I just expect to be disappointed, so I keep my expectations low when subscribing.  As far as at least a preview, but googling their screen names or searching at LPSG.com works best for me.

Man - by the end of the year he will be able to see clients on both coasts without leaving his house. 

Confirming vax status is as easy as showing a card or a digital status with the various vax-passport services.
While it's to everyone's personal preference, why would a client spend time with a sex worker who doesn't care about their well-being?
Whether it's a hep vax, PrEP or just a yearly flu shot, when you're in the business of using your body in close proximity, it's paramount to do things to protect yourself, which in turn protects those you spend time with.

He hasn't posted any new body pics on his IG for a few years, which tells me his body is not as tight as he used to be. I fully acknowledge there is a market for that, but I feel he should advertise as he is now.

I think if you follow common sense it would work: for example
 
a profile with clear picture
a clear negotiation with demands met beforehand
no deposit or cash transfer until meet
meet at public space first, like a bar
(and this step is important if you like twinks: CHECK ID)

I would be very wary of those "looking for gen" guys. They have been popping up on pretty much every hookup app there is. The typical exchange goes like this:
Him: hi
Me: hi
Him: *unsolicited dick pic of torso pic, faceless*

Given the amount of robberies and worse crimes that come from these apps, self preservation and caution is the order of the day.
