  1. Again, let’s not take something out of context and turn it into a new discussion about immigration. You can make a new thread if you wish, but considering it’s political it might be closed 🙂 By cheap, I don’t mean Indians themselves (I have had a few such clients myself). I refer to it as it relates to the HOTEL industry. And yes, most times I deal with Indian front desk clerks, they always come off wanting to give me the least they can during my stay. For example I stayed at one hotel in a small historic town that had cheese omelets 🍳 made fresh. Great right? But it was ONLY cheese omelets, nothing else. When I asked if there was an additional topping I could add, the Indian guy was like, “this is econo lodge, not Hampton inn” 😮 Like geez… Its that type of attitude, I refer to.
  2. And here’s another thing I found about the hotel chain I book thru: they say on here we can request 2 extra hours late checkout as Diamond member. When I stayed in Memphis last week for one night, their checkout time was 11 a.m. and I even asked the night before AND the morning of for a later checkout…he only wanted to give me 11:30 a.m. 🤦🏾‍♂️ I had just barely squeezed in time to do laundry the night before, so I have clothes unpacked or set out to finish drying. That’s what I’m saying, many of these hotels don’t honor the loyalty programs perks. They’re run by cheap Indians with bad customer service (not intending to be racist but, it’s often encountered). Then they want us to be up at 9 a.m. for some lousy breakfast that wasn’t even worth waking up for in the first place.
  3. Well you should have said THEIR operating model doesn’t work for mine. The way you originally said, put mine down in favor of theirs. That’s what it sounded like. You’re saying it differently now but, that could have been stated previously instead of backtracking to make it sound more agreeable. Sounded like you were trying to put me down, bro 🤷🏾‍♂️ You’re not telling me anything I don’t already know. I DO stick to one hotel chain. That’s the whole point of this thread 🤦🏾‍♂️ . I’m a Diamond member with one particular chain, yet majority of the time they hardly ever honor the late checkout privilege. I usually always have to ask, but it should be automatic. They see when I check in that I’m a Diamond member. I also have marriott and Hilton apps, because I do admire their properties and I think I’m a silver member with Marriott. But again, as has been mentioned: lot of their hotels are DOUBLE sometimes TRIPLE the price of the chain I normally go thru which I have Diamond status with. For example in nashville with the chain I normally book with: Now here’s Marriott prices: Thats Marriott app. My budget for hotels is usually always $100 or less, and I usually get nice rooms. If not trying to spend my entire rate on a hotel room, but I’m also not trying to overwork myself by taking multiple clients per day, when sometimes I’m traveling for 1 or 2 weeks at a time. But it doesn’t matter what chain it is, 12 pm still pretty standard checkout. The 4 p.m. thing I can almost be certain has to be requested and will be given at the hotel’s discretion. If there’s any kind of event going on in town, I can bet it will not be honored. Also something I didn’t mention about Marriott that I have often noticed: their TVs are often rigged to disable plug in of input ports. Meaning I can’t always play my own videos/movies that I like to bring to appointments or my personal use. I experienced that last month staying at courtyard Marriott. I was able to connect my player, and it would show on the screen but then, the volume was raised to 100 on the TV with no way to turn it down because the remote was rigged to the cable box (and I’ve also found out a way to get around that too, but they had the cable box behind a little “gate” on the wall 🤦🏾‍♂️ Also @marylander1940 if you think it’s so easy for me to afford 50 nights at Marriott properties, just send me your credit card and I’ll be using it to book it each time I need a room. Just keep in mind, most Marriott and Hiltons ALWAYAS require an extra deposit of $50-$250 (Residence Inn Denver last year: wanted to charge me an extra $250 deposit for one night in their penthouse suite I booked. I declined and just stuck with the regular 1 room suite which was $150 deposit) on top of the room (I usually have it waived at the cheaper brand of hotels I use). And then once I reach Diamond member status, I’ll send it back. Deal? 😂
  4. Amen 💯 1,000% actually. If I could give more than 1 reaction, I would 👏🏽 🏆 I see a lot of this “holier than thou” stuff on social media (aka Facebook) a lot. The same guys doing heavy drugs and sleeping around doing bareback parties outside of their marriage, are telling other dudes why they’re single. Hmm 🤔 you don’t say? (Not judging or criticizing anyone who does, but just an example). I really didn’t expect a thread about hotel checkout times to turn into a whole argument. People are quick to make answers without even getting the full facts. For example: many thought I was yelling at the MAIDS. No, I wasn’t yelling at the maids. I wasn’t yelling at all. I simply had a stern conversation with the desk clerk, who thought she had a reason to come to my room and confront me. And I’ll tell @Jamie21 again: I was not expecting to change the world in any shape or form. I just simply implied that having to DAILY checkout of a hotel at 11 or 12 noon when visiting cities (except the days I have the room for more than one night) is an inconvenience. And someone who doesn’t travel, or only stays in hotels once a year for the Palm Springs event: wouldn’t know how it is to have to check out of hotels everyday at noon when sometimes, you really have a need for 3 or 4 p.m. I highly doubt hotels would go out of business with that model. I even spoke to a member on the forum who works at hotels, and he says the only time they really don’t allow late checkout is when there is a football game in town. But MOST of the time, these hotels have the rooms available, nobody is checking in after me: they just only concerned about their bottom line. Imagine if an escort was like: your hour is over, on the dot. Stop, get out. Or better yet, 50 minutes into the hour so you only have 10 minutes to get ready and get out. I wonder how people would feel about that, when the tables are turned 🤔
  5. and here’s someone on another website saying the same exact thing: Why Hotel Check-Out Times May Become a Thing of the Past | Condé Nast Traveler WWW.CNTRAVELER.COM Some hotels are getting rid of traditional check-in and -out times to cater to a new kind of traveler.
