In 1990 five male friends and I vacationed in Waikiki for eight days. There were two couples, another single guy and me. Even 30 years later, they still tease me about that night.

I don’t think the risk is the air filtration as much as it is direct exposure from someone sitting next to you unmasked while eating, drinking, and touching common surfaces like armrests, restroom door latches, and overhead bin handles.

Same thing here. Not only the adverts, but a huge increase in messages suggesting going to fuckjoin.com to meet guys. Also getting taps from guys who don’t display their distance but are nowhere near me, which I find out by temporarily making them favorites to see where they appear in comparison to my real favorites who display their location. I was scrolling through the Top 10 in Netflix the other night and came across Gaspar Noe’s Love. I knew nothing about it and was shocked at what I was seeing in the opening scene. I found this out the hard way, although in my case, I was hospitalized and being treated for cholestasis, colitis, and sepsis. They pumped me with so many antibiotics that I developed clostridium difficile (c-diff) which lasted 10 days. If you’re not familiar with c-diff, the best way to describe it is nuclear diarrhea. The hospital admitted that although I needed antibiotics, they over-dosed me, which not only destroyed the bad bacteria but also the good bacteria and completely screwed up my digestive system. I was on vancomycin and a host of other meds which prolonged my hospitalization and recovery. They assigned an infectious disease specialist to my case who instructed me to be cautious, even in the future, if antibiotics are prescribed and to question whether they’re really needed. So yes, it’s not Tylenol or vitamin C and should only be prescribed when necessary.
