+ RJD reacted to MrMattBig in RM Platinum Ads
Being 'platinum' on rentmen is $1 per hour, minimum 12 hours, or can convert to per day and cover 30 days for $540. This is on top of the 79.99 or the 39.99 if you have been advertising before the price increase and not lapse in payment.
Being platinum puts you on top, which can pay off huge, or with relatively no change in client acquisition. Advertising is psychology, always being on top with platinum is appealing to the psychology of certain groups and mindsets of browsers. This is in addition to target level of inquires for an advertiser.
Reviews is psychology, in terms of what triggers someone to leave a review, regardless of the experience they had, and the convenience and usefulness of leaving one.
In terms of reviews as well consider these scenarios:
Someone could be leaving positive reviews for a mediocre performance if they feel they could use that as leverage to get discounts and take advantage.
Someone could also leave a bad review that just had an ax to grind and is more indicative of an ill tempered client than the escorts performance.

+ RJD got a reaction from jj69action in What do you consider a fair tip?
Exactly. I generously tip wait staff, delivery men, repairmen, etc. because they’re working for someone else. Providers are earning and keeping 100% of a substantial fee for time spent.
I’ve just gotten into this hobby and I plan on seeing one provider I’ve met regularly who is a gem and makes me happy. I wouldn’t hesitate to buy him a small gift (sexy underwear or a bottle of his favorite cologne) to show my appreciation and affection. Plus, I think buying an actual gift shows much more thought than sticking extra cash in an envelope.

+ RJD got a reaction from liubit in How to be middle-class client?
This has been an interesting thread. My hiring experience is limited at this point, but I have been really lucky with my choices, thanks in large part to this forum. I’ve hired really sweet, kind men who don’t treat the sessions like business transactions, even though for them they are. None has ever asked for anything more than their fee. In fact, when presented with a small gift (sexy underwear) they seemed genuinely touched. The truly smart providers look beyond the current session and have enough integrity to not want to financially harm their clients or jeopardize a good relationship. All three providers I’ve hired have encouraged me to keep in touch with them even to just say hello and the most “pressure” ever exhibited was a “looking forward to our next session” comment either in person or via text.
As others have said, if getting pressured for “extras,” a strong but friendly NO will stop that and honestly, will be enough to terminate my interest in future sessions.

+ RJD got a reaction from Davesean in Question about reading reviews on Rentmen
After using up my data from the free account I created at hideproxy.me I wasn’t able to access it without paying. Another very helpful (and sexy) forum member @xafnndapp suggested just pasting the url of the site I was trying to access at http://nl.hideproxy.me/ which worked. I then found I was able to “renew” my free account with a fresh supply of unused data. Seems like a lot of work to read comments, but I’ve found them extremely helpful.

Sorry, I totally disagree with your take on this. I’m paying for a service, not playing Texas Hold ‘Em. I go into the casino expecting to lose.
And I completely disagree with this as well. If I call a plumber, electrician, bring my car to a mechanic, I pay upon completion of their services, not before. As far as your hospital analogy, I provide my insurance information and if there’s a co-pay I have them bill me.

+ RJD got a reaction from twinkboylover28 in Lack of Talent in the Market Due to Onlyfans
My concern with providing a payment method to browse content is the impulse buying, like Amazon. I can’t count how many times I’ve received packages from Amazon, opened It and thought what the hell was I thinking? I could see the same type of impulse buy on OF and JFF. See someone who I like, subscribe, six months and $90 later I’m having the same thoughts as when I open the Amazon boxes.

I don’t usually long for the “good old days,” but to go back in time when the name Kardashian was only associated with one of OJ’s defense attorneys....good times! ?

I don’t subscribe to any of them nor do I know all that much about the OF and JFF phenomena, but it seems like a very saturated market. Almost every adult-oriented Twitter and IG user seems to have one or both accounts. It also seems like you need to subscribe to at least one before you can see who else is providing content. I’d like to browse the available content providers before subscribing to any of them.

Thanks everyone. Very good and practical advise. I'll redo the resume tomorrow. I've already started updating the Linkedin profile.

+ RJD reacted to CuriousByNature in Job Search: Starting Over Past Middle Age
Very sorry to hear that... I'll mention a couple of things here without knowing what type of work you have been doing, what things you are interested in, and who you are as an individual.
In your resume/cover letter I would emphasize that you are a loyal and stable employee as evidenced by 20 years with one company. And maybe also indicate that while losing your job due to restructuring is difficult, your natural inclination to be positive and productive means you view this period as an opportunity to pursue new career challenges that will also assist in your ongoing personal growth and development.
It is never easy to lose a job, but you no doubt have a number of advantages over younger job seekers. Perhaps you are more mature, more adaptable to changes given your life experiences, more adept at building relationships with coworkers/clients, have a different work ethic, etc. These are things you can emphasize about yourself (without being negative about younger potential competitors in the job market).
You might want to reach out to employment agencies/ head-hunting organizations as well, because they may have contacts that could be beneficial too. They may be aware of a number of positions out there that are waiting for someone just like you.
These are just a few ideas... good luck with the search, and stay strong

Did you pay the $400/hour, the $1,500 six-hour overnight, or the $2,000 twelve-hour overnight?

+ RJD got a reaction from + Yellowrod in Very verbal
I think there’s two types of “verbal.” There’s the moaning and groaning, which when natural is hot. It can get comical when forced. Then there’s “dirty talk,” when someone is verbal about what they’re doing or going to do to you. That’s always been a huge turn-on for me. I was with a provider Saturday night @MascFitStud who brought me over the edge while making out with me, nibbling my neck, ears and talking dirty to me. Probably didn’t hurt that he was a gorgeous Brazilian muscle god whose accent is enough to make me hard, but the dirty talk was definitely a huge turn-on. ?
