  1. Let’s see how being salty works for you in 10-20 years when you sound even more ridiculous. One, A tattoo is not just a permanent sticker, champ. It is an aesthetic that you adopt, and the longer you have it, the better your presentation because you know what works with the aesthetic and what does not. Shirts also have SLEEVES, surprise. Also, per your “20 years from now” nonsense, one of the most fashionable (and in my opinion very handsome) older men in the fashion industry is covered in tattoos and he looks great. Just because it’s something that you can’t do, or pull off doesn’t mean it’s awful. I’m not mad at you nor resentful for your aesthetic being boring. So. http://www.executivestyle.com.au/content/dam/images/1/1/9/p/3/4/image.gallery.galleryLandscape.620x414.119p6j.png/1414064271762.jpg http://i3.wenshen520.com/38693.jpg
  2. If anyone does keep a personalized record of their clients, my advice would be to ensure the commentary only makes sense to you just in case for whatever reason, someone ever gains access to your phone, email account or laptop.
  3. That’s not everyone’s motive for getting a tattoo, sunshine. Lord. How many members are from the backwoods??
  4. Boom, exactly. Merci beaucoup. In summary. This thread is comprised of the client who does not book, it’s simple. We wouldn’t even be having this conversation if you weren’t wasting people’s time. This is a window shopper issue, not that of clients who don’t pussyfoot around. It’s just humorous to me that people create these post so BAFFLED as to why someone blocked them. Because you aren’t spending any money, hello. lol. I’m sure if any of you went into a strip club frequently and the staff and the boys caught wind that after numerous visits you were not buying a cocktail, tipping the boys, hell, throwing the restroom attendant a dollar for handing you idk, a towel and stick of bubblegum, eventually..your cheap ass would not be welcomed, period. What would you say? “Oh, well, I’m shy” or “sometimes I just like to look frequently before making a decision.” You would swiftly be standing outside the venue doing exactly what you’re doing now..twiddling your thumbs.
  5. It’s non-existent (the street scene). You have many clientele circling the seedy video shops that have held on, but that’s about it. And the escorts that dwindle in these environments are eh, well...I’d hope one would aspire for better. You can venture into the dingier sides of town (Port Authority), some areas in Brooklyn, or Christopher St but you’re shooting in the dark and also risk getting your ass beat lol. The need to cruise the streets for clients in 2019 is dead, and if it’s still occurring, anywhere...it’s definitely homeless trade and you definitely need to be careful. But I realize that’s where the allure lies for some of you.
  6. Money that was accumulated elsewhere by clients who actually reach out. Which are far more plentiful than those twiddling their thumbs. Blocking someone whose wacking off to your ad or deliberating is not a big financial blow for us baby, I assure you. Lol.
  7. Thank you.
  8. Here in Paris there is no A/C. I was able to dodge the heatwave that rolled through Europe a few weeks ago, but on most days with all the windows open in the apt, it’s actually quite nice.
  9. Hey there, Unfortunately, there are few places for an escort to advertise in contrast to what was available a few years ago. Rentmen has become the go-to, but in a city like New York advertising can become expensive if you want prime visibility (i.e. banners, Platinum Boost, contributor ads) or you risk getting lost in the sea that is hundreds upon hundreds of active escorts. The market has changed significantly in New York so it requires quite a bit of work. There is also A4A but I wouldn’t recommend it. If you specialize in massage, you should also check out MasseurFinder. This forum is also a great resource, not only for advice but for building clientele, it just require you engage regularly. Simply put a link to your ad in your profile. Good luck.
  10. I have a fade and am considering going bald or buzz cut for the summer. It’d be a stern yes from me but I am not in the U.S.
  11. @Gymowner That’s not always the case. Many can attest that drugs gave them “the best years of their lives,” because not everyone has an addictive personality or depency issues, everyone doesn’t react to stressors the same way, everyone’s reasoning for drug use is individual, and not everyone’s brain is wired the same way. Some people can be in the thick of drug use, remove themselves and be fine, for others it’s not that simple. Additionally, some of the most beloved creatives were addicted to drugs. Per your point, the outcome is usually grim but we wouldn’t have some of the most iconic books, music and art had it not been for drugs.. if you think about it. Because “curiosity killed the cat.” Drugs are also very much glamorized in the media. But your question can apply to so many things. Why do people begin smoking cigarettes? (Cancer) or eating fried foods (heart disease) or become professional boxers (brain damage) and the list goes on and on. People, well versed on the outcome of their poor decisions don’t always want to rob themselves of the temporary (and very significant) joys associated with these vices..when the “game of life” is already fucked up anyway.
  12. That’s another forum topic in itself. Everyone’s reasons are individual.
  13. ..And functional families produce addicts.
