New York is not inexpensive, so I wouldn’t get ambitious and hit it to NYC with no back up plan or at the very least dipping your foot in the pool first. I’d suggest you come here and work for a week if your schedule permits and see how receptive the clientele are to you, and if you are comfortable working here. LA clients are not NYC clients. But per Kevin’s point, there’s something for everyone and from what I gather from your description, that’s marketable. Howev, you do have a lot of competition, check the headcount on how many active escorts there are in the city vs where you’re coming from.
1) Your goal is fully attainable (eventually) if you are consistent and you travel. Most escorts are not.
2) In-calls are imperative to your business, and if you cannot host, find a friend in apps like Hotel Tonight. A place above 100th is not unattractive to clients. It’s not the Bronx. I think Kevin’s suggestion of living in HK from the jump is also ambitious for someone is just starting out escorting. Seek something more affordable until you have some footing and then consider HK or you’ll be right back on a plane to LA.
3) Until you have regulars, your appointments may be as reliable as the weather here in NYC. A lot of my fellow escorts who are prominent and have a large following from porn see dry-spells on occasion, simply because of...oversaturation. I think you’ll do very well once you make your debut here but after months/years in the same location, it just may not be as lucrative as traveling from city to city where you can garner a new client base and make more money simply because you’re unfamiliar. Time is money and sitting at home twiddling your thumbs waiting for the phone to ring isn’t going to pay that HK rent.
4) be honest. If you’re bold enough to be doing what you do, you should be bold enough to explain the truth. If you’re going to do it....do it. Who cares.
I hope I didn’t discourage you or sound negative but I want to be realistic with someone who is new to this. You have a reputation and clientele to build.
