Hmmm. Certainly tedious if overused, and doesn't really apply to the sentence you chose, but I can't think of another way to express in writing when you are truly stunned by something. Which is the only time I would slow my speech down like that.

According to the Merriam-Webster dictionary, one of the definitions of the word "find" is "attain, reach." Therefore, an email can, in fact, find something - such as its recipient. The example given in the definition is "the bullet found its mark." However, the example sentence could easily have been "The email found its recipient." In the case of "...this email finds you well," the word "well" modified the word "you." Lastly, I've heard the sentence "I hope this letter finds you well" spoken in old movies. This is not a new expression.

Because while relatively fewer people feel bound by them, there are still gender/sexuality norms/tendencies. I mean, it's still significantly likelier that a guy is gay if he dresses like Johnny Weir even though strictly speaking, fabric in and of itself is genderless.

I love the way you put that. As though someone went out there and “installed” mountains.

I’ve said things like that before. I was in Denver once and saw a mountain range and told my friends, “I’ll bet you they painted those mountains so they look like the mountains on the Coors Light bottles.”

I totally agree with that, Benjamin. In fact, based on some escort’s responses on these threads, they have made me want to hire them even more.

@AJ Doyle Thank you for your response. Please don’t inhibit your postings because someone disagrees with you. After all, this is a discussion forum and requires posts to survive.

Besides, you’ll always find someone to disagree with a stance you take and it’s no reflection on you (or them). I can post “I like blue cars” and someone will invariably come back with a litany of posts spelling out why I’m an idiot for liking blue instead of yellow cars. It’s life on message boards, so please don’t let that dissuade you from posting.

Do not ask “are you in law enforcement?” in your texts. It makes you look amateurish and implies you’re doing something illegal.

Aside from that, in spite of the widely held (and ridiculous) belief that a cop must tell you he’s a cop, he doesn’t. So there’s no point in asking anyway.

The fact that you feel that you have to write, "...the thought of flaking is unfathomable to you (eye roll)", shows that you've missed the point of most of the reactions here.

Agree with everyone who says add a face pic or two. I’m with most...no face pic, no dice. I’ve been burned too many times where I’ve seen absolutely SLAMMING bodies, then they show up and the face is busted.

But he didn’t know any of this information when he posted it. So, just because, in this particular case, the pictures MAY be fake (we still don’t know), and it was a google phone (which none of us would know if we didn’t look it up), it’s OK that this person wholly violated the number one thing trusted and relied upon in his profession: discretion?

No way, no excuse or apology will make this right.

Agreed, @Indigo. Aside from Jerry Springer, who pays for an escort with a check?

That’s why I could never fly an escort in from a different state. Besides that I couldn’t afford that, I can’t imagine the logistics of it...send him a plane ticket? The money for the ticket? What if he doesn’t get on the plane? What if he arrives and is terrible at his “job”? Now I’m stuck with this guy for a day plus or whatever? Not for me. Even an overnight I wouldn’t do.

Yeah, and what if he didn’t find this thread and realize that, instead of supporting him, we find what he did despicable? And, at first, he tried to defend an indefensible position, as well as try to SELL us something (read the PS in his first post). FOH!

Outing someone is NEVER OK and that bell cannot be “unrung.” To potentially damage someone’s life, marriage, safety, job and God knows what else because you were miffed that he wasted your precious time is unconscionable and a disgrace to your profession. An apology after realizing people are not with you on this and the damage has already been done is totally unacceptable.

@AJ Doyle I think that should be brought up before the appointment. I do not like a condom for oral and that would be a major influence in me hiring you. To not bring it up ahead of time is disingenuous to me.

Note: I’m not saying you shouldn’t perform oral without a condom if that’s your thing, but at least let the client know ahead of time.

To me, we can't control who we find, and who we don't find, to be sexually attractive. I don't find women to be sexually attractive and I don't find all men to be sexually attractive. However, I am not charging people to spend time with me. That's the key here. If an escort can only perform with a narrow band of clients he finds attractive then, in my opinion, he is trying to get paid for a hook-up.

As many Forum members can tell you, there are plenty of escorts who perform well with people who span a multitude of "types," many of which do not fit into the conventional definition of "attractive." That's why these guys are well-liked, frequently recommended, and successful. Interestingly, the ones who come to mind do not charge outlandish rates. They also have nicely-worded ads, reply to inquiries quickly and professionally, and treat others with dignity and respect.

SORRY, nada wrong with turning back the odemetor on J-Date, but NOT when you're selling your car. (and agree, current un-altered pix do make it sort of ok regardless of the number a scort lists) BUT (ie one delusional scort I've written much about here) when they shave 10-15-or MORE years off the number AND use ancient pix or photoshop the shit out of them and I'm expecting a college dude to walk thru the door and a guy closer to MY age enters, that's WRONG WRONG WRONG. No matter how good they may "still" look, it's someone I'd HIT ON not HIRE

I was about to say since when have men, gay or straight, cared whether their partner wants to look deep into their eyes and talk about their hopes and dreams.

Str8 guys take advantage of drunk sorority girls who cant consent all the time. Its not always as easy for hot straight guys to get laid as one might think. Many girls of caliber know screwing early will get them written off as sluts and many want to be wooooed. There are so many dynamics that are hard to type out.

One of the coldest hardest truths is that str8 guys have an attractiveness that is laidback and not thought out. Its a roll outta bed brush ur teeth head for the door hot. Its the i can get under the hood of the car n show uo to home depot with grease all over my clothes hot. Its the i can do yard work with holes in my house clothes hot. Its the i dont need to fuck with my eyebrows or facial fillers hot.

I have seen many good looking gay men in my day but they always have been super aware of it n it has always gone to their head.

Have you ever seen a group shot of marines or firefighters or cops? No one is in designer clothes has vidal sasson haircuts or airbrushed for the gods but that natural boy next door/dad next door charm trumphs all.

Some ppls idea of hotness is mannequin doll with puckered pink lips perfectly coiffed dyed or bleached hair. Brows waxed to the high heavens and the fierce zoolander face in photos. But some want the opposite and maximize their chances of finding that.
