  1. I'm sure you know Baudelaire wrote that... Later quoted by Eliot.
  2. Not sure how you can possibly read that much into his videos. I assume that "a guy like Reno" has a public face and a private one, just like other performers.
  3. I read this before I had seen the New Year's video and it seemed way off the mark to me. But it's a perfect description of that one.
  4. Guess: videos appear on gayforfans with their owners' permission as a marketing device. They leave them there for a week or two and then take them down.
  5. I would agree that a steady diet of his stuff is exactly that. But in small doses, or when you first discover him, it's (as you said) brilliant. Apart from the porn, to me his persona on camera (like some of his "how to" videos) is very appealing.
  6. Which raises the question of whether Reno was deliberately aiming for that (or even knows about "From Here to Eternity"). If he does/did, I'm impressed.
  7. I always wonder about statements like this. How do you know? Who did the counting? Are those many publications in well-regarded peer-reviewed journals?... Edit: just saw the much more detailed post by @SirBIllybob making this point.
  8. The most common "overcharging" situation for me involves a discrepancy of one song. I let these go, especially since I'm often not 100% certain myself of the count. Variation of this scenario: neither the dancer nor I is sure of the count. Of course this means we've both been very distracted and are, therefore, in a good mood and have no trouble negotiating a fee. A few times, I have realized later that I left the booth without paying and without being reminded and a very embarrassed me seeks out the dancer to rectify the error. I've only had 2 more serious incidents in 17 years, those involving a dancer grossly inflating the count -- the sort where I knew it had been 4 or 5 songs and the dancer claimed 9 or 10. In both I stood my ground and suggested calling the manager. In one case the dancer immediately offered a "compromise" and in the other, the manager backed me up. I'm sure it helped that I am not an unknown quantity to the managers and bartenders. When I first started going to Montreal, I worried a lot about this (mostly because of stories I read here on the MC). But I'd guess that such disagreements have occurred less than 2% of the time.
  9. You just made my day with the term "spank bank"...
  10. But hasn't your posting rate slowed down over time as mine has? Maybe it will continue slowing, pushing your 100000-date farther into the future.
  11. You have any stocks to recommend?
  12. Ah memories...that Haitian dancer from Taboo...
  13. Thanks. Found interesting stuff online. For example, Urban Dictionary claims the "slut" meaning is from French Creole and "is predominantly used as an expletive in many former french colonies", whereas interglot translates it as (among others) "dickhead", "asshole", "piece of shit", etc. Something I found in wikipedia which I think I once knew and forgot: "Salop is an old name for Shropshire, historically used as an abbreviated form for post or telegrams...."
  14. Me too. And whoever gets them out to view? It's bad enough with photo albums, but I do look at them occasionally.
  15. Definitely worth the upgrade. Dissenter here. I've had both and much prefer the earlier/cheaper model where you attach the bowl to the base.
  16. "Slut" probably like the French(-Canadians?) use "cochon"
  17. That's how he comes across in his videos. I'm happy to hear he's like that in person.
  18. He has a video explaining how to run an onlyfans site. It's clear that he puts a lot of thought and effort into his business and I'm glad it pays off for him. For me, his killer smile -- present almost no matter what he's doing, from the most vanilla to the most "slutty" -- is a large part of what distinguishes him from his competitors.
  19. Not till 2024, IIRC. Given where I usually stay, the 747 will probably remain my airport transportation of choice.
  20. Nor mine...but I appreciate it when posters take the time to call our attention to escorts they thought were exceptional.
  21. Why not? Can't see that a simple greeting -- nothing more -- would make you seem like a stalker. Don't be upset if there's no reply. As I implied, the best way to go is to hire him again!
  22. That additional information is relevant. Escorts are humans, after all, and their conversation isn't always business-related when they meet someone interesting. Still, there's more to lose by being over-eager and annoying. After you've seen him a few times, the level of friendship he's comfortable with (if any) ought to be clear.
