Scott is worth it. He raised his prices ~3 months ago, which has lessened the number of times I go to him but out of that list, Scott is your man.

As someone that you have blocked from your profile, I still don't understand the act. I looked at your profile several times because I was trying to make the connection of: (1) your presence here as an active forum member, (2) an ad of a provider who had a pic on his ad that was very similar to your avatar, and (3) Someone that I had personally exchanged emails and pics with and had similar pix. I did come to the conclusion that all three were you...and you confirmed it.

...And I wasn't being a stalker. I was just being aware of my surroundings. With the number of poor providers that change their names every six months, and all of the other scammers out there we have to be aware.

I look at many ads as research and to be knowledgeable about providers being talked about here. When I read a 411 thread in the forum, the first thing that I do is click on the link to see which provider we are talking about. This could happen several times for the same provider. Unfortunatley, when I open the private pics on an ad, they don't stay open. Therefore, if I go back to the ad the next day, I have to open the pics again (and the provider is notified again).

Just because I look now and don't buy...doesn't mean that I won't be buying in the future.

Good point. The issue is I paid more for that extra time. I went with 90 for a reason. I didn't get what I paid for.

Some great advice given here - which is what I was asking for. So thanks to all

I guess we don't see things from the masseur perspective (i.e how many times someone viewed). On high volume browses, then I can see your point.

If you didn't feel rushed, I wouldn't write a review in your shoes. This exact situation is why I try my hardest to maintain a 2 hour rule in between end time of one appointment and beginning of the next. It just seems to me like it was bad scheduling on his part. I think reviews should be for really good or really bad experiences. Shorted time but will see him again, I would hold off reviewing till after the next session, and review on the shorted time happening twice if it happens again, or review on how he knocked your socks off!

I have heard this OVER and OVER again from masseurs visiting Atlanta that clients are very flakey. Not sure why this is.

Some of the factors I take into consideration:

    1) Price: I look at ads that say they offer this/do that - but that is when they are at their home studio. When they travel obviously they can't offer all that, but yet charge the same price. Perfect example is a bed. I very much prefer a table, but a bed is OK. But don't uncharge the customer to be done on a bed. There is no cost to pass on (ie traveling with it). For me anything over $140 I will seriously question.

    2) Location: I'm specifically talking about my area Atlanta. I almost will not go downtown. 1) difficult and $$ to park 2) transit system is difficult and time consuming (I only do weekend massages that is when train schedule is slow plus Atl transit is crowded dirty and just gross). So if I call someone and they say downtown, I usually will not take it further. Know your market and where your clients are. I have asked many why they pick downtown - and the response is typically "because its easier or convenient for me". It should be more about clients than you - sorry if that hurts.

    3) "Interview": Personally I like to talk to someone on the phone and ask some questions to make sure it is a good match. There are many ads that say text only or no phone calls. I will generally avoid those. If I call someone and leave VM and then immediately get a text and no phone call, another red flag for me. I seek mostly theraputic (I said mostly not entirely). So when I ask someone what style of massage they do and the first thing they say is erotic, then bye.

    4) Reviews: If available I read them. I seriously wonder if many are fake. But I do read them. on RM if all the reviews say erotic or sensual I may steer clear

I have had my share of masseurs. Many are good. But the bad ones are HORRIBLE and perhaps that is why people are shy or reserved about it. I would say be honest when talking to potential clients. Its bad when you get there and have a totally opposite experience based on what was discussed. Most look like their ad pics, but some weren't even close.

Sure masseurs have been burnt before but so have clients. I have many where I paid for an hour and barely got 30 mins.

Two very recent experiences of why I talked to someone but didn't follow through:

    1) masseur advertised one price but on the phone quoted me $50 more stating that he can ONLY do outcalls and that is his outcall rate. So he was forcing the client to spend more and have someone come to him. If he offered both in and out and I chose in - that is on me. But to advertise both but say out only No way. Plus $50 to travel few miles tops was ridiculous.
    2) was ready to book, but the masseur changed hotel without telling me. It was further away and not easy for me to get to

Ok enough said. Just trying to answer the poster's question from a client perspective and view.

I had to think about this one....

For a truly only theraputic NOTHING else, I think $100 would be alot but reasonable.

But as mentioned there are many variables.

But clearly if someone is charging 140 upwards, its not just theraputic

As I said in another post, guys that travel really dont have a right to charge higher when they travel. Reason being, their ads advertise so many luxuries including a soft table - which they have none of when visiting (most of them).

