yes, but there are two groups and issues being lumped together. 1. some people need institutionalizing, or at least some supervision, for their own safety and well-being. 2. some people who know what's what want to live free without rules in a tent on the streets or in a park. even in cities like San Francisco or DC where there are plenty of beds in homeless shelters most people of both groups do not want them because there are rules and no alcohol or drugs allowed. and even for the sanest tee-tottler , shelters and the other people in them are not pleasant. living free in a tent in Balboa Park or by the beach is sweet. for years it was Orlando that attracted young people living in tents or out of cars because of the warm weather. more than a few guys turned to escorting. now it's a lifestyle of free lodging, and freedom to drink and smoke pot or other things as much as you want. TBH, those are folks we'd like gone asap. Their camps are unsightly and they steal from cars and from homes and people. but picking them out from the needy and from the mentally unstable is hard. the irony is that here in DC the federal government is pretty strict. after a few days on federal land the feds come in and dismantle and toss out any tents or squatters pronto. but DC won't touch any on DC land. there's also a rule that when temps go below a certain deadly level, people can be taken in from encampments by DC. i assume SF also has very lax rules on clearing camps on city property. but even if they were the sanest people around, they would not be welcome to encamp. certainly not in front of my house.

I liked the bar there (Drake's?) and never quite understood why more guys didn't hustle there rather than the street. But there were awfully goodlooking guys then. I remember the famous snackbar at the end of the strip but never picked anyone up there.

super hot guy. a little difficult to arrange but worth it.
-
It seems Filip Novak (Masseur Lewis etc) after being contacted by a member took all his photos off his RM ad. Filip can get very hard to make arrangements with but is 100% worth it. Here's hoping he doesn't disappear for a while again. Definitely a superstar and always in Prague Update: Filip has replaced the headless photos with ones with face. Good. He's a very handsome guy as well as one hell of a body. I've known him since 18 and he is a super nice guy. https://www.romeo.com/hunq/profimasseur_A "Sexy" Filip (Hornyboy020) is not answering ad responses for Prague. Those are very old photos on his ad and a couple mutual friends told me they think it's the agent in Zurich's ad. (I know Filip did use the agent when working Zurich). https://www.romeo.com/hunq/HornyBoy020 Pavel (Steve Saarsgard) is definitely in Zurich working and not home in Prague. He phones friends here a lot and I'll try to find out how long he's there. https://rentmen.eu/SteveSkarsgaard No word on whether "JohnnySweet" is really in Zurich but "Invictus3" is and super nice https://www.romeo.com/hunq/Invictus3 he has a very nice face btw:

thank you. is it better then to copy and paste a photo or to "choose files" and download from personal storage if i first copy to my storage then choose the file it seems it would be more secure than trusting other sites. sorry i don't know any of this.

TBH, in the American past many people were institutionalized for various bad reasons and motives. Revenge, powerful spouse, etc. And homosexuality was often top of the list. I guess the courts felt a need to establish a broad almost prohibition of institutionalization.
-
I know that here in DC people sleeping outdoors are only allowed to be forced into warming shelters when the temperature drops below a certain level below freezing such that almost anyone would die. The money is there. The people do not want the help and cannot be forced to take it constitutionally. In America people have the constitutional right to live free in the open if that's what they want and to decline help. Even if they're mentally incapable of most decisions.

1 word: Edwards Keep the S. Florida gourmet tartes and the Costco almost limeish sort of pies. Every good southerner knows: Edwards.
-
It is true that the cause was years ago when the courts ruled that people cannot be institutionalized or even detained against their will without extreme overwhelming proof of danger to themselves or others. They put the level of proof so high it's virtually impossible to reach. They were put back on the streets where they wanted to be. It's been the same since.

