The thing in Zurich is there are several hotels just a block up from the Scheuble that are also 3 star (like the Basilee) but not as nice and the 3 star Alexander on the other side of Patagonya that is much more expensive but not as nice. The Scheuble is a class or 2 better but comparable or lower price. Why we Patagonya guys like it.

again, when going for these super-stealth cameras, dark plastic over the camera lens makes it too dark really for indoors. a Catch22. some of these don't have that cover and a normal cam out of it's holder is solid black and about silver-dollar size. I stick with the Yi brand from Amazon because of the size, interchangability with Ring outdoor housing, sd card slot, and how easily the cam comes out of the holder. It's software is also good. Not sure 1080p is better than 720p.

I can warn everyone the Ninja Amazon is always pushing dirt cheap is crap. Hard to clean, no blade at bottom, and not super powerful. I went back to my old Cuisinart blender/processor. Yep, I tried that cam. The problem with ones like that are they have dark shaded plastic over the cam making the vid dark. I mostly have mine out. By the time they see it a burglar would be saved online anyway and it should discourage burglars to see them everywhere. And it gets better vids of my #1 uncovered.

Hotel rooms would be much less likely. But houses or apartments......more likely everyday. I have security cameras in almost every room and yard. (They're like $25 on Amazon and take 10 minutes to hook up). I have signs on every entrance door warning of that. If I'm 5000 miles away I check them regularly and 3 days are recorded and downloadable on each one. I don't try to turn them off but do try to remember to cover the bed one when an escort comes over. My #1 knows and waves at the cams. It's just a fact of life today that security cams are everywhere. I would suggest asking if there is one and if so for it to be turned off or covered.

Sorry, I misspelled the name. It's Scheuble. It's still rated 3 star, and still priced as such, but just finished a complete high-tech remodel that to my mind is close to a 5-star boutique hotel. Similarly-priced hotels within a block of Paragonya are more ordinary but clean. One note on hotels in Zurich: taxis and Ubers are outrageously expensive and not very good. So you will actually spend more staying in a cheaper hotel in west Zurich or other close areas. (If you can manage the trains the high-rise Swisshotel in the Oerlikon neighborhood was also a decent experience. It's across the street from a train station and the main station in Zurich is not far from Altstadt, the main area. In summer Altstadt can get outrageously expensive).

I always stay at the LaConcha because of convenience, history and elite IHG upgrades. Rooms with patio balconies on the 2nd floor are especially nice. I always mean to stay at the Reach by Waldorf Astoria or one of the others on the beach at the south end of DuVal. Much nicer location and hotel. Avoid all the chains by the airport. Too far out. Food wise expensive. There's a place called Carolines midway on DuVal that's not too bad. There are often decent dancers at Bourbon Pub and available for private room lapdances. The Orleans House gay hotel is connected to the Pub and many gay porn movies are filmed there. Nude swimming pool. But I would not stay there ever. No way. Bicycles are a great way to get around and they rent for under $10 a day. Parking your car is hard and expensive.

I always stayed at the Alcron because it was Radisson and I had elite status with them. I always paid the lowest rate and got upgraded to the new mini-suites (beautiful!). I went by and asked and was told they are no longer recognizing any elite programs for upgrades. I stick to hotels where I get upgrades. As much as I like the Alcron I don't like that most rooms have zero views. Sorry there wasn't much to report this last Prague trip. I was with the same guys as last October and who visited me in DC December and January. Tomas Selak was too much trouble to meet with. Basically a high- ask for a blowjob with a condom. lol. I can highly recommend the Scheuble Hotel next door if you get a competitive rate. It's is high-tech newly remodeled and beautiful and trendy. Much better than the 3 star it gets. I've been in worse 5 stars. The two women at reception can be a little unhelpful but otherwise an outstanding place. I once got a senior rate of $200 at the Marriott but I doubt you'll get anything close to that normally. It is a high rise on the northend of old town with amazing views from the high floors (40 floors high)