I think many travelers come from places where they can ask those rates and just assume all parts of the country are like that.

    Ok rant mode off LOL

Yeah the caps thing is a deal for me. Its like shouting. Ads that have alot of "dont do this" or "only this" etc are a huge turn off to me personally. Ads with too many rules are annoying.

Hope this and the other replies are helping and you take them in a positive constructive way. After all you did ask for input.

@Mocha , I just looked at your Rentmasseur ad. You are a very hot man, so that is not the issue. I think your photos are great, your ad copy is good, a bit quirky, but that is a good thing since it sets your ad apart. Having a Blog is a bonus, since most masseurs don't use that feature. The 3 issues might be:

    1) In your blog you discuss cancellation fees, etc....which I feel is fair. But you also mention (if I read it correctly) that you have a "window" where you might run 15 minutes to an hour late. That is probably turning people off.

    2) I think the elephant in the room is your pricing. Your price is $150 on the front page. But in your review section you go more into detail, and your prices are pretty high. You charged one client in a review $240 for 60 minutes....another $250 for 90 minutes. I know extra services were provided from your service menu you provided, but I think clients contact you....go along with booking, etc......then contact other masseurs and find they can get it cheaper and back out on you. I suggest lower prices.

    3) If you want to keep prices higher and get a larger pool of clients, I would travel to the larger cities. Your travel schedule (except for Chicago) has smaller cities with less clients who probably have sticker shock at your prices. They get excited that someone hot like you is in their smaller town, book....then have buyer's remorse due to high prices and back out.

Hope this feedback helps. Good luck!

I generally agree about visitors from out of town staying in downtown Atlanta - I don't advise it. Those mega downtown hotels (Marriott Marquis, Hilton Atlanta, Hyatt, Westin Peachtree) each have over 1,000 rooms and were built for the huge conventions at the downtown venues that can attract 100,000 plus people. When no events are going on downtown, those nice hotel room can be very cheap. But downtown is boring and generally not safe.

But as far as downtown goes, the Hilton Atlanta downtown does have the Peachtree Center garage next to it. Safe, covered, well-lit, and $7 flat rate on evenings and weekends. It works well.

I generally recommend visitors stay in a hotel in Midtown. If price is no object, the mid-size and fairly-new Hyatt hotel at 10th and Juniper is very nice and absolutely has the best location hands down. If on a budget, the recently-renovated LaQuinta at Chantilly and Cheshire Bridge Road is very nice, in a great location (I-85 and GA 400 freeways, right between Midtown and Buckhead) even though not very walkable and has plenty of free onsite parking.

I met with CzechDelight earlier today at his hotel (Hilton). PM if you would like details.

He sent me a very detailed text.....he offers a 60/90 minute therapeutic massage for $100/$150. He also offers a 60/90 minute "sensual-nude" massage for $150/$200. The sensual-nude offers mutual touching and a release, but nothing more (according to his text). Outcall adds $50 to all prices.

Also while he's in Atlanta, I asked him to do a simple pic verification. He said he had to move on to another client and would not have time to take a fresh pic and send to me. He wished me best of luck. My hunch is that the pics in his ad are fake. When a guy already has numerous pics (including face pics) in his online ad for the whole world to see, I find it odd that he can't take a fresh pic for me (with specific verification instructions about the pic) because of "privacy concerns." I read this to mean: The pics in my ad are fake, so no legitimate privacy issues there! But if I take a real pic of me for you, then someone has my real pic, and then it becomes a privacy concern!

And a very boring 2 hours it was, especially after he got his days confused. Clearly untrained, older than his pictures. There are a lot of masseurs who just do it for the money, but who at least pretend to give a fuck about what they do. Not this guy. Nice enough, and his body was good for a guy his age, but not worth repeating IMO

I point my penis downward. (A) It's more comfortable for me that way; and (B) it's more available to my masseur. Plus, I tend to precum readily, and the downward point allows a clear observation of that for my masseur. On the occasions that I have been the masseur, I've taken it as a compliment of my handiwork when my recipient has released this little appetizer.

Another great experience. He is pricey but... Massage, him and just everything were great

Please don't PM me if you are going to ask about anything sexual. I simply don't discuss that. I'm not saying he does or doesn't. I just don't like to share any intimate details should they occur. I hate to say yeah this happened then that person come back all pissed at me if it didn't . Hope that makes sense.

Safe to say Jake is very good looking, super nice guy, great massage and the ending was happy