  6. And let me say something else: it’s not just about checkout times: there’s many times clients want to request 12-1-2 pm meets. I generally have to decline those because I tell them, I can’t check into a hotel that early. And I mainly only host by appointment only. I’m not booking a room for two or 3 nights and waiting around for guys to show up. I book usually only 1 night at a time. IF the original client(s) shows up, and there’s other clients the following day, only then will I reserve another night. So the people who are trying to debate with me about checkout times: open your mind a bit, it extends beyond that. Think about how many escorts and clients may be inconvenienced because they can’t check in until 3 or 4 p.m. And like I said, no matter what request you make: if the rooms aren’t ready, the client is going to be waiting outside, in the lobby, or taking the escort to lunch at hooters (true story) until the rooms are ready. So @Km411 next time a client asks me to host a 1:00 p.m. appointment, I’m going to send them a screenshot of the hotel check in times, and say: “I can’t, I have to comply with the hotel policy”. You can’t come until 3. “Oh I can’t because…” I don’t care, it’s hotel policy ☝ Oh, you thought I was hosting at home? Can YOU host at home? No? Okay then…don’t assume. I may be traveling or have roommates/company, etc etc.
  7. Okay well, if the hotel policy is more important than the guest’s requirements: What if I started just telling clients: I can’t host at hotels anymore, they’ll have to arrange that? Then what? I wonder how many people would be quick to make assertions. Because if someone isn’t regularly hosting at hotels, they don’t have any business trying to pull the moral code card like a couple other posters have. And I’m not talking about someone who’s just an occasional traveler. If someone hasn’t experienced it on a DAILY basis: checking in/out of hotels EVERY WEEK for 2 and 3 weeks straight while traveling: Shut up 🤫 Because in the original situation: I could have stayed at the place I already had for free, but I got a hotel for the main purpose of taking the appointment. Even though I upgraded to the better room, in most cases I’m still doing so for the appointments. So I’m going out of my way to be inconvenienced: spending money to book a room, and having to leave at a time that may not suit me. But like I said, if people feel I’m sooooooooo in the wrong for not liking 11 and 12 pm checkout times: Maybe I’ll just make sure my clients host or book the hotels instead, and they can deal with it. Period. I’m in a city now that I’ve had 4 clients last week: they all hosted. I only booked a hotel for 3 days for my own personal comfort, but I didn’t host clients in any. Just goes to show though, some cities obligate the providers to always host to get business, where others tend to be more willing to host instead.
  8. First of all you spelled my name wrong… 2nd: you have a habit of berating me. You’d be the last person I’d take advice from. 3rd don’t tell me how “normal” people behave. If you choose to take an adversarial approach and response to everything I say, that’s on you. But don’t try to denigrate my message just because you have a personal dislike for what I discuss. 4th: stop talking to me, please ✌️
  9. I never said I didn’t request it. Never said that. I always request it, but often times I get told at check in: I have to request it in the morning, which sometimes doesn’t get relayed timely. And it wasn’t the MAIDS, it was the lady who checks in guests from the front desk who I called out. All she had to do was call (which I did call prior to checkout time but the phone just rang off the hook). She didn’t have to come up to my room all hostile trying to engage in confrontation
  10. So men who go there with their wives aren’t having sex? Explain that to me 🤔 You’re sounding like a real prude. Let me see you go to a hotel the day after New Year’s Eve, hungover and having to checkout at noon (which for that reason I stayed at a friend’s place this past one, and declined an invite to go to a potential hookup’s hotel room).
