  1. The two Kansas Cities are separate legal entities governed by their respective states. They may have intercity/interstate coordinating boards, which help with reginal concerns like transportation, but the cities themselves are still legally separate. I'm pretty sure there are no US cities with a single government that straddle a state border. Generally, in the US, interstate coordination is often governed by compacts between the related states (like the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey). Washington DC could have been considered an exception, but it really was a district carved out of Maryland and Virginia and set up as it's own area administered by Congress. Later the Virgina portion was ceded back as Arlington county. Today, the Washington Metropolitan area requires coordination with two state governments, the City of Washington DC, and the federal government which governs the District, which may be the most complex intersection of government entities I can think of in the US. There are many US cities that cross county boundaries. Atlanta is one, which is primarily in Fulton county but a portion crosses into Dekalb county to the east. In some states it's more common than in others. The main difference is that certain things like property taxes and jury duty are under the county jurisdiction, but the city provides most services. Each state treats cities a little differently, though there's some regional patterns based on when the states were settled and organized (the Midwest in particular, was shaped by the Northwest Ordinance). All of which is only fascinating if you're boring like me...
  2. The city and county of Philadelphia have been consolidated since 1854, any other subdivisions (townships cities, etc) that existed before the consolidation were aggregated into combined government. It's effectively one entity as far as the State is concerned, but there are probably some obscure differentiations for certain officials based on the state constitution or law governing county or city governments.
  3. He's been on RM for a while, but his profile only has a couple basic photos and he's only got one review. Unless there's something about him that particularly turns your crank, you'd probably find similar guys in that area who'd make it easier for you to pull the trigger with them.
  4. If contacting by text, I keep the opening message pretty simple, for example "Hi, I saw your ad on <site>, are you available on <date(s)> in the <afternoon/evening>?" And wait for a response first. I never send multiple messages in a row because I hate my phone blowing up with a bunch of notifications out of the blue and I figure a lot of guys do, too. Depending how they respond, I'll follow up with at most 2 messages at a time with follow up questions (place, time, rate).
  5. I think maybe the OP meant the provider was threatening to file a report against the OP with a professional organization to which the OP might belong (i.e. of the provider knew the OP was a lawyer he'd threaten making a report to the bar association). It's definitely scammy behavior and may even cross the line into blackmail depending how the threat was stated. All the more reason to cut off any contact with the provider.
  6. Love natural moaning during sex, but I'm not as verbal. I'm more of a moaner myself, but I used to have a play buddy who wanted me to be more verbal with made me a bit self conscious sometimes since I thought I sounded like a bad porn script. Love being with a guy who can pull it off, though.
  7. No 411, but he's caught my eye too.
  8. I've never arranged a meet with two escorts that advertised separately, but I have hired with guys that advertised together. I think if they work regularly or even exclusively as a couple, they already have their own chemistry together and work their clients in a bit more naturally. Several years ago I met a latin couple in Orlando that worked together. They were both spectacular, they would each work in sync and switch things around almost naturally. It was one of the best hiring experiences I ever had. It's too bad they're no longer working. There's a couple others that I've met from time to time that were a lot of fun, too. I did have a disappointing session last year with a travelling couple, it just was awkward with , but it seems that one guy does the advertising and rotates a travelling buddy for the trip.
  9. In the Hartsfield Atrium.
  10. I think it depends on the nature of the meeting, and if you know him well enough. I'd avoid having drinks from opened containers, honestly, but an unopened bottle of wine may be a nice way to start the date. I probably wouldn't give a plant, though.
  11. Discuss how payment will be exchanged before you meet (cash, payment app, etc) Hygiene (unless otherwise discussed, shower, brush teeth, etc) If you are going to bottom, be prepared accordingly to minimize unpleasant surprises. If you might go to dinner or other outside activities, discuss beforehand so he can also have appropriate clothes ready, etc.
  12. I keep wondering if he's referencing He-man...and if I'd get BattleCat's alter ego Cringer instead. But yeah, he's hot.
  13. If I said I really was the mustachioed, blue haired, galactic mermaid drag princess in my avatar that sings the official anthem of 2020 AD, would you believe me?
