  1. Have you seen that some escorts are “freezing” their RM ads? Presumably because they are on hiatus and self-isolating?

    Here’s an example:

    https://rent.men/BrianBonds

Does anyone know any other Escorts doing this now?

Yes all of CA is on a Stay at Home To Shelter " order, so some of us are abiding by that and freezing out accounts. I am using the time to focus on fitness and working out everyday at home till this passes. You can still email your favorite workers though thru their ads even if their account is frozen. You just can't Instant Message them thru the IM option. I know some are still working, but some of us including myself decided it was safer for all involved to listen to the "stay at home order" that our state issued.

  2. My very first client ever was from Grindr. I had been propositioned before, but always said No! But that particular night I guess I was curious and asked how much and the guy offered me $200 Hour for my time. I had recently moved back home to Oklahoma due to a house fire here in CA and was like Sure why not!? I saw him over the next several months on the regular until I moved back to California. I've been advertising on RM ever since then. So I think it is fine for a client to ask. I mean I prob would have never considered escorting if it wasn't for that guy asking. And I realy LOVE it! So he did me a BIG Favor by introducing me to this. He never believed me when I told him that he was my First though.... LOL He laughed and Said "Bull Shit!?" LOL Like others have said though you just have to be careful. In my case it was an amazing First Time experience.

  3. This thread was brought up to me by a client today as he was surprised when I went down on him without a condom for oral. Like others he read this thread a year ago and assumed I always use condoms for oral and that I was sneaky about it. Both are NOT true. I deleted my comments from this thread as I realized later I wrote them poorly and even when I tried to clarify I meant sometimes I use condoms and that I always tell a client ahead of time if I feel I will need to use condoms for oral...people still seemed confused so I deleted it all hoping to just let it go. But others re posted comments without my explanation to make me look bad. So to re clarify.. I only use condoms for oral if I feel the client is a higher risk due to being into bb sex or never getting tested. In those cases I always let them know before booking I would have to use a condom for oral. I ask questions of clients to gauge how safety minded they are. The majority of clients I make appointments with this isnt an issue as they always fuck safe. So when I went down on my client today and he brought up this post I looked it up and saw some sneaky people re posted my comments but only the ones they wanted as they wanted to attack me and make a false point. They didnt re post quotes where I explained myself. So again to clarify I only use condoms for oral if I feel the client is a higher risk for STIs( like guys that fuck bb). And I always tell them before seeing them if I feel this policy will apply to them. Thankfully the client that I saw today took a chance despite this thread and got to enjoy my soft lips down there! ?

  4. Why any provider would accept a personal check from a client unless they’ve enjoyed a long relationship is baffling. The protocol on first meeting is to leave the fee in full sight. 90% of providers will find this to be quite acceptable.

As for the flakes, the providers I know are fairly adept at discerning the flakes and blocking them. I know a number who have never been burned. Discernment aside, sociopaths constitute 4% of the US population, so encountering them, as has been reported, is, sadly, the cost of business.

I think you missed the point. Escorts don't "Accept checks." It's a scam this guy was doing. Saying he was gonna pay cash, but then afterward saying he only has a check. Session is over, so there isn't anything you can do but take the check or leave with nothing. It's no different than a guy shoplifting or dining and dashing in my opinion. Some people do the dine and dash with bad checks too, so it's not a NEW scam. I have actually found the majority of clients do NOT put the fee in full sight as you suggested. It seems kind of tacky to demand it be in sight, but I guess it would stop a scam like this. But I think it's a one in a million chance of getting scammed like this, so not worth demanding the cash be out in sight for every client. Seems like if we get to the point of demanding something like that we are being a bit paranoid and need to find a new line of work....

I agree on the flakes comment though. They all display certain characteristics that we quickly learn. Even the bad check guy gave hints if I had just followed my gut instinct... To me it was a lesson and not a tragedy. Like u stated it's a cost of doing business. We learn and move on.

  5. The police were not called. I guess the client had the same the same response all the escorts need ripped off did: will the police be able to help me?

I'm not condoning violence and I'm not sharing any info on this escort. And think about it: tying someone to the bed and demanding money doesn't exactly go well in regards to the police or courtroom. It may go better than assault but not a much better option. As for walking the client to an ATM refusing to leave, escorts have tried this. It only results in the client calling the police or security and claiming that this random trick is coming at him for no reason.