  11. Here we go again with you only reading and writing what you want to use against me, and not getting the full point. Guests who are upper tier members generally get a minimum automatic EXTRA hour check out past the time of the standard checkout of the hotel with the chain I’m with. I’ve been told this before. But being some of the hotels are individually managed, and some places only want to hire 2 maids for the whole hotel: they often don’t acknowledge that privilege, and often have to be reminded (usually by me) that I’m requesting DIAMOND MEMBER checkout time. If the bitch would have picked up the phone when I called down the first time, she wouldn’t have needed to come up to my room in the first place. She went beyond her call of duty, and confronted a guest unprofessionally.
  12. How are you going to tell me my operating model doesn’t work, but then say you don’t travel so aren’t going to offer any ideas? You might as well have just said that one line, and left it there. Because if you don’t travel often, then you wouldn’t know 🤷🏾‍♂️ But I find it cute that you have to use a broad term and imply I’m expecting the WHOLE WORLD to change for me, when all I’m discussing is how hotel checkout times don’t offer much in the way of flexibility. How is that changing the whole world? I think some of you just find ways to be disagreeable with me, just for the sake of not wanting me to say anything that I find inconveniencing. I already know for a fact it would make business easier if checkout time was later than 11 or 12. Many clients try to book around noon/1 p.m. I’m not going to book two nights room just to accommodate 1 booking. And as a matter of fact: I did book 2 nights hotel for one (pre-booked) booking last month. I asked him for $200 deposit and then I checked in the night before and stayed until the day after the next. In that case, it made sense to do. But in the case of the original story: I had no other bookings planned for that day and had a place to stay. It would have been a waste of money to rebook a 2nd night just to have an extra 15 minutes to checkout.
  13. Exactly, not to mention: you REALLY have to have excellent credit for those cards. Which means, having lotta money to pay debts. But when a certain segment of clients in some cities make fake appointments, give the run around, repeatedly book and cancel visits or don’t respond when asking them when is a good time to meet: I have to stay within my means. I already had 2 credit card bills due this week. If I didn’t leave the “figurative” Sodom and Gomorrah (aka Kansas City and St. Louis), I probably would have been broke and unable to pay it, dealing with the bullshit I been dealing with there, all last year. That said, I was curious and looked up what my credit card company offers for such travel perks. It’s only a $395 annual fee. But I’m not going to apply because the loyalty program tends to apply to a lot of the higher end hotels. Best reserved for celebs, corporate travelers and/or dual income couples 😂 Capital One's Premier Collection offers cardholders luxury hotel perks like free breakfast, room upgrades and more WWW.CNBC.COM Capital One Travel's new Premier Collection offers premium cardholders elite-like benefits at luxury hotels and... I disagree with that comparison 100%. Again: I’m a Diamond member so according to the rules: a late checkout and complimentary room upgrade should be standard. So, she should have had the courtesy to acknowledge that, not treat me like a bum off the street overstaying in a room. I bet if it was an older White man or woman guest, she would have not approached it that way. But considering she was a Black woman, she thought she could get away with talking down towards me. Plus I was having a medical issue and needed the extra time. That’s the thing: she came guns blazing before even inquiring on what the matter was. At that point she was like all surprised, but she still got fire back because: who is she to be talking to a guest like that? There’s nothing about that which is “right” nor company policy. The point of this topic isn’t whose side you side with. You’re turning a general topic into a personal opinion about right and wrong. I wasn’t looking for that. But that said: I checked that room’s availability because I almost booked an extra night (it was a large jacuzzi suite with separate rooms), and it was a MONDAY and nobody was booking that room. In fact throughout the week it’s consistently not booked until the weekend. So there was nobody waiting to check in. And they could never slap an extra fee on my card because: any time I go to a hotel I never leave more than the cost of the hotel on the card. I’ve had times people have messed up and charged my card 2 and 3 times when checking in. So she could not try that on me 😂 Whether drama or no drama: The 10-11-12 p.m. checkout still leaves me inconvenienced. It’s not about selfish, it’s about having a preference to have more time to allow possibilities or the option to stay longer, not be hurried 🧹out onto the street before I can even make a decision. I can bet hotels would make more money if they played fairly, and gave people until 3 to 5 pm to checkout. One hotel in Denver used to allow 6 p.m. for extra $25, but it was kinda worn (Ramada). During Covid, they demolished it. Not sure if it was because of that or general gentrification growing in the area.
