I could barely recognize him. He's still lean but lost a lot of muscle tone and looks like he hasn't taken care of himself. I thought he was at the top of his game with his own website and production company. What a shame, but I would enjoy seeing him in more man to man scenes

I don' t think the OP really was as much concerned with so many Brazilians as how hard it is to find locals in much of Europe.

I live in the SF Bay area. Over past two weeks I have traveled through NYC, London, Paris and I am going on to Berlin, Madrid, and Barcelona. The RM ads everywhere seem to have Brazilians placed prominently in all these cities. Sometimes they claim to be Italians, sometimes Caucasians, sometimes native Americans etc. But you can tell they are from Brazil if you meet them. What's up with this Brazilian take over of RM?

Walk the streets of Rio and Copa or Ipa beaches and you'll see not every Brazilian is utterly attractive. However, the highly mixed population of Natives, Africans, and Portuguese has resulted in an appealing look. And that very sexy language doesn't hurt, too.

That is indeed true most places in Europe. Especially western Europe. You can go to Berlin or other big German cities where hustler bars still thrive. But all 6 hustler bars in Berlin are virtually 100% guys from Romania. Brazilians would be welcome. I haven't seen a German in one for 10 years. I've only ever seen 1 Spaniard in Thermas in Barcelona. It's half Brazilian and half Romanians. Patagonya in Zurich still gets a lot of Czechs with some Brazilians and Romanians, but never a single Swiss.

I don't have anything against Brazilians. I do like them and had great time in Sao Paulo and Rio a year ago. But when I go to these other countries I wanna try some local flavor. But I keep running into the Brazilians. You really have to look hard to meet local guys.

And a very poor job of it!

No way... If folks have that much money to "blow", why not spend it on helping someone less fortunate or buying book(s) for a college kid...

I have a friend who is on the board of Marriott, he told me more hotels are requiring a key to take the elevator to a guest floor in order to make guest go downstairs to meet folks coming to see them at the hotel. The main reason why they do this is hookup apps being used to mug, scam or simply rob people staying in the hotels. It's a hearsay but from a good source!

if anybody has updates or comments, please post!........the convention is to limit it to venues only in the US with regular full nudity in the main "public" room and which are open at least once a week......go-go-style clubs (in which the performer only goes down to some kind of underwear) and places where a performer might get naked only in a private cubicle or lapdance are not included......

If not already doing so, you really need to unpack some of these issues with a competent gay-affirming, sex-positive therapist. The right therapist could help you reframe and clarify your search for intimacy on all levels.
 
As for paid encounters, I agree with Walker1 that a more mature -- and especially a more seasoned -- professional that has a wealth of experience will provide a better session than a hot-hot-hot fly-by-night. I don't know that it's always about age, but several guys discussed on this board who have been at it for years and are serious and thoughtful about providing a real service to clients would be good choices. Some use the phrase "sacred intimacy" or similar in their ads to signal a willingness to engage with their clients in a more substantive way than just a physical act. If you want to share your general location and "type" you might get some good suggestions here.

I'm in my early 30's, have been openly gay since about age 17, but never quite figured out dating/sex. I thought I would do fine and looked forward to leaving home for college, couldn't wait til I'd have a boyfriend, but it just never happened naturally for me. So here I am. Basically have not had sex in about 10 years.
 
No idea if I'd be a nightmare client or what. Haven't met many others like me, and actually only recently learned that it's referred to by some as "Sexually Anorexic", and it really clicked/resonated when I first encountered the term.
