  1. May I join you? Please?
  2. i have a relative whose name is L V ”Jones” - his mother said the letters didn’t mean anything, she just liked them and the way they sounded.
  3. Check out this interview on Merv Griffin - J-E was an incredible looking man.

LOL - let’s just say that the scuba diving/breathing lessons I had taken the previous year or so helped tremendously to prepare for the experience. Both of us were blown away.

My goodness, we certainly are intuitive, aren’t we? ?

    Our dads.

My dad is in his early 70s, looks like he’s 50 and can out run, out dribble, and out play me at just about anything. He was a professor/coach at a number of schools for 45 years and is the coolest guy I’ve ever known. My brothers were all-star jocks, and although I played sports, Mom’s music/drama genes came through much stronger. I think he always knew that I was “different” and when I finally came out, I got a bear-hug from him, and life went on like nothing changed. Yeah, he occasionally would tease me a bit, and I just gave it right back to him. If anyone ever says/said anything about my sexuality, he’d be the first to step in. I don’t think he’d ever hurt somebody, but trust me, you wouldn’t want to mess with him. I appreciate him so much and my heart goes out to those who’ve struggled with their father/son relationships.

Sean was an incredible hire. He taught me how to perform a specific function - very patient, kind, genuinely great guy. We both lived in Indy at the time. Never experienced anyone quite like him. Such memories ...
  8. One more story about names, and then I’ll shut up. One of my clients had a child whose name was “L-a” Seriously. So when I met her, I fumbled a bit and finally asked how to pronounce it. Her reply? ”Lahdashah” Yep. What I mistook for a hyphen she said was a “dash”. Ergo, L-dash-a. Child abuse, plain and simple. You can’t make up this shit.

  10. Was he a relative? Jon-Erik
  11. Oh my, just seeing Victor‘s name pop up warms the cockles of my heart. And other parts, too. Dude, we miss you.
  12. Names fascinate me. A client of mine (when I was a probation officer in another life) had seven children. Her youngest, and last, was named, ”Seven”. I am completely serious - you can guess the other six. I do get tired of people asking me what my real first name is. No, it’s not Kristopher, it’s just plain Kris. Tofur is my middle name.
  13. Now if I count having sex with myself, rough guess is at least 10K episodes. Seriously. I had quite an addiction in my younger days. But I finally got a grip on it. Hard to let go. I relapse now and then. Like during pandemics.
  14. In the hundreds for sure. And a few women as I recall, when I was in my experimental phase.
  15. I’m making a list, and checking it twice ... once COVID ends, there are many extraordinary men out there in the 300-500 range which I consider affordable. Why are we even considering such high priced merchandise? I must be missing something.
  16. Having sampled this fine provider, the song, “Nobody Does It Better” always gets stuck in my head. Welcome back, sir.
  17. Ditto - makes my tongue hard
  18. Ever heard of Richard Rodgers and Steven Sondheim? They wrote “Do I Hear a Waltz” for Broadway in 1965. played 220 performances and bombed. I saw it in Pasadena maybe 20 years ago - big production - by intermission half the audience left. Should have followed them. Gawd awful.
  19. I believe he told me he lost $150 or so and maybe 10 pounds which he promptly found.
  20. My fantasy is to select about a dozen or so of the really hot photos in this thread, have them reprinted poster size and hang them in one of my bedrooms. Might be hard to explain when the nieces and nephews come to visit. Thanks to all who post.
  21. This is an addendum to my earlier post regarding a class reunion encounter with the dude who bullied me. His wife was at the event. Not a bad looking woman, pleasant. In hindsight, I wish I’d made some sort of remark, like, ”hey, nice to meet you ... your husband used to let me suck his dick, or maybe it was the other way around - you’ll have to ask him” and then walk away. But I didn’t. Maybe at the next reunion. The guy was an asshole in every sense of the word. Did a lot of mean shit no one ever knew about. I’m over it. Maybe.
  22. Very interesting question! The only bully I encountered in high school went on to college and ended up running a successful small-town insurance agency. Ran into him at 20-year reunion. You would have thought we had been best friends. He couldn’t have been nicer. Really weird encounter; people change, apparently.
  23. If it’s more than one hour, perhaps. But $16 per minute is a little hard to swallow.
  24. Victor Powers LiamV
  25. Is that Trump’s border wall?