  14. Yeah I’d love to start using credit cards more for hotels but, my credit has been impacted by lack of bookings in my home state. Exactly the reason I been traveling so much dealing with hotels in the first place. All in effort trying to recoup and be in cities where I’m actually appreciated. Likely not opening up anymore credit this year until I pay up the current. But yeah Hilton and Marriott is just more expensive across the board. I have the Hilton, Marriott, Choice/Radisson and Wyndham Apps, so I can quickly check all the prices. I’m in a hotel room now, that would have been DOUBLE the price if I stayed in an equivalent Hilton in the same area. And like I’ve mentioned before, I don’t have the inclination to take 3-4 clients a day to make up for it. I try to keep my hotel costs as best as possible for the largest room type. And I usually stay in suites/separate bedrooms. Well just because something has been going on for decades, doesn’t mean it fits into everyone’s circumstances lol. Not everybody is an up first thing and go schedule. People who are traveling for fun or a company may can control that, but someone like myself who often has to make decisions based on when other people are available: aren’t. Like @azdr0710 said: yeah it’s not the hotel’s fault that I don’t like to checkout in the middle of the day, but it’s also not my fault that some people can only meet around 12-1-2 pm: the exact dead zone times where it’s too late to checkout and too early to check in most times. Even the places who claim you can do that: I’ve gone to hotels and no rooms are ready. Clients have had to wait in the lobby until a room is available, etc. so nowadays I simply discourage clients from trying to book me between 11 am and 3 p.m. when I’m traveling and hosting: unless I have booked the room for 2 consecutive nights like I did last month. But I never book 3-4-5 nights at once anymore these days. In all my travel experience, I usually need about 5 to 6 p.m. to know for sure whether to stay or go. Like today, I had a client reach out at 4 p.m. to book a session for the evening. And yes, I do have loyalty membership as I mentioned above: but it still don’t matter. I still find the latest checkout is usually 1 pm. Or 4 p.m. if you buy the “late checkout package” for an extra fee: but when I ask some clients for an extra fee, they don’t always like it so….why should I be wanting to pay extra if I can’t be sure I’m going to get paid extra 🤷🏾‍♂️ The ONLY places I know that actually lives up to the “pick your check out time” are the bath houses and sex clubs. But of course they only give you 6-8 hours usage. And anybody who shows up has to also pay. But other than that, if hotels had round the clock maid service or at the very least: maids who stay until 5 pm: it would make a difference. I think the true reason for check in/out times is to accommodate the housekeepers schedules. Someone mentioned this before: they have to clean in the morning and early afternoon, so they can tend to their kids or 2nd job in the afternoons and evenings. I emphasize with that, but that puts the guests in position to be inconvenienced or: spend more. And I’ve had times where hotel stays have wiped out earnings on a trip, if I encountered a period of no bookings for a few days. So I’m never eager to book 2 consecutive nights unless I know I either have clients each day or, make enough on 1 day to offset the extra night (because some nights I do just need a day off, even if I’m paying for a hotel).
  15. I know that’s the best way to win/win time wise, but that’s just not financially feasible to do for every hotel stay. For example: this week I went to Memphis and had a hotel for 1 night. There was only one Pre-planned booking. I had another client requesting a noon booking the day before, but as checkout time was nearing: I hadn’t heard from him. This particular hotel was only giving me until 11:30 a.m. as a LATE checkout that’s normally 11 a.m. I even asked if I could pay extra for a later checkout, and the front desk guy from India is all like NOPE, we don’t do that. Even though the night before, the guy who checked me in, said to call in the morning and ask 🤦🏾‍♂️ I was hoping to stay in the room, but usually if I have no clients notifying me of a booking by 11 (and ideally the night before): I plan to check out. I usually can’t pay for 2 nights unless I know I’m having bookings, as that will be coming directly out of my sessions. I’ve done that at times before, and it’s a gamble if anyone shows up. Like last year; I booked 2 nights in Reno on my drive from San Fran to Denver. Nobody showed up 🤷🏾‍♂️ then I ended up missing a client in the next city in the process. Now today, I was fortunate: I stayed at the same hotel a client booked for me yesterday (I’m glad there are clients out there who book rooms for escorts…and in the ape shit scenario above, I’d only do that if I booked the room myself, FYI @azdr0710 and @BuffaloKyle lol 😝). I was too tired from a group session last night to check out, and since it’s Friday: I figured there was a likelihood that I’d get a client. So instead of staying at friend’s place, I re-booked the hotel under my loyalty account and ended up having a booking. Granted it was an outcall so technically I didn’t need the room: but for the sake of being available for calls instead of ditching my friend last minute for a booking, I did.
