even though the pay was up front. And yeah the Japan gay scene is pretty segmented, if you search for like gay massage tokyo or gay escort tokyo you'll find sites specializing in skinny/boy-ish types, but the more popular thing tends to be masculine/muscle/bear types.
