I heard that version also and was able to make deals that were favorable to him since he was sober.

My Father always said that the Gibson Cocktail originated with Hugh Gibson, a handsome career diplomat, who held positions as US Ambassador to Poland, Belgium, Luxembourg, Brazil, and Switzerland. He was also a leading figure in disarmament talks between the wars. Ambassador Gibson, wanted to keep a clear head at diplomatic cocktail parties and receptions. Martinis had become popular and Gibson instructed his staff that they were to put only water in a cocktail glass and garnish it with an onion so he could identify his drink. Gibson was good looking and charming and soon it was noted that he drank dry martinis with his special garnish, and people started to emulate him, and the “Gibson” became a popular Martini variant. It also blew the Ambassador’s ruse. I know this is probably apocryphal but it was a good story, and I used to tell it to customers on slow nights when I was tending bar in College.

Just wanted to celebrate that I received my first review on rentmen last night! 5 Stars! I’m really quite thrilled! And the experience was a blast. Guess you always remember your first one!

Like everything else here, I don't think there is a 100% certain, foolproof answer. However, it may help you to ask them if they do the massage on a table or a bed. In my experience, masseurs who are serious about massage will strongly prefer working on a table. If a guy does it on a bed (especially for incalls), he's probably more about the sexual aspects of the meeting.

I have asked a couple of guys to dinner after an appointment. Usually after the massage and I am getting dressed there is some chatting. I simply state, hey, I am going to grab some Thai food. If you don't have plans, would you like to join me? For traveling guys it has worked every time.

Just wondering - any guys in the NYC area who have amazingly nice feet and can cater to a client with a serious foot fetish? Prefer younger guys with clean, well groomed, soft feet. Not easy to find. But, once I do, I come back again and again. Hit me up if you think you have what it takes.

I've never thought of this as a fetish, but that describes me perfectly. I always linked it in my mind with being somewhat on the sub side of things (to use another fetish/kink as an example). Part of why I enjoy escorting is because I genuinely like making others feel good, especially folks who are considered "less than" because they're not conventionally attractive, able bodied, or whatever.

I’m new to both the board and getting massages (outside of the therapeutic chain spas). I’ve appreciated everyone on the board (I’ve avoided some people I was possibly interested in because of numerous warnings).

I’ve only had three massages (from three different people), and I’ve enjoyed every one. I’m happy to discuss my experiences with people who’ve PM’d me, but I get the reluctance. I feel it’s almost easier to discuss a bad experience. I try to reiterate the YMMV aspect, even though I know it’s implied. What I’m looking for/enjoy may not be the same thing you are. I’d hate for someone to book based off my recommendation and have a lousy experience, but I think we all understand that’s the risk.

@Elendil524 that's my experience. I was a lurker. Then signed up for an account. Lurked some more and only recently stared to reply more.

You are spot on about YMMV. I have had better experiences with some people than others and vice versa. Anything extra is extra and may not even occur with the same person successive times.

Pretty much at this point I just have no expectations when approaching new people and just ask questions up front and make sure that if it's something they would rather talk about in person than via text, that's fine. I want a good massage first and anything beyond that is icing.

Same here, all the time. What they need to understand is that each experience is different. What happened at my appointment may not necessarily translate to the same experience for their appointment.

I go with my instincts on these. If I know a member or they have been part of the forum I don't mind giving some details. For those that are new here I only give details in general terms. Of course when a review of mine has been posted there is a definite spike in interest. I always advise those who PM me to reach out to the escort and inquire "gritty" details. Telling them they will be satisfied. I never give "negative" feedback on a PM. I never know when that individual might use that against me and tell the escort/masseur my comments.

hey everyone i just want to let you know that masseur finder has been going thru a LOT of changes lately. the url addresses no longer contain names, many of my reviews were dropped...(about 35 of them leaving me with 11 client testimonials) ~ the verification process for clients to post reviews NOW go thru facebook (as much as i have complained about the concerns i have with client anonymity from this) they think it is the best way to do it. I disagree but what do i know ? ANYWAYS...my point is I will probably have to create NEW avenues to reach my clients as well as advertise and that could mean MY OWN WEBSITE (if anyone out there is skilled at creating one with calendar, let me know...i would be interested) ALSO i am interested in hearing from YOU on recommendations of other sites to post on. AND please don't tell me rent men becuz that site is for a completely different clientele than what i'm interested in. I like clients that i can connect with and really help relieve their stress and tension. I had a profile on there and was not impressed. I know the new LAWs have evryone freaking out about their sites, and while there is nothing i can do to counter those fears i assure all of you that we can get thru this period of privacy invasion one day at a time. Please feel free to contact me if you see me in your area ...i am always eager to connect with new folks and also old ones TOO !!! thanks, namaste ~

'Privilege' is a package deal. White, male, heterosexual, cis, Christian (less so). You are more likely to understand it if you fall outside any one of those, and understand more the more of the boxes you don't tick. Still, unless you have thought it through, you are likely to take your level of privilege as the 'norm' and not see those elements of privilege that you have.

Last week with the #MeToo surge on Twitter, many cis heterosexual men had an epiphany. They hadn't realised how many of the women in their lives sexual harassment and sexual assault affected, and how the fear of it had a chilling effect on everything they did. To be fair, many women were shocked to find out what they thought they uniquely had faced was the lived experience of virtually all of the women they knew. I hope that this sudden realisation that their lived experience of a comfortable life with the male privilege their gender accorded them was not universal will make at least some of them consider that other forms of privilege exist and benefit them. It won't change the world, but progress is achieved one step at a time.
