    I don't run, either Armyhands. For those who continue to constantly post "WTF is he referring to now?", Armyhands was in an earlier post explaining his military background, and that he doesn't run. Now, I'm not criticizing your service you provide, just the silly errors. Since you show how unhinged this makes you (just like when I asked you if you were circumcised or not many years ago), I'll take the advice of a former forum member who did not have a good experience with you and stay away. Naturally, that guy wouldn't post a review on your website. You want to look as good as you can.

     

    Kudos for having a separate website and for offering occasional gifts to promote yourself, Armyhands, and sorry for making you angry. If I change my mind and give you a try, I'd even tip an unbelievable 33 and a third percent of your asking rate on your current special. I'll let you do the math.

    @Smurof is just making a funny observation - albeit using quotes might've clarified that......I don't think it was a 'dis' or negative review.....irony and sarcasm: things this board could understand better!

     

    Really SORRY but I don't see it or get it.. and others too were asking the same thing above......

    I think we can all see ourselves in your shoes to some degree with respect to spelling, math errors, autocorrect, etc. Misspeaking is the worst, though... in a history presentation in university I was comparing the 1948 formation of the nation of Israel with the establishment of Israel in Biblical times. Multiple times I spoke of ancient Israel having hostile Genitals for neighbours. The professor later asked if there was any particular problem I had with pronouncing 'Gentiles'. I answered that I felt I should just shrink away in embarrassment, and without missing a beat, he said, 'or maybe just rise to the occassion'. ?

    Some months back he sent information about his newly remolded bathroom. I politely told him he really should change that, and he let me know it was too late, since people know what he really meant. Today, he's having an Election Day special, which is nice. 20% off his $50 massage - only $30. I'm no math major, but scaring people off with grime is one thing. Ripping yourself off by not understanding subtraction is plain insanity.

    I refer to the ones who make contact, usually asking about an appointment on the same day. I return the message, include details, and then get no response.

     

    I had a prospective client who has done the same thing, 2 or 3 other times. First contact was in January, second was in May, and then again yesterday (June). Each time, his first message would be, “Hi this is (name) in (insert city), I’m wondering if you are available for an appointment this afternoon”. I would then respond, give my info and find out how we can arrange. He would reply back once or twice, and then nothing.

     

    On the 2nd time, I thanked him for reaching out...but explained that I recall he previously reached out to me back in January, and didn’t follow up. I also said I don’t host (because they always want me to host) short notice appointments when in town, and that I need advance notice. He explains why he couldn’t reply back (and it wasn’t a good excuse at that), but then once again didn’t respond when trying to arrange over a course of a couple days.

     

    That was back in May. Then come yesterday, he hits me up again, saying we tried to meet before...but if I can meet last minute. So I once again tell him the same thing that I told him in May, about me needing advanced notice. I mentioned I could meet soon if he hosted, but I would need more time to go over to the location where I host. Sure enough, I got no response.

     

    So at this point, he’s flushed toilet paper to me. Reached out later that evening, and told him he needs to reimburse me for this last “false start” he keeps doing. His excuse? He didn’t actually set up an appointment. But does it matter? He’s contacted me 3 times over the course of 6 months, and bailed on each. That comes off to me, like he really doesn’t value or care much about connecting.

     

    As a client and/or provider (since it seems this goes on both sides of the fence), how many chances do you allow for people who initiate an engagement, but then just bail out after the first or 2nd text?

     

    Just Block them you have business to run just like everyone else.. It was a time slot that somebody else could had used your service(s)

    This has happened me soo many times I lost count.... If they don't Show up and don't let you know by CELL / TEXT / EMAIL etc... then don't bother with them again.... That's why I keep a list of Emails / Phone Numbers with dates when they don't show.... If in the Future they contact me again I tell them sorry no thanks... I tell them you made an appt in the past and never showed... Some people write back say they understand..

     

    We have to understand things happens but to be RUDE and not let you know they can't make it with no communications is a big super BLOCK..

    Do I Need to Disclose My Race?

    I am of an ethnicity that is generally considered less than desirable in the gay community. I've faced sexual and non-sexual racial discrimination on many occasions in my life. It doesn't feel great. This is one of the many reasons I considering hiring an escort. I want to be able to connect with men that normally would not give me the time of day because of my race.

     

    However, I guess I am being naive in assuming a financial incentive would completely eliminate a person's racial bias. Would the escorts still go forward with your session with them regardless of your race? How do you navigate this?

     

    It's soo sad too read this etc... I been in your shoes many many times over...... I been doing massages for a long time... When clients show up they would freak out and say " Oh Damm Your Black" or "Sorry Not into Blacks" soo then I had to add my race / stats / pics etc too my listing to make it clear what race I am.... It was bad when people would call me on my cell with block numbers and just call me the " N-Word" Soo now I have my cell phone forward my calls to my landline to show caller ID and stops blocked number(s)...

     

    When new clients contact me I make sure they goto my site to see my pics / race etc... it works... less hassles / drama... I even have it posted on my site ALL RACES WELCOME.....

    I have clients book sessions through my site etc... and never show up no Emails / Text / Calls etc.... then month(s) later want to schedule another session.... I just block em.... Today happen again... Client booked a session on June 20th never showed up... now today at 12:30am wants to schedule a session... wow...