Well, Pavel phoned again and from what I can make out 2nd hand is he went to Zurich, by himself, to find an escort who took a lot of money from him and beat him. He's not with D and he also is not with the agent any longer. Czech escort drama. IDK when he leaves. He talks much faster than translator apps can work when he's excited. And he's always excited.

yes, the Prague thread. Yesterday I noticed most of the old photos are gone from most of it's 5 years. many of us miss those old pics of the Prague guys but I realize it's inevitable.
-
yes. there's plenty of mentions here and other places.
-
remember some people change more than others in 5 years.
-
Trying to think of what's good for a big 5th year anniversary like that. Arranging a meeting at Paragonya for a Round II? The good old days.
-
Pavel has been touring a lot the last year Brussels/Paris/Frankfurt/Dusseldorf/Munich even Singapore (with D) and really no Zurich. (he sometimes lets the agent use his ad there when he's home). (he complains about the agent and his 30% constantly but keeps him even though he speaks English well now). D tried Berlin a long time (months) but I'm not close at all and have to dm.
-
We'll probably talk to Pavel today like most days. Yesterday he didn't say anything about D. being there. I doubt Pavel will be there a week but may depend on business. I'll tell if I hear. I really doubt P will go to Paragonya, D maybe. Zurich has been slow. @Alfstoria was just there.

Both Pavel and evidently Dominik are visiting Zurich this week. This is a throwback to the days before covid when they together with several other Prague guys visited Zurich for long-term stays. Filip (HornyBoy02) isn't with them as they no longer get along and he works just at home in Prague instead of only in Zurich as he used to. There are many reviews of them all over and there were legendary posts about them at Paragonya. I know Pavel and Filip well and they are super nice. I think a lot of their pics I put up aged off from the thread and I should repost them. With Velvety also out of Prague just now, pickings are a little slimmer this week but Zurich finally has some worthwhile Czech visitors again. https://www.romeo.com/hunq/JohnySweet/travelling/12733265 https://rentmen.eu/SteveSkarsgaard

specifically on San Francisco, I remember fondly when I turned 18 and started spending weekends in the City as I was at UC Santa Cruz and there was a free bus up ("to use the library" at Berkeley lol). Most of my weekends were spent staying at the Embarcadero YMCA, which was basically a 7-story 24-hour orgy them. Concerts at the Fillmore by Hendricks, Janice Joplin and the Jefferson Airplane were weekly and it seemed every good-looking guy in the US was either staying at the Embarcadero or cruising the tenderloin and Folsom Street. I go back now, about yearly, and it's a whole new set of very boring people. Half tourists, half tech, with ignored vagrants everywhere. Of course, DC's no better now.

The 5% bougie class's kids are on a roll. When I was young a family had 2 kids to leave maybe $100K to. Now couples have 1 child and the 5% have a couple million minimum to leave to them. I think it's the norm now for even the 10% to have $1million for their child by 25. Around me every new owner is 27ish and their parents pay $2M cash for their house. Of course they have no intention of demeaning their life experiences by "working". There have been other broken societies where the 5 or 10% become dilettantes and worthless baggage instead of being the managerial and professional class as is their station. But the larger ownership class is in a recession now and their places will be taken by industrious and smart immigrants and 1st generation citizens from mostly Asian tech countries. And to the ruling class America is simply a geographic place of residence for worker bees enriching the world hive.

How is the new Elizabeth line compared to Heathrow Express that also goes to Paddington? Hopefully the HEx will come down in price now. I assume since it's new EL has lifts at least all all entrances. Many of the older Tube stations (Leiscester Sq) have neither lifts nor escalators and are horrible stairs for older or unfit people.

David Chiacek really is and is just 24 but as of yesterday he seems to still say he does not escort for money. Now big modeling jobs?
-
Believe me Daniel (his real name also) will not get triggered. Although for legal, contract, etc reasons he may well say he does not do that if asked too clearly. His anal operation has healed and he can bottom again now.

not very tech but noticed last night while going through old posts on the Prague site that most old photos and many fairly recent ones disappeared. Is there a time limit on photos and is there a difference in how long they stay if they are copy-and-paste vs downloaded by "choose files"? I assume it also matters where they were originally hosted. Thanks !

HornyBoy020 (Sexy Phil, Filip) lives outside Prague but for many years never worked there when home but only worked Zurich and never traveled elsewhere than long stays in Zurich. Most of the clients who talk of him connect him to Zurich and discussions of him are usually in Zurich. Since the pandemic he's been working just Prague but I'm sure he'll start visiting Zurich soon. I've known him for a long time and communicate with him some and his main clients are in Zurich.
