First timer in Nice and hopefully not my last time. I saw La Cage Aux Folles both times but never knew how many gays are in this huge beautiful resort. Contrary to my expectations it's very upscale.Very warm. The central beach is potato sized rocks but great for sunbathing and swimming. The trendy Old City has a dozen gay bars snd a sauna or two. The guys are very cruisy and there's ten ads on RM and a couple dozen on Romeo Hunqz at a time. Many direct flights, even from NYC. A Paris by the Sea in style and food. Heres the gay bars and saunas in just Old Town:

Not going out tonight as we have an early flight to Vienna but from a pic I saw the weekend strippers at Glam by our hotel in the center are pretty hot. The rest of the many gay bars are in the Old City closeby.

Update. Le 6 on a wednesday had maybe a dozen customers at 11pm including 4 women. The bar has a shower stage but is only about 15 ft by 15ft. The manager told me shower shows are only Fri and Sat after midnight. Its in a chic straight area.

Surprisingly there are several gay clubs in Nice with strippers. It's a largely gay metropolis of a million or more and strippers are common in many of the gay bars. Last night I went by Glam close to my hotel and they had drags and strippers. Then I went by the Eagle and it has strippers and a sex room. Tonight Im going to try Le 6, famous for its shower shows and "friendly" strippers. Two near-misses today on the beachfront in Old Town toward the yacht port. A beefy big guy and another with pecs sticking a good hard 4 inches out shirtless. Maybe they'll be in the shower show. Here's the Eagle last night in the front room. Between sets dancing on the bar this guy was entertaining in the sex room. Sunglasses to preserve his anonymity, of course.

I'm over in Nice and Cannes with some of my Bel Ami friends June 12-20 and wondering if it's worth taking a weekend in BCN for Thermas. I can't find anything similar on the Cote d'Zur (except the French naval base at Toulon with 25,000 sailors and 5 gay bars and a gay sex club.---I'd only get in trouble). I always have a good (safe) time at Thermas.