  16. lol I know I was going to catch flack about the ape shit comment, so I figure I best to elaborate on that. I exaggerated on that part. If anything she was the one going ape shit, I was more or less professional but: as I was checking out, I addressed her rather directly but: let’s just say not in my normal “smooth tone” voice some people say I have. I was returning the same energy she came at with me with. Normally, I would call the hotel chain customer service and file a formal complaint: but I had one hotel tell me they are basically charged $165 for each complaint that is made. I like the hotel, as I’ve stayed before: I just don’t like that particular woman there. And one time I stayed, she accused me of taking a shower in a room I looked at for nothing but 30 seconds, and asked to change. I said, “actually that used bath rug was already on the floor, that’s why I didn’t want that room 🤦🏾‍♂️ ”. In fact, I told her SHE was being very unprofessional. What she did, was basically knock on the room door, yelling “guest services!” and told me, “it’s after 12, I need you to pack your stuff and get out”. Ummm, excuse me? First of all: she could have called the hotel phone to let me know it was checkout time. 2nd, I called the front desk myself first and the phone just rang several times. But for her to come all the way to my room and confront me, was way out of line. Then she has the audacity to say, “I’m not paying my housekeeper to wait outside your room”. Excuse me??? As if I didn’t just pay over $120 for the room myself? All this while I was struggling to pack up with the way I was feeling. So @azdr0710 how is that selfish? I think you’re being biased. That is why she got the wrong side of me. I went down, handed her my key and said: “Before you come barging into my room: you need to get your facts straight, because I called prior to check out time to request more time to checkout, and nobody picked up the phone. what is your name? Because I’m going to be calling customer service”. And she continued arguing with me, being totally unprofessional herself. She lucky I haven’t called the customer service line, but I have up to 30 days so I just might. I know I could get reimbursed with a free night, but with the state of health I was in, she unintentionally got it from me personally. I didn’t keep the room a 2nd night because a former client of mine lets me stay in the 2nd floor of his house when I visit that area. But he lives in a rural town, and to host a client I need to drive to the city and get a hotel. One of the days, I booked a room and left after the session because I didn’t feel like dealing with checkout nonsense.
  17. I know I’ve mentioned this before and other travel discussions. But I’m just finding when traveling, the almost daily switching of/paying for hotels is detracting from the fun of traveling lately. For example, many hotels have scaled back to 11 a.m. checkout times. I’m always having to request noon or 1. For me ordinarily, this is way too early to be getting up and going. On top of that, you rarely ever get 24 hours stay until you book two consecutive nights, or check in very early like noon or 1. Which is usually either up to the hotel or the arrival to a city. And many clients don’t understand that trying to meet around noon, 1 or 2 p.m. is not good timing when hosting out of hotels. Even if it is a good time to escape the wife/hubby/work whatever. I know there’s chains that allow 4 p.m. checkout sometimes but: you have to be top tier member or pay extra for that “Package”. I also have been finding with Hilton and Marriott: they are often out of my hotel budget and always require extra deposits. Which means I have to come up with/spend more money initially before actually getting my bookings. Not to mention all the early checking out just leaves me tired, occasionally irritable (I went ape shit on a bitch working at the hotel last month for trying to rush me out only 15 minutes after 12 p.m. checkout: I was sick from the flu but also a Diamond member, highest level with the hotel chain), and just overall not able to get enough done. Like, I would like to be able to go to the gym after breakfast, but I can’t because I have to spend the morning checking out. I also don’t pack “light”. I’ve known other escorts do similar. I have two bags dedicated to client stuff and general hotel comfort stuff, in addition to my clothes, shoes, and in the winter: coats. I also carry a medium sized toiletry duffle bag with everything I need or may need because let’s face it: hotel products are sub par. Especially budget brands: I never use hotel soap or products. So I’m being rushed out to repack and carry all that stuff in the mornings, and I hate it. I wish hotels would let guests pick check in/checkout times. Majority of time when I check into a hotel when traveling: it’s often after 6 p.m. occasionally 3 if a client needs to meet early. But to then get up next morning and either have to pack or pay for another night, is bullshit. I may not need to stay for the whole night, but maybe just 5 p.m. or even 3 p.m. I wish I could write this same letter to the president of all hotels in America. Is there an address? lol. It really pisses me off and makes traveling so much harder than it should be. Having a place to stay is paramount, waiting around in cars and restaurants trying to get work done, make phone calls, etc is inefficient.
