1. In most states it's hard to evict someone legally whether they pay rent or not. An aversion to people being homeless in the streets. Also, I checked the pre-nupt thing when I was thinking of marriage. It's not always 100% enforceable. Again, states prefer not to have someone destitute. He may well have sued for divorce soon and sought to overturn the pre-nupt. Avoiding that is the silver lining.
2. Why always keep a spare. (He did).
3. Those are def not pics of Jake Ryan of DC who advertised for a long time.
4. Park Hyatt NYC. Floor-to-ceiling window walls facing Carnegie Hall, huge rooms, designer tubs in front of the window wall, separate shower in the bath. Screams money and taste. In DC the new Intercontinental at the Wharf. In Prague the Intercontinental in old town in winter. In summer a penthouse room with a patio at the Jalta. In Zurich the Marriott's 40th floor rooms with window walls facing old town and Lake Zurich. Any Motel 6 close to the front gate of a Marine base.
5. Sometimes you just need to show others how far you can swallow a banana
6. There used to be Club Baths all over the country. I had no idea one was still open.
7. his photo is in an empty cellar with an artificial Xmas tree......
8. Most escorts do not mind small penises. Small pay is more a consideration. The stereotype, true or not, is that certain south Asians have a certain body smell because of spices used in their cooking. Also daily or twice-daily showers are not a universal thing. But providers often extend that stereotype to all Asians. It's a prejudice they need to get over and deal with on a one-to-one basis.
9. Most do not long on. They put the ad on and then respond to emails and texts and calls. Why would they log on if they are not also clients?
10. I do know he only responds when he's in town and he does travel some.
11. Agree with most posters that Key West, while beautiful, isn't especially gay. It's very expensive now for hotels. The gay strip club (Bourbon Pub) is ok. PS is cheaper and more gay but an older crowd. There may still be some gayish places in Laguna Beach which would be a compromise in an excellent place. I'm east coast but really prefer the south Orange County beaches in the US. I live in DC and I suspect in Chicago you also have frequent short and very cheap flights to Fort Lauderdale. The airport is 10 minutes from me and therefore Ft. Lauderdale is 2 hours and 10 minutes from me. Fares can drop to incredibly low but usually are $100ish. Until Spring Break hotels in FLL are pretty cheap and the beach is great. Wilton Manors probably has more gay retired men than anywhere but it's mixed with a huge diverse gay community. And there are the 3 largest gay strip clubs with private "dances" in the US there. I consider Ft Lauderdale my weekend beach destination from DC.
12. In summer the Donovan House is nice because of it's rooftop gay pool. Otherwise hotels closer to Dupont Circle/West End/Georgetown are most walkable and interesting neighborhoods. A lot depends on budget as to specific ones but any in these neighborhoods should be fine. Capitol Hill is more remote (except for the annual leather festival at the Hyatt!). There are a couple very nice new hotels in the fairly interesting new Wharf complex on the river.
13. I've been with him several times but not in the past 6 months. Last week my Czech friend and I ran into him and his girlfriend at a store (she's a stripper). Of course I didn't say anything. Maybe because he was really "casual" he looked more disheveled and his t shirt seemed to show a bit of a tummie. Anyway, I'd def still do him and he is a very nice guy too.
14. For someone new who would never advertise it would work very well.
15. Nice thought but idk.
16. I think once a week is a common spread, especially with a regular. Of course that's the client who has the regular provider once a week. The provider often has several weekly clients. And even those who don't have a regular provider often seem to schedule once a week dates. Twice a week can be affordable too. Trice weekly is the top of most guys' budgets.
17. Escape is closed. I've had good luck lately at Up bar in the day time/afternoon. Many of the better guys are now gravitating to RentMen from Romeo/Hunqz. But they're more expensive on RM. I have the #1 Czech (my #3) here in DC for 2 more months (Roald Ekberg). His twin Dany_Dan is in Prague but may be joining us. I would say the best easily available in Prague right now is https://rentmen.eu/AestheticXdeo/ . By all means go to the Prague threads here and at BT. They are amazingly helpful and current.
18. I've been in warm locations at Christmas and sorry but the sleighs and sleighbells, the red fur Santa outfits, the reindeer, the snowmen, etc just don't fit in and the twinkling palm trees don't seem Christmasy. Sorry y'alls seasons are backwards.
19. I always thought the tradition of starting the Christmas season with the Christmas parades on or about Thanksgiving was a decent idea. One month for the "season" was fine. The new, longer Christmas season overlapping Halloween is just bizarre. The problem is Christmas just doesn't fit with warm season weather and looks odd, while ending it when the coldest weather hits is almost cruel, being dumped into dismal January. I like the old Russian Communist holidays of winter fest starting with New Years. Having a holiday/festival to dispel the gloom of the worst of winter makes more sense. (A lot more than skeletons in Santa hats in 80 degree weather). https://foreignpolicy.com/2016/12/30/how-soviets-came-to-celebrate-new-years-like-christmas-and-why-russians-still-do/
20. How long until surge pricing on weekends?
21. Certainly one of the most attention-getting lines on Rentmen. Great advertising.
22. Well, when you're (or claim to be) 5'6, a lot of things look bigger. Him being a top might take some special positioning.