As for the missing part of my story... The escort had heard about the bad check guy and there was some details and what he heard that tipped him off eventually before the the session was over. I do not know exactly what that is, but since he heard about this client first hand from people the client had ripped off I imagine it was something particular maybe even an ”I love you”.

I was more joking about the tying up aspect. Like it's a funny idea vs violence in theory...well if one has a dark sense of humor.. It's still highly illegal and I imagine some violence would be required to get him tied up though. So it's only funny to think about doing or joking about it (which was what I was doing ...joking) But it is not funny to actually do it. For me I just took the check knowing it was prob not gonna be a good check and went on my way. I believe in Karma and knew that what he was doing would eventually impact him as the Universe has a way of providing revenge on Her own without our Help!

  6. So it sound like this guy is real. I put him in the category of criminals, for sure, stealing services and not paying for them is what criminals do, not normal people.

It is a guess, but I am pretty sure he can’t afford it at all, but just wants the sex anyway.

If he hadn’t found this method, he might be raping to get the sex he apparently so desperately needs.

If an escort attached him to the bed (instead of beating him up) and called the California police, how would they react? No need to mention sex of course, just the agreed hours of companionship and the missing compensation for it.

I wasn't implying the police should be called.

  7. There is a guy in SF that gives people bad checks after a session--after saying he'll use cash or card. He often involves security and sometimes calls the police. He has done this to dozens of people and many people I know. He uses burner phones, alternate yet accurate stats, and has several locations (he claims are airBnB) to host. Most of these details have been posted on Twitter. I make a lot of notes and save this sort of information. I've several numbers, descriptions, addresses, and names for him. I have a copy of a bad check and a video of him screaming "security". He's tried to hire me several times. I've politely declined.

I'm NOT condoning every instance where Mocha has posted people's info. But when a client flakes on a scheduled session with a no call/no show or writes a bad check, I assume he does it to others and will do it again. To me this is no different than stealing. In my opinion, these clients forfeit there right to discretion and their "personal" info should be shared.

Last month, the bad check client hired an escort that realized who he was before the end of the session. The escort flipped out and beat his ass bad. Broke several teeth on his fist/against a wall...

The escort had only heard about the bad check guy. He hadn't seen his varying info sporadically posted online. He didn't know what I knew. Had there been a more efficient website or service dedicated to posting this guy's "personal" info, many escorts wouldn't have been ripped off and the client could have saved himself a trip to the hospital.

I think I had this guy back in January in Los Angeles!! He kept saying "he loved me" an showed his love the next day with a bad check for $1k I remember texting him after it bounced and telling him he was gonna do that to the wrong person someday. Sounds like I was right. Even though the guy is a prick it's still sad to hear about him getting beat up like that. Violence is not cool. Even for pricks. I think a better option when the escort realized who he was...would have been to tie the guy to the bed...and offer to untie him only when he produced his payment. Or maybe just make him apologize. Violence is not cool. But embarrassing a prick would be a good alternative. I don't know if I'd have the balls to even do that though....

  8. Agreed. I feel like @KCRob's statement could/should be a whole thread of its own to call this behavior out.

I'm the OP of this thread, and I agree with providers having a list that they can put clients on but publicly sharing someone's phone number because they didn't set an appointment or keep an appointment is a real piece of shit move. If the person stole from you, was violent towards you, or threatened you in some way- I get it. Green light. Destroy them. But just because they are rude, or flaky, or disorganized, or their life suddenly changed is really unconscionable and is likely to land Mocha aka Jarrod Brandon aka Joey Bryant in some trouble of some kind somewhere along the way.

could not have said it better myself! Agree!

  9. I am not condoning that the escort who is being referenced should have resorted to violence, nor am i condoning the behavior of this alleged habitual scammer client, but i took, IronMaus' comment more to mean that the Escort was aware of the existence of "a particluar habitual bad check guy", and to be on alert, but did not know the extent of how much he frequently changed and tried to disguise his past identities and therefore inferred that if there was a more robust system in place for escorts to "compare notes" as an example the whole unfortunate episode could've been potentially avoided.