  18. Well I think there’s an assumption that if an escort is visiting and placing an ad in a city, that he’s automatically staying in a hotel. Let me explain why people need to nix this assumption: Sometimes when I go to a city: I may be visiting not for the sole purpose of sex work. I may be going to visit a city but staying at a friend’s or relatives. Obviously I can’t have random men coming in and out, and I may not want to gamble on paying for a hotel if I don’t have guaranteed clients. This is where the deposit logic comes in. Instead of me blowing money recklessly on the possibility of having clients show up to a hotel: I may choose to host for confirmed clients with deposits only, while having a “free” place to stay. But free place to stay 99.9% of time means no hosting clients. Which in my opinion, isn’t really free if it means possibly losing money, but….in some situations it just doesn’t make sense to book a room for the length of time I may be visiting. This way I can save money and not be pressed to find clients who will show up. Now, there are times where I go to cities and don’t know anyone. In those cases, I generally do book a hotel and pretty much just have to wing it accordingly. But best believe I’m taking deposits because, more and more hotels are charging ME deposits. I can’t just go risk spending on hotels and not having anyone show up. Like right now: I have $140+50 tied up in hotel deposits where I stayed at last week. It still hasn’t been released to my account. Probably because the holiday. But it’s so annoying. Money I could have accessed over the holiday is tied up, that’s why if I can avoid staying at hotels I will. And the current trip I’m on: all the clients I’ve met have hosted which makes it easier.
  19. For the most part, yes. Except in cases where they only want me to get off lol.
  20. Lol, no…I was just saying that as part of the overall context. Like basically saying: in addition to “this”, there’s also “that”. But it’s not the sole or biggest issue. I just want to quote everyone at once. Thanks for all your inputs. I think I’ve come to ultimately reach deep within and figured out what the true (straight truth) issue of much of this is. It’s not about me burning out the business. It’s about me getting sick the same tired ass markets with the same tired clients who play games endlessly (e.g. Kansas City, St. Louis, Indianapolis come to mind) that push me to lose patience. Some cities simply either A) suck for escorts or B) suck for non-White (specifically Black) escorts or C) suck after being there for a period of time and/or may be okay to visit, but not sustainable to live in either due to: 1. too many providers 2. closed minded population in a city 3. Preference towards only White/Latin/Non-Black providers within a market 4. expecting specifically Black providers, to meet for low/no pay 5. cost of living in city expensive for the relatively younger population that resides (Denver/Portland) comes to mind 6. not enough gay dudes willing to pay 7. high crime in a city (Houston comes to mind) 8. Cities where many are frugal or cheap towards sex workers, especially towards non-White sex workers. 9. Other possibilities not listed such as: stings, scammers, free sex, etc. being prevalent in an area. It all matters. And I have talked to a provider, White guy in town visiting: apparently he does well in a couple of the cities I mentioned that suck. Which is how I know. For example. Guys in certain cities only want to pay $100-150. Example: And what made me so upset to have to write this post, was because I had left a State that I was actually doing pretty lucrative visiting: came back home for a few days, and immediately started dealing with nonsense. I basically came home off tour for 4 days, and then was like screw this: I’m going right back on tour after Christmas. And I was immediately back to making money. I didn’t have time for people’s foolishness. I know I can only tour so long at a time though. Eventually I still have to go home every couple weeks, as it’s not often good to be away consecutively for weeks at a time. But…every time I go back home it’s a struggle to not run out of funds until by next tour, because lot of these Midwestern clients be on bullshit, only ever book last minute leaving no time to plan anything to make anything happen, etc. Going into this year, I’m finding a better place to go. Like right now, I came back to visit a city I used to live in…Nashville. Since then, there’s a decent amount of new clients that have popped up over the months, and I’ve booked a couple but: there’s still a boat load of providers here, and I notice the main thing seeking here is erotic massages. Which isn’t bad but, if I didn’t have a friend’s place to stay most of the time I been here: I woulda been breaking even/losing money on the cost of NYE weekend hotels in the area. That’s why I try to convey to people that I can’t just do $100 massages. I have to squeeze in 3 just to make $300, 5 to make $500. And Lord knows, many clients often have limited time available…which might not always match with my availability. So across the board, I mainly only see 1 to 3 clients in a day (not “per” day, and 3 is uncommon, but happened the other day).
