Watched The Way We Were today, commercial free on one of our PBS affiliates.
First time watch.
Couldn't pass up Barbra and Redford.
Sounds like Barbra was a little smitten with Redford.
Bradford Dillman caught my eye.
Glad I finally saw this one. Streisand was quite good, of course.
Slightly on topic.
The movie Dear White People was written and directed by a gay man.
One of the main characters, Lionel, is gay. I love the character and how that character is portrayed.
There are also other LGBTQ characters.
And yes, there is a separate thread that discussed this movie, but in a different context.
I liked it.
The movie has good reviews.
The director's Facebook page reports it banned by Amazon with no reason given.
I will give Amazon a reason why I'm cancelling my DEKKOO Prime channel. I'd rather get DEKKOO directly from DEKKOO anyway. Amazon Prime video is a hot mess to navigate.
Austin City Limits never ceases to amaze me, especially with acts I knew little or nothing about
like Sufjan Stevens, Residente and St. Vincent.
Tonight Shinybones was on the 2nd half of the show and wrapped it up with a song called East Texas Rust. Was jaw dropping good, plus Kevin Russell let it get a little flamboyant.
If you weren't planning on a vacation and Texas isn't on your list of places to blow your travel budget anyway, one could have left it at that. Might have been better to wait for him to come up with the idea about flying you down and back, since you've already blurred the boundaries between, as mentioned above. Seems tricky, your expections and his. I can see how someone might take offense when a friend dismisses the other's situation, escalates the argument and won't let go of it
Thanks @honcho
Looks like Safari for Windows is no longer supported. I may give it a try though.

Margaret Cho and Jimmy Yang are awesome.
For even more Asian worldview through comedy, try Ronny Chieng, Chinese Malaysian.
Streaming on Netlix.
Also, Joel Kim Booster, Korean American, raised by Baptists in the South, came out as gay!!