Again I'm not condoning the violence and maybe perhaps this provider should absolutely be avoided due to anger management issues and impulsive violent streaks, but it might be unfair to suggest that he "assaulted someone on a whim" in your response when you leave out the fuller context and the beginning of the comment which started as... "There is a guy in SF that gives people bad checks after a session--after saying he'll use cash or card. I've politely declined."

Who knows maybe the missing piece of info was sometime during the session the client commented that he would write him a check when they were finished despite telling him beforehand he'd pay in cash as was prefaced as the guy's scam and it dawned on the provider mid way, that "oh shit", maybe this is the notorious "bad check guy" and he confronted him? Total speculation on my part which i admit, but play the rest out logically. If it is indeed the scammer he prolly doesn't have any cash and says to provider something to the effect of, what are you gonna do? Sue me? Call the cops?

But you're correct if there are providers who are beating up clients whimsically we OBVIOUSLY should be all aware of who they are just as providers should know of clients who go to elaborate and great lengths to constantly scam them and then play the victim and uses security and police to further the scam knowing the provider is more vulnerable and not likely to assert their rights.

OMFG!!! The client that did the same thing to me was visiting Los Angeles from San Francisco!!!!! Holy Batman!! He wrote the check from some brokerage acct that had been closed. And I think he was using a burner phone. It started out as a 2 hour session and half way he asked for an overnight. I told him my fee and he agreed to it. Then next day wrote me a check. I should have just told him to keep it and asked for him to just pay my damn parking and gas!! I wonder if the guy that did this to me is the same guy though? He claimed he was checking out apartments in LA cause he had some bad things happen to him in San Francisco.... He was annoying as Hell which made the bad check even worse. Kept telling me he "loved me!" Because of him though I always add "Paypal or cash only" whenever I send potential clients my rates. For me it didnt escalate. I was pretty sure the check was going to bounce, but I just wanted to get away from him and go home. The phone he was using btw was an Iphone SE...the cheapest Iphone you can get!!

  10. Either something is missing from your story, or that escort assaulted someone on a whim which puts him into a category of providers to avoid.

Whaaat!!!? Did the client in question keep saying "I love you baby" to the escort!? Cause that's what mine kept saying all night...before he wrote me the bad check. I don't think it's cool though to beat up someone for not paying you or writing a bad check. However when this client did this to me I was kinda thinking...Dude ...he is gonna do that to the WRONG escort some day!!!? I hope it wasn't my guy that that happened to... It was a shitty thing to do (writing a bad check), but I would hate to see anyone get beat up like that! :-(

  11. I was reading a news story that one of the fucked up parts of FOSTA is that a resource sexworkers were using would be taken away. Apparently the bad date list helped them keep in touch about clients the shouldn't take based on bad behaviors like non-payment or even violence. Just wondered if something like that exists for the M4M sexworker community?

Relatedly, I also heard from a local provider about a client who "forgot the money in the car" and then just drove off. How would he get the word out about something like that?

I once had a guy wait till next morning after an over-night to tell me he had no cash. No paypal. Only a check. Took the check as what other option do I have at this point? Of course the check was written from a closed acct. I wish there was a bad date list to put him! :-( I decided to chalk it up as cost of doing business though. Like when someone steals from a clothing store and the store has to eat the cost.... The "forgot the money in the car" though that's even more messed up. Other than the check writing fool though I've been pretty lucky I guess.

  12. That's wouldn't be unfair in my neighborhood, given that the local spas, whose therapists won't do stomach or buttocks, charge that much or more.

I went to a spa once in West Hollywood that did touch my buttocks. It was a woman masseuse though, so maybe that's different? Also I had a pulled sciatic nerve that she apparently was able to tell, so she did it for therapeutic reasons... I remember thinking though why is this lady touching my rear...she must know I'm Gay! LOL I won't say where it was though in case she wasn't suppose to do that.

  13. Hmmmm...I hate to be nit picky and not agree with my friend @Shawn Monroe, but it’s one of those things that I would have to say is more of a personal preference, than a law.

I’ve had clients come see me in everything from the econo lodge up to the entire family of Sheraton, Mariott and Hilton. I’ve only once had a client balk at me staying at a doors outside hotel. That was in Houston, and I doubt it was because of the hotel anyway.