  21. My Gawd. I can only imagine. I think that’s why there are many real estate gurus out there, who teach on how to sell etc etc. I actually have a relative who wrote a book on the subject. But I feel sex work is for the most part: is meant to be sought after, without the need for concentrated selling programs. Either the person wants to pay for play, or not. I’m not about to be spending 3 months trying to figure that out. The only effort to sell is the rate: and it’s an easy 1 hour commitment. Of course there’s various strategies around rates…but for the most part, it’s straightforward. You could be right but, it’s bigger than that even. I enjoy the career, I just don’t enjoy the ones who treat providers like an option, while prioritizing everything else. I know it can be compared to every other biz: but the difference is the sex component involved. I think I would enjoy it more, if I was in a position to have the luxury to wait for more people to come along.
  22. Lol no: I wasn’t 90 minutes away. I meant, if I went to see him it would be automatically charged as a 90 minute appointment, after midnight price. Mainly because it was like 20 minutes to get there, plus 20 minutes to get home equals 40 minutes. Add + the hour session, woulda been 90 minutes anyway. Well that’s good you’re honest about your situation. However, I feel not everyone is. As for the other guy, he might have been serious and genuine: but will see. However people need to not give an array of available days unless they are willing to STICK to them. Don’t tell me you’re free Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday: but then come back and say only free after Christmas dinner on Monday. In order for me to meet him, I woulda had to disregard my own family plans. Ummm, no. He shoulda just been reliable instead of giving me the run around. If his family is that much more important to him (which I’m sure they are) then…there’s no need to be reaching out to me then. Why do I want to feel like someone’s option, when they can’t even be bothered to make me a priority. It’s insulting. It takes one hour to fuck. Yet he has hours to spend driving to the airport and getting drinks, and of course no invitation? Wtf, it’s just rude and it’s the stuff I talk about that irks me 🤷🏾‍♂️ Luckily that night that he left me hanging, I went and met someone who did invite me out for drinks, and sucked me off 😆 Sometimes I just don’t have the capacity to tolerate fake and phony behavior every day I pick up the phone. I deal with that shit, too much sometimes. It goes beyond just a business or a sale: it’s like no: show some respect for the person you’re propositioning sex from 🤦🏾‍♂️ Please ✋🏾 That’s why I don’t care to do bookings around holidays. I’ve caught a break this week and booked some people in: but like DeJa Vu: I’m cutting the phone lines Sunday night, going into New Year’s Eve. But I think Nye is more a sex holiday than family Christmas but…people are still going to be trying to get freebie sex I think, where they can. I think I even read elsewhere: NYE and Valentines can be the hardest days to sell because people be trying to get laid for a bottle of champagne lol. Yikes. Well, I have been overhearing about the real estate game and how strategic it can be. I know a lot of sex worker/bartending/stripper guys often tout they are going into real estate. I’m sure the money is lucrative but, the real estate market never mentions how tactful you have to be. It’s a math and a science, and takes a lot of in person and field work. But of course, the payoff is bigger. A $40,000-$50,000 check is a life changer. $300-$400 is nice but, some days it’s still not enough to make ends. Or it makes ends for the day/week but can go fast if not enough clients are booking and being serious.
  23. I feel your plight. Over the years I’ve lost at least 2 or 3 “sponsors” that I was aware of their passing. In fact, I just talked to the mom of one the other day: who’s been in ICU for past 2-3 weeks. I know he told me he went in, but then I hadn’t heard back from him. So I reached out. Sounds like there’s been some improvement, but I don’t think he’ll be able to do any “activity” for awhile…not to mention the financial part I can only imagine. That’s also a reason why I try to stay traveling and taking new clients, relying on 1 dependable client can feel like a loss of a spouse depending on the arrangement. I know some people wish for having that 1 rich client to pay all their bills, but I’ve seen it go the other way: The “sugar baby” dying and the client suddenly losing companionship, etc… Anyhow, going into 2024…it’s definitely probably different since you left. I think small towns and small states aren’t the worst idea, simply because many of the bigger cities are becoming so popular with local and traveling escorts. That can make it hard to stand out, depending on who you are and where. I’d just work your magic, and see where it takes you:
