Probably safer than Rio. Medellin is very "Mexican". The tourist area is great. The downtown, especially the main street Oriental, is safe. The street from Oriental to Club Tobi is fine. People who go to the dangerous area ( west of the cathedral) should expect trouble.

Some of the guys here have hired locals as guides. I felt 100% safe everywhere but the rough area west of the cathedral.

You can get a security cam off Amazon for about $25. Get one that takes sd cards so you dont need to subscribe to a cloud. You'll have 3 days back saved and can download any part you want plus get motion alerts. Im sitting in Prague monitoring all my house and yards in DC on cam. I saw when my cleaning lady came in and when she left. I saw (and saved) my #1 having sex in my bed and the dining room (!) (He waved at the cam). Medellin doesnt have much tourist attractions other than weather. Prague is absolutely amazing. Stunning. Another wonderful thing is very fine 5 star hotels are often just over $100 in Prague. In NY, Paris, London or Zurich a decent 3 star is well over $200. More money for more guys.

Thx. I'll remember it. I'm staying in the old city for the first time. It's usually unbearable in tourist season. Im at the Intercontinental and my Czech bff's are in and out ( of the room) a lot. With the Alcron going independent theres no more elite upgrades to mini suites. I honestly love any room on Wes. Sq with a balcony most of the year. The Jalta's room 701 with its 16x16 ft balcony is amazing in warm weather. 5 star hotels in Prague are often $100 so I stick to them.

Love 'em as I do, Prague is really not especially cheaper. You're dealing with "International Porn Stars" and their prices. On average no more than 1/3 less than major city US prices, 200 vs 300. No. I may one day to see if my status with Radisson would carry over. I have noticed it's rates have dropped a lot. The old Sheraton Charles Square is now the Radisson Blu Prague.

Update. Arrived in Zurich. Global warming hasn't hit here yet..it's snowing. I highly recommend the Hotel Schueble next to Patagonya. Very cheap and the most modern artsy hotel I've seen. Exceptional design in the rehab.

Berlin has 4 hustler bars close to each other that are very crowded but beware for theft. Very few German hustlers in those bars, they are online. The going rate in Germany is the lowest in Europe.....70 to 100E. Gay Lab.Oraltory and adjacent Berghaim are the two top bars in the world. Wild nasty fetishes on display. Very exclusive at Berghaim. Berlin is much like Paris at less than half the cost.

Does the consumption of certain foods and spices produce a certain smell of sweat? I keep seeing this explanation but I've not noticed it. I have noticed certain people who seem to rarely bathe.