The thing is, that same rule ends up being applied to clients as well...which can be unfair. I’ve made as much money in an hour at motels as I’ve done in hotels. Some clients stay in motels due to pets, or saving money to hire escorts :p

Also, if anyone remembers...the Boston murders that took place years ago, happened to a provider who was staying inside a doors in hotel. Granted, cameras helped catch the suspect, but those same cameras can also cause an escort to get spotted and get kicked out.

I’ve also stayed at a doors in hotel (Phoenix, Arizona), and had my car broken into. I’ve never had my car messed with in a doors outside hotel. I usually park in front of my room and leave the curtains open. Personally, if it were up to me...I’d choose those hotels all the time. I hate walking miles thru hallways and elevators, especially when I’m already tired from traveling. But I realize they tend to be run of the mill. Also in the summer, flies get into doors out motels much easier (speaking of which, my worst fly infestation at motels happened to be in Oklahoma City of all places lol)

I personally have to switch between upscale and low budget hotels for my comfort. Sometimes I get so tired of these posh business hotels where everyone is White, dressed suit and tie, and sitting around talking about work and politics. On weekends, all the families pack the nice hotels and get on my fucking nerves with their kids and shit. Sometimes I just want to park the car, and walk straight to my room without seeing anyone except my next client. And that usually involves getting a 1st floor room where I only walk 6 feet from the trunk of my car, to the front door of the room.

The ONLY budget hotel chain I would not recommend, is Motel 6. Simply because their beds are like bunks, and even though their new style is cleaner, the rooms are often like children’s rooms and beds...and I’ve got a sensative back that hurts in the mornings on flimsy beds. Rodeway inn, America’s best Inn, and Econo Lodge seem to have a knack for not making budget motels FEEL like budget motels

Agree with all that. Except the Rodeway Inn Last time I stayed at one it was super Scary! A client paid for the room for me after our session. Was soooo Loud! Cars coming and going in the parking lot. I decided not to book any other clients and just locked the doors...and went to sleep. If u stay at a motel like this choose a room on the inside of the courtyard as on the outside it is too damn LOUD!

  14. Welcome to the club. Sometimes business getting drummed up in another city doesn’t always promise the desired outcome.

However, I’m confused as to what you mean by find a good excuse to travel? Personally, I would make it very clear that the trip is specifically to see clients, even if it's not specifically him. But even if it is. That way a deposit can be made. I wouldn't make excuses like you're traveling to do other things, otherwise it's going to give the flakes less accountability.

I have mixed feelings re: The cancelling travel dates when not enough business is expected. A good client may get really pissed off about that, others can be more understanding. Regardless, some of those may or may not reschedule. But when push comes to shove, it's going to be the escort who's stranded miles from home if shit doesn't go accordingly. So, if you think you can break even and have the money to atleast go and come back, by all means go. Sometimes, you may not get the responses you want until you actually get there.

Even on this roller coaster Washington D.C. Trip...I came with only 1 advanced appointment from a regular, and just been riding the waves with spur of the moment sessions. I like to let people know that wherever I'm going, is usually strictly for expected client visits. Even getting a hotel is for clients only. That way, they understand I'm not just on vacation having fun. If they think that, they'll cancel and change plans whenever they feel like it.

Who cares if it makes you look needy or aggressive. After paying $3 a gallon and more for gas, and $100 a night for hotels to get somewhere, I'm obligated to feel a bit needy and aggressive. Traveling is not a joke. Gas is too high, hotels too expensive. When I hear about these guys getting all expenses paid trips to stay at 4 star hotels by THEIR job, I would feel like a goddamn clown to be traveling around like a chicken with no head...paying for my own hotels and expenses, while people flake and play games. Oh HELL no. I have 0 tolerance.

Now, if Rentmen was paying for all my travel, hotels, and lunches and dinners...AND paying me a $100,000 salary a year like these corporate dudes are getting, I wouldn't complain as much. But that's all fantasy.

He didn't really specify how much interest was required to not cancel plans. I can say though I agree with what you are saying. One or Two clients to me is enough interest...cause you will likely drum up at least one other client in addition to that once you arrive. So for me as long as I have enough "for sure clients" to pay for my travel expenses I go thru with it. I don't believe in canceling on clients. So if I book a client I follow thru. Now if my one client I have is not giving me the feeling he is "for sure" then I might consider not following thru travel plans if that is all I am getting as far as interest.