  24. Right That sucks… Hmm, I’m finding this even with Diamond membership has gotten harder to come by. Lot of times, that 4 pm checkout tends to be reserved by availability only. I honestly can’t remember when the last time I was able to stay at a hotel past 1 pm, maybe 2 without having to book a 2nd night. It’s definitely a limitation having to checkout at noon though, and some chains have even been pushing it to 11. One lady really pushed my buttons last week: I had a bad bout of hiccups and was trying to quell it. She was knocking on the door 15 minutes past 12, telling me I need to pack up my stuff and get going as it was past checkout and the housekeeper was apparently waiting outside of my room for me to leave. And I’m a Diamond member with this chain, and had booked the most expensive room in the hotel (living room/jacuzzi). As I was leaving, I checked her in a major way (normally I would complain to the 1-800 number, but this chick deserved a personal message from me lol). That was so unprofessional, hotel staff shouldn’t talk to an elite member that way. Normally we get 1 p.m. checkout automatically and usually the front desk calls, not show up and knock on the door arguing with guests. Many places seem to always have the excuse of having 50 rooms to clean and only 4 housekeepers. Partly why I carry extra disinfectant when I travel lol. Yeah generally if the last day is on the 9th: it could mean the person is checking out and can only meet until noon. But like @Simon Suraci said, sometimes it’s better to let that last day be your last FULL day, not the day you’re driving/flying out. However…I’ve been open to catch morning bookings before checking out, on many occasions. This is candid, but true. I’ll admit: the “travel feature” is a complicated thing to navigate. The way it works: a provider can only advertise a city with NO DATES if it’s within 250 miles of whatever they set their current GPS/home location to (and home does not always mean my “home” as RentM often defaults). Home usually means my current location. So, if I’m in Kansas City: I can advertise in a number of cities within 250 miles away without dates. But I can’t advertise in San Diego unless I put travel dates, even if I’m just wanting to pre-advertise before I go and haven’t confirmed when I’m going. It’s reasons like that: sometimes I’ll just post in a city I plan to travel to: and just take my number down. People who book in advance are usually willing to email or go to my site. But the texts round the clock from people 1,500 miles away…makes you feel like you’re missing out. I had to contend with this earlier this month, when I was planning to visit New York. I was advertising ahead of time, but mainly to chat and get a feel for the area before arriving. However, I had to place travel dates up before I really knew what was going on. Then some things came up and I got detoured. So I had to post pone. However I’m starting to think the best way to avoid the riff raff: only advertise in the city I am in, nearby and the very NEXT city I’m going to. That way I avoid advertising dates prematurely and having to make changes along the way (I don’t do air travel so my schedule is much more flexible when driving). I had that issue last year, when I was trying to plan a drive from Kansas City to Seattle. People were contacting me a lot in the 2nd city, before I had even gotten to the first city. But then when I finally got to 2nd, a few people had to drop out or weren’t available, so all that advanced advertising wasn’t as effective, because most of the guys I met were same day visits. I wish there was a way to come up with a new method of advertising travels, without relying on travel dates. Of course, I’ve followed some guys ads: I would see one guy move his ad along a route I was familiar with: but absolutely no travel dates or “nearby cities”. It’s almost like using the Grindr/hookup app method of traveling: only posting your ad wherever you are. Which works for hookup apps because it’s free, but I just don’t find it works as well for business. I rarely ever have success just showing up in a city without any advertising in advance. I’m more with @Vin_Marco on advertising like two weeks in advance…though I actually find sometimes just 2-3 days or a week in advance is all it really takes. It seems anything longer, people just are just never available. It used to be I could advertise cities weeks in advance, take down a bunch of names and contact them when I arrive. But lately it’s best to advertise that same week, and plan to meet.
  25. I know it probably sounds like a rehearsed topic, but the truth of the matter is: sometimes I just don’t always have the capacity to take on the nonsense. I mean, I been actually having a pretty good December…I met my fit, Santa Claus appearing client earlier this month, and then a couple great new clients on tour. So I’m not complaining. Unfortunately I had to cut it short due to health reasons, and the holiday was close and I know business always slows down the 23rd-26th when family plans start brewing. But I don’t always have the capacity for rejection. Or random going nowhere messages. I’m not always “on” and ready to be a bubbly escort. Sometimes I just want people to book and show up. In fact I was having a good two weeks of clients booking things very perfectly: no issues confirming, scheduling times. But I head back home because it’s close to the holiday, and people start giving me the run around. It just put me in an off frame of mind. Like for example, a dude was texting me last weekend: I’m in green…but, it’s stuff like this. I know it seems like cordial conversation but, he might as well not even contacted me at all if he was so busy with plans that had nothing to do with me. I was literally available all day long Saturday, and half day Sunday…he could have made some effort to show up. That’s why I feel getting paid to handle client inquiries, is reasonable for me. I could have done without knowing he didn’t have as much time as he alluded to, despite saying he could do Saturday, Sunday or Tuesday 🤦🏾‍♂️
