Hardest Part About Being a Provider
CuriousByNature replied to RandyVue's topic in Questions About Hiring
Just to clarify, this string is not seeking input about the hardest part of the provider, correct? -
Any idea why Tristan does not indicate the type of massage he provides? I suppose this means it is therapeutic only? Please PM me if preferred

Now now, don't start a mumble jumble rumble...

Would you have a link to the video handy perchance?
-
A bit disappointing there isn't a photo of him in the desert eating locusts and honey.
-
Is this the same person? https://rentmasseur.com/HealWithGreg
-
Was it scruffyjock or something like that?
-
Who is it that you are referring to?
-
Are you willing to share who it was that made your experience toe-curling? 😉
-
Maybe he is 51 on Venus - that's about 32 on Earth.

Do you discuss hiring guys with friends?

Most important question: Was there pineapple on the pizza? -
I guess that means he wouldn't love about 60 pounds of me. 😜

Never heard of them. Glad they are okay, but how this sort of thing ranks as national news makes no sense to me.

Barbara Walters signs off for the final time
CuriousByNature replied to + jeezopete's topic in The Lounge
I haven't seen that yet, and admittedly I don't know much about Cohn, other than that he was not a good guy. I remember reading that he was a mentor of sorts to Trump, which is pretty disturbing. I understood that Walters dated him way back in college, so that would have been in the early 1950s, I guess. I don't know enough about Cohn to conclude that Walters would have known about the more nefarious aspects of his character - back then a lot more was kept hidden, and it was easier for people to keep things hidden in pre-social media times. Even wives who were married for years did not always know the fullness of their spouse's character - especially if a significant component was being covered-up. I also wonder if her support of Cohn was the result of any legal help he may have given to her or her family - not that it makes it okay to turn a blind eye to wrongdoing - but people are complex, and some feel loyalties that others may not. -

I saw that too. I hadn't realized she was a relatively insecure person, and consequently, a real perfectionist. She also had some sense of humour. In 93 years of living it is almost impossible for someone to have a blameless existence, so I can't judge too harshly about the Cohn situation or any other connections she may have had with nefarious individuals over the years. When you are a popular personality you will no doubt be introduced to, and move in some of the same circles as those who are later found to be morally reprehensible. The question I would have is whether or not she regretted any of those connections after learning more about the character of those individuals. -

I agree - as much as I like a good historic cemetery, many of them have become prohibitively expensive. When my aunt (actually a cousin of some degree) died in Vancouver a few years ago I think the family had to spend about $30,000 for the burial, including embalming, plot, and cement liner for the hole. And spaces in the mausoleum, where your casket is inserted into the wall, were something like $50,000 if I recall correctly. The idea of burial does not gross me out at all, but the idea of having to spend a good portion of the estate on a burial does make me sick to the stomach. Since I live in a less urban part of Ontario now I'm sure the burial cost would be a lot less, but I'm still specifying that I want to be cremated. My ashes can either be buried in a cemetery, scattered to the wind, dumped in the water, or kept on a shelf. I like to give people options - LOL. -
I thought you probably knew
-
I know who you are thinking of - the guy from the Netherlands who lives all over the place, right? And dating the girl from South America? I can see the resemblance, but it isn't the same guy.

With a profile name like that I expected to see a photo of some kind of Hawaiian fish.

Jeremy Renner critical but stable after snow plow incident
CuriousByNature replied to samhexum's topic in Comedy & Tragedy
It has just been reported that he was injured when his snowcat plow ran over one of his legs. Still in critical but stable condition. -
Thanks - it was a very long time ago, but I think it's probably why I have never had a romantic relationship. So in that sense the effects continue. But on the flip side I have also avoided all the complications that can be associated with romantic entanglements. I never disclosed the abuse to anyone, even via anonymous forum, until my parents had passed. Even though they were not the most nurturing people I think that learning I had been molested would have devastated them on some level, and I needed to protect them from that. Many people have suffered much worse than I ever have, and I try to see the blessings wherever they might be.

100% agree. The story and careers would have ended very differently if four men were televised sitting around a table discussing and joking about anyone known as Big Vagina Regina.
-
I wonder if that might be a scar of some sort? Maybe from something like a temporary ostomy following a colon resection?
-
I was given 'the talk' at a pretty young age, but I unfortunately already had some knowledge of sexual activity from previous abuse (which my family never knew about). Since I was abused by a male, that was my reference point, so it was confusing to hear what a man and a woman are supposed to do together. I remember being asked if I had ever experienced an erection, and I said that I had. However, I didn't really understand what an erection was until I got a big surprise several years later when I actually experienced one... 🤣