  15. Although this is about traveling in general, I promise it's actually a question for other escorts and not just me talking about travel plans, so I do feel that it fits here best. I'm sorry if it doesn't, and if asked by a mod I have no problem moving it to the travel section.

Anyways, it's finally getting nice out, summer is starting strong, and although I love traveling and exploring new places, I haven't really had much of an excuse to make very many trips for a little while now. I'm really starting to get the itch, haha.

I'm curious about any insights other escorts might have on how to use being a provider as a way to create an excuse to go on some trips. I've heard providers will do a thing sometimes where they list travel dates, and then cancel them if they don't drum up enough interest. I might try that a bit as a way to help, but I really don't want that to be my only tactic. For all I know it has a lot to do with my area, but I'm so used to flaky clients at this point, that I would hate to feel like I've drummed up enough interest, make the plans, go on the trip, and then end up having not enough clients follow through to justify the trip in the first place.

Also, is there a good way to try and put out some message to potential clients along the lines of... "I really enjoy traveling and even if you're far away still contact me if you're interested because knowing enough people in your area are interested can give me enough of an excuse to make a trip to your area" ?

I'm not so much looking for how to word that necessarily, but just a way to put out that message without making it seem like needy or aggressive or something.

I always post "Close to traveling" for areas under 50 miles from me. But if I'm gonna travel further and get a hotel I post dates I am traveling. I also announce in my ad that I am taking pre-bookings. I explain I don't want to be on my phone the whole time I'm there, so please pre-book. If the person messages and books with you after a few questions you can be pretty sure they are for real. If they ask to book you, but can't give a date and time...don't take that as a for sure booking. I write them down on a post it note as someone that might come thru. Also if a client seems like they are just trying to have free phone or text sex with you...they probably aren't serious about booking Another post it note. Most clients that book ask a few questions...settle on a date and time...and then disappear until the day of. You send out a confirmation...they respond. You meet. Fun ensues. If they want an all day or Overnight take a Paypal Deposit to hold the date. Those are my favorite cause I'm like okay this is For REal Happening!!

  16. Recently an escort I haven't met before asked me to send two photos and my "full name", so he could verify my identity before he would agree to meet. I said no and explained it was for privacy reasons. He replied he wanted to know for security reasons. He is apparently new to escorting, but I wondered if there could be some entrapment attempt involved.

For whatever reason, have any of the providers here asked for a client's full name? I wanted to make sure I haven't slipped into a parallel universe where this is standard practice.

    ~Thanks

I don't see anything wrong with asking for a photo, but asking for a full name is a bit ridiculous! I only require a photo if I am hosting. As the client is coming into my personal space and I want to know who to expect at the front door. If I am doing an Outcall I might ask for a photo, but don't require it and normally don't even bother asking for one.

  17. An escort I want to meet with is traveling to my city soon. I have contacted him to set something up and he only had one spot available which is 10:00pm on his last day in the city...mentioning he was already booked the day of. Since he told me that he is meeting clients before me that day is it inappropriate to ask him if he still will be able to cum and orgasm by the time he gets to me?

I feel weird bringing this to the forums but here is where I’m coming from:

    1. I prefer an escort to cum when in a session with me. If an escort said he won’t or couldn’t come that is a dealbreaker for me.

    2. I actually have had some (not all) traveling escorts tell me in the past that if I book them later in the evening there is a possibility they “won’t cum” because they have seen several guys before me.

    Any advice is appreciated.

    I agree with azdr0710"Old Timer"

If you flat out ask me if I'm gonna cum I am gonna feel uncomfortable and feel like you are part of some sting operation. I would probably just turn down your booking to avoid the risk. A better way to do this...like others have suggested...is to tell the provider what you hope will happen. Don't flat out ask for an answer. Just share that you think it would be Hot if your provider was able to cum during your session. Then it leaves it open for the provider to respond..."yeah that would be fucking Hot!" So you get your answer without asking for it...and without making the provider nervous or uncomfortable.

