I've said this before, but I highly recommend patrons who haven't had Thai massages before, dealing with injuries, have less or limited flexibility, etc. to communicate (to the extent they can) those to the masseur. The stretching can come somewhat abruptly, or at a level you're not used to. A good masseur can adjust; I often can take a lot of pressure in my upper body, but my legs can sometimes be more sensitive, so I communicate that. But I've definitely been stretched where I've let out a little whimper lol. I've honestly had great massages with all of the therapists there except Oliver, where our sessions seem to have progressively worsened (I pretty much tip a standard 30% so I don't think it's that). I saw him at Sparadise and not only was in the room next to the laundry (which was banging loudly AND made the room shake), AND he was lackluster (he may have been under the weather). Then the following visit was also not up to his colleagues. So he is no longer on my list.

Has anyone had the pleasure of getting a Nuru massage in LA? An actual Nuru massage where the masseur uses his full body to slide up and down (and I don't mean his ahem, appendage). I'd say RichardLA comes close. He regularly incorporates his entire arms in his massage but I've had a Nuru experience with his full body a few times. https://rentmasseur.com/RichardLA Unfortunately, one of the better masseurs who uses this technique, Mindbodylove, appears to have relocated. And although he has Nuru in his profile, I cannot recommend MattLAX. https://rentmasseur.com/MattLAX I didn't specifically request Nuru, but he only used his hands, and barely at that, using the same repetitive motion and light pressure. He never massaged my arms, neck or shoulders. Moreover, he made me pay up front and cut 25 minutes (probably closer to 30) off the 90 minute massage. I live 20 min from him, and had fully driven home by the time the massage was supposed to be done. Not exaggerating. Anyway, taking recommendations for other Nuru masseurs in the area! Thanks!

You'll be fine (especially if you're not Asian). it's mostly the former and not the latter. The irony is that you will see zero Koreans at this Korean spa. The services are generally good although I'd avoid the body scrub. Not completely sold on their hygiene and I broke out badly on my neck after.

A couple of the guys work (or used to) at Sparadise in Weho and definitely on La Brea which isn't too far.

He's only into white and Latin men He literally makes a face when he sees that his clients are not (I've observed this twice at his "day job" spa). Massage was average and I recall him sniffling and wiping his nose throughout the session.

Male Massage By Rob Los Angeles Hollywood West Hollywood
RunnerGuy replied to Michaell's topic in Spas & Masseurs
One of the worst massages I've ever had in LA. He's had those photos for a decade. I previously saw him in Hollywood. Difficult parking. Massage was done on a bed instead of a table. I distinctly recall fuzzy bedding that irritated my nose. He was clothed, not even remotely sensual, and boasted how much money he was going to make doing massage out of town that weekend. It was years ago and I'm assuming I wasn't his type, so YMMV. -
Volume way, way down on this one.

All I can say was there was some loud moaning coming from the adjacent room to my massage this weekend lol. Must've been deep tissue!

Colinmassage 2025 / LA based, visiting NYC
RunnerGuy replied to + DiscerningNYC's topic in Spas & Masseurs
Colin is good-looking and has a incredible body. I found the massage a bit cold though, literally and figuratively. His place was cold (massage was done in the middle of the living room of a large, somewhat drafty house) and he never asked me about the temperature. Massage was fine but I got the sense right off the bat I wasn't his type. I recall a bit of sniffling; maybe he was a little under the weather. Nice guy, nicely equipped, but I wouldn't repeat. -
I texted him twice recently with polite inquiries. He read the messages and didn't respond, FWIW.

I got a massage from Parker a few years back. It was fine other than the fact he had (and didn't tell me) that he had contractors over working on his pool/backyard so you can imagine how relaxing that was. I even believe towards the end one of them had a question and he either stopped our session or interrupted it to talk to them. Don't remember whether he also got nude and/or I wasn't his type but he's also an adult performer and fairly searchable.

I saw Joe at his new place. Same setup as his Thai town place. Massage was good as it always is. Hot stones were a nice bonus. He's put on a few pounds (he himself said this, not me).

Any recent experiences with Aussie Alex in Denver?
RunnerGuy replied to HDfun's topic in Spas & Masseurs
I remember him (and his same headshots) from his LA days...about 10 years ago now. -
He spoke English perfectly during our (pillow) talk. His boyfriend is super hot (I don't recall his name/profile). He was in the apartment as well which was kinda awkward.
-
He may have been social distancing from my privates lol.

I visited a few years back, just after the pandemic. I remember the massage being good but no extras. I distinctly recall they said to "leave your underwear on," for what it's worth.

Joe lives in a busy part of Thai town but parking isn't too bad during the day or weekend. Around dinner is tough given all the restaurants nearby. Had a very good massage with him. Also recently had Andre for the first time and he's got some muscular arms, probably the best built out of all. Oddly, I also don't think he looks like his pics but he looked fine. I've really had solid sessions with all of the masseurs aside from Oliver.
-
The complete opposite here. Talked my ear off the entire time and even if there were extras (I can't remember) they weren't memorable. I do recall he has pets (cats?) that he had to shuffle away to another room.

Went for the first time about a month ago around midday. I'd say the average age skewed a bit older (50s) but there were some guys in their 20s and 30s. Everyone seemed pretty nice which hasn't been my previous experience at other bathhouses. I'd say I was physically attracted to maybe only a handful of guys across different age groups. Place was clean but bring sandals for sure. There was one huge guy (like 6'4) who looked like a Kelce brother and was getting railed.

Alex is great. Very friendly. Thai massage is different that other massages: it involves lots of stretching and your masseur may crawl or even step on you. Don't worry, Alex is smaller (like 5'6 or 5'7). Make sure you communicate your pressure preference clearly (English may not be their first language). If you're not super flexible or have limitations you'll want to communicate that as well. If your muscles are "cold" you may want to warm them up before your massage. The room may be a little cold too and draping is minimal, though tables may be heated. Make sure you're comfortable, communicate and enjoy.

No Intel on the massage front but I've seen him around town in person and he looks like his pics. I think his partner is also a masseur. He also is an adult performer.
-
Extremely expensive and empty. Not worth it.

I've seen nearly all of the Thai Wellness guys working at Sparadise in recent months. I'm speaking of the La Brea location, not SMB. But I "met" them initially at the SMB location.

FYI I saw him at the massage studio and paid those rates, which are less than his RM rates. So perhaps that have been the difference. But I also looked back at some old posts and things were definitely more than sensual previously. So YMMV/based on rates.