  14. I’d love to know what the original post said.
  15. We’re not talking about a retail store, puppy shop or patisserie, however. If you are an escort and someone has viewed your profile 30+ times with not such much as a “hello, I really enjoy your photos” or “I hope to one day meet you” and you even take the initiative to say hello (as they may be shy) to no avail and yet they continue to view your profile like clockwork.....you’re just ringing the doorbell and running away at this point. You are blocked, period. This client is not serious about booking. He may be utilizing my profile to get off, awesome...his money, his prerogative. But I certainly am not paying for an ad just to get beat off to. I am paying for an ad to get booked, and if I feel someone is wasting my time, I will rightfully block that individual. And I always make the effort to at minimum engage before I do so. And I think that’s fair. But I agree with some of the above sentiments that a provider blocking a potential client after two views is aggressive. A big part of our work is filtering out who is serious and who is not and some do it more aggressively than others.
  16. ..that’s for me to decide. My business practices have warranted me a great deal of success and when I feel I am in the wrong business, I will gracefully bow out. Until then...
  17. Hahahaha don’t temmmpt me.
  18. Shouldn’t he be taking that up with me? If anyone at all. Thank you? lol
  19. Out of the nearly 500 posts I’ve made, the number of “thumb downs” I’ve given I can count on one hand. That hardly signifies my lack of ability to accept views that differ from my own (as they usually do). You are also a follower of mine and have read many a post, so...please, spare me. A dislike is hardly a death sentence, I think he’ll be okay.
  20. But then you can’t see the best part, the videos (grins devilishly).
  21. It’s friendly, it’s simple, but reads a bit like a resume. I have read this profile many times over elsewhere. Elaborate on what sets you apart from the rest. It could be more personable.
  22. Before we even get into the treacherous territory that is the world of sex work, sexual minorities are already twice as likely to have substance abuse issues in contrast to the heterosexual population, due to increased stressors. I do not think sex workers are more prone to mental health issues more than the next person but I do not feel you should be in the thick of the business or even step into the business if you have existing or underlying mental health issues you have not even so much as began to treat/work on. Sex work can be very dark work. It is mentally taxing and extremely demanding. I think a lot of young men get involved and have no exit strategy and when the money and attention dwindle, they began to feel discarded and panic because their life goes from feast to famine very quickly. Then they’re thrown into a panic and it becomes, “well what am I doing and what am I going to do?” And like any line of work, when the money is no longer good, and when you’re no longer receiving those accolades.. people begin to indulge in their vices. Slippery slope. You also have the escort who dabbles in substance abuse to work more efficiently and earn money very quickly, not realizing (or overlooking) the long term damage and the ominous times to come. It’s all very counterintuitive and that’s why you see so many escorts in cities like New York and LA becoming increasingly strung out. Now insert the client who will effortlessly drop thousands for a PNP session, and then drug use and quick money go hand in hand. It’s all a recipe for disaster. My biggest frustration, however, is that conversations about this should be happening regularly but they only happen when someone very attractive dies. It’s never in the headlines until someone beautiful has collapsed at a party or overdosed on Chaturbate that it’s then a hot button topic. It should be an ongoing conversation, all the time.
  23. A lot of clients completely fill out their profile and advertise what they are seeking in a potential provider. I think many assume the platform works one way, but we can actually search for providers and reach out if we feel we fit the role a potential client is seeking. Some clients are shy and won’t contact us first, but rather just put everything out there and wait for the escort to reach out to him. It’s essentially a job posting. It’s always interesting to hear different variations of how people use the platform. And while I do not base my availability on personal appearance, it’s refreshing to see client profiles filled out and with a handful of photos. We aren’t often afforded the opportunity to know or see anything about those hiring us, so it’s nice to be able to put a face with a name when it does happen. I take clients with at least some content in their profile way more seriously than those with a completely blank one. Even if it’s “Hello, 40 something professional seeking...” etcetera, etcetera. I think more clients filling out their profile would also save a lot of time per the “what’re you looking for” dialogue that can sometimes be a lengthy process.
  24. I do not think stealing the identity of another for personal gain is ok. There are ways to navigate advertising if discretion and safety are your concern. He could easily find stock photos of an aesthetic that were representative of his own before stealing the identity of someone else without permission. And you would not be reviewing truthfully. If you’re using RM, most users cannot see the text feedback you’ve provided or know how. So unless you’re going to give him 5 stars and answer “No.” per the “Does he look like his photos?” question, your review is equally as fraudulent as his business practices .
  25. It is not unusual. I am not above blocking a client whose view count is exceptionally high, but I only do this when the provider has said absolutely nothing to me, even after I’ve said hello and introduced myself. Because at this point you’re just peeping through the bushes, and I don’t like that.