  18. Gotta say the greatest massages that I have ever received (and I have had hundreds) were from the late Glenn Wilson of Tucson, Arizona. He had very limited Esalen training and some Lomi Lomi. Some guys just have the touch. When Arizona went to licensing about 15 years ago he did not bite and chose to remain unlicensed. So if you asked Glenn for his license he would have come up short on that test. There are many trained masseurs (I have 1,200 hours) who choose not to license because then they have something to take away from you and also it is best to leave licensing to those who are playing that game. Also sometimes strictly therapeutic masseurs, as I am sure some of you have experienced, will exclude whole portions of your body (glutes come to mind) or spend 80 percent of the time working on your back. It is trial and error. Also many great M4M masseurs do have reviews on yelp so do your research (google by phone number.) Like many thing in life it is trial and error.

Yeah they can't touch your glutes if they are licensed. :-(

  19. For a guaranteed legit massage, ask if they are licensed or certified, you can even get the license number and look up if it’s valid and what styles they are trained in. Usually the guys asking $250+ for an hour massage will give you a glorified back rub, and it’s more about the extra elements. If the price is more reasonable it’s probably only a therapeutic massage, but that means it’s probably a decent one. Harder to find are the people that do both ;)

Technically if they are license...they would get into trouble for giving extras. So if you ask for their license number...you are kinda asking for "no extras"! lol I'm not certified but if I was and someone asked for my license number I would give them the most legit platonic massage EVER! As to avoid getting in trouble. So if you want a professional AND extras... Just keep in mind they take a risk by giving extras if they are indeed licensed. One phone call and a client could get his license yanked!

  20. Its a catch 22, I'm all for heightened security, doormen, card keys to hotels, as it provides a safer experience for both parties. Although does anyone get a little shy/paranoid meeting downstairs and feeling like everyone is looking at you and thinking they know this young kid is about to go upstairs and have sex with this older hot gentlemen, kinda hot in a way lol. I always feels weird meeting someone after midnight and having to say my name to a doormen after midnight lol :p

They could just think you are meeting your uncle....https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4dwaNnfxIs0

  21. Well maybe it’s a problem you’re encountering regularly. I don’t. Since I’ve been doing this hobby (almost 10 years or so) only one guy ever has told me one thing and lied about what he was willing to do when we met. It was rather early on and he was using fake pics to boot.

Now I’ve had guys worry about taking me when they see my dick, but after a few assurances that I’m not the jackhammering type, I’ve had no problems... even from guys listing as tops.

Some of us like the Big Dick! ;-) Bring it! ;-)

  22. I would not pay for Uber for an escort. I have driven many escorts back to Manhattan from here at the Jersey Shore. I have given a tip to cover train fare if the visit is a short one. I am not frugal and I appreciate the effort being made to come out to where I am located. However, hundreds of thousands of people make this commute every day for their job. Most of the time, the commute is part of the cost of having the job. So if there is an expressed expectation of the client paying for communing costs, those expectations will not be met. However, if the escort makes the effort, he will likely be rewarded above and beyond the cost of the transportation.

    Screening goes in both directions.

I never ask for an uber. But I have had a couple of times where a client asked for me...I arrive and get Ghosted! And I started noticing a location pattern- LAX hotels. It was their intention from the start. Some just like to play games with us I guess. I'm sure they had a good giggle out of it. I think the point of them asking for an Uber though is to screen out those kind of people and not cause they can't afford the commute. I don't ask for an Uber cause I prefer to drive in my own car. However....I won't usually meet a client that says they are staying at a hotel by LAX cause of my experience. That's my screening process. If I notice a pattern in a certain area I just nix it out of places I will accept bookings. Probably not fair, but my little car can only accept so many wasted miles before it is like...SNAP out of it!!! lol One client responded to my telling him I had banned the LAX area from my client list by offering to get a hotel in Burbank instead of by LAX to show he was not a LAX flake. Even though he flew into LAX. Met up with him in Burbank and had a great time! My point is we all have ways of screening. Mine is probably dumb. But the other guy is using Uber as his way to weed out flakes. I would not take personally. Just realize he has probably had a few too many flakes and needs some way to keep himself from going nuts over it. He chooses Uber. I just flat out Ban LAX area. I kinda think the Uber idea is probably more rationale than mine!? lol