  14. At least he dressed it properly, ketchup would have been a bridge too far. Would going full Chicago be too kinky?
  15. That picture of him with the harness makes him look like one of those Billy dolls that they used to sell.
  16. I've seen his ad in San Francisco for a long time but never seen any reviews on Daddys or here. Has anyone met him? https://rent.men/musclejay
  17. Not sure how it would be useful. It's a hookup app and proximity based, you can't create external links to profiles, and people sign up and delete profiles frequently. The only thing that seems close was a reddit board where people posted screenshots of particularly racist or obnoxious profiles, but you'd never be able to take that info and easily find the person.
  18. Looks like it according to their facebook page. Given the current state of things in Georgia, I can't imagine them reopening this month at least.
  19. I agree with your sentiment. I don't doubt most of the companies working towards a vaccine are doing their best to produce a safe and effective one, but if Trump starts shilling it like he did hydroxychloroquine I'd have a hard time trusting anything published about the test results.
  20. It's unfortunate that the OP's thread has been occupied, colonized actually, since page 2 by a white guy who just had to make it all about him and his feels. I hope the OP got at least something useful out of it.
  21. I've seen several reports about the Delta flight, and they weren't clear if the flight got off the ground or if it just returned to the gate before takeoff. I hope Delta goes after these two for the cost of going back either way. The other good thing Delta is doing is making those passengers who want to claim a medical exemption from wearing a mask to arrive at hour early for an assessment or reconsider flying at all. None of this fake exemption card BS. I'll happily fly Delta for setting a clear policy and sticking to it.
  22. 5) "Here's to five miserable months on the wagon, and all the irreparable harm it has caused me"...due to the pandemic. 6) "Wendy? Darling? Light, of my life. I'm not gonna hurt ya. You didn't let me finish my sentence. I said, I'm not gonna hurt ya. I'm just going to bash your brains in" ... due to the pandemic. 7) "Excuse me while I whip this out" .. due to the pandemic.
  23. I met a couple several years ago for a hookup. They seemed friendly enough and they each sent me a facebook request, and hoooooly shit one of the guys was a complete jerk online, super conservative and aggressive with his opinions. This was way before Trump, but if he were alive now he'd be hard in on the Trump thing. Unfortunately, he also ran through my profile and sent friend requests to a bunch of my friends, and even started posting comments on their posts. I had a few awkward questions from a few friends about how I knew the guy, and I told them I'd met them at a social function and accepted a friend request to be 'polite'. I had unfriended them quietly after that incident and suggested my friends asking about it do the same. Needless to say there was never a second hookup. I locked down my account after that so my friends can't go through my contacts. His surviving husband send me a friend request some months back and I've ignored it. He wasn't nearly as caustic online but occasionally let some things show, and I don't need that kind of crazy. I'm acquaintances with another couple in NY were one is obnoxiously republican online and his husband is equally obnoxiously democrat. I've had to mute both because of the noise they generate constantly on my feed. I occasionally wonder what their home dynamic must be like, since I know the liberal partner is a dom top, but I'd probably be scarred for life if I went down that rabbit hole.
  24. I think I've only been asked for my stats once, and I was upfront about them. He said wanted to avoid any surprises that would make the session unnecessarily difficult. It turned out to be a fun encounter, which led to a few repeats and a trip together before he moved back to his home country.
  25. Not an escort here, but a couple of guys I've hired in the past have told me about some of their misadventures (never disclosing anything to identify the clients)...The stories may have been embellished, but seemed like they'd be probable things that might happen to an escort. One told me about a pretty scary situation where he had someone set up an outcall meeting, where he shows up and a woman answers the door with kids in the house behind her. The person who setup the meeting said he wanted an 'open door scene', but he had the good sense to ring the bell on arriving instead of trying the door. Apparently someone had some dispute with her husband, and had arranged for various people including escorts, people seeking drugs, fake craigslist ads, etc to show at their house to harass them. He said the woman was very matter of fact about the situation and told him he'd been set up, it sounded like an ongoing situation, so he promptly excused himself and left. Another was hired by a guy who lived with an animal hoarder who got very upset when he refused to enter the house.
