' 'Technically', I think of this as a 'guinea T'. Different from a classic wife-beater.

On the internet, when people type a period after each word in a sentence as if to emphasize everything. Oh. My. God. I. sincerely. hate. that.

For me, nothing announces one's curmudgeonliness to the world like one who gripes about the young 'uns who say 'no problem' instead of 'you're welcome'.

Many many years ago I saw the one and only porn star Phil Bradley working as a clerk in Tower Records on Sunset Blvd. I bought a CD I had no intention of buying, just to have him make change and place it in my hand! (I didn't wash that hand for months! - jk)

These pictures are old; but I have seen more recent photos of him slimmed down a bit and he looked like a leading man movie star. I think his weight yo-yo's a bit. He cleans up real nice when his beard is trimmed. Either way, I find him hilarious.

An amazing collection. Even without including the man who for a long time was (arguably) considered the most handsome of all...Cary Grant. http://27.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_ly09ueI1Na1rnojy1o2_500.jpg

I thought $300.00 is the normal going rate in this day and age - at least in a big market like LA. I don't notice a lot of ads for less than that. Or, I should say, the ads that interest me rarely dip below $300.00.

Airline Passenger Telling It Like It Is!!-Passenger Grumpiness!!!
Boink replied to + Gar1eth's topic in The Lounge
>>Very simply, it is a perk for frequent flyers. Delta boards in order of 1) anyone needing special assistance (which should be wheelchairs & baby carriages but is abused at times), 2) first class and diamond medallion, 3) skymember premium plus those who've paid extra for a "comfort" class seat, then, zones 1, 2, etc. It's one of the few free things they can offer frequent flyers (as opposed to a free upgrade to first which they can instead sell to a coach pax for dollars or points). Logistically it is a little backwards since the groups who board first tend to be toward the front and on the aisles but getting on early gives you a much better shot at the much-coveted overhead bin space.<< Thanks for the interesting answer. But...but...it is a LOT backwards and it is absolutely the reason for congested aisles. -
Airline Passenger Telling It Like It Is!!-Passenger Grumpiness!!!
Boink replied to + Gar1eth's topic in The Lounge
One of the many delightful aspects of flying in this day and age has kept me perplexed since the airlines started implementing it. When flying coach, one's boarding pass is assigned a 'group number', based on God only knows what. Then, "we will begin boarding Group 1" then "...Group 2..." etc. WHY - in the name of all that is holy! - do they not begin boarding the plane with the poor chumps (like me) who are sitting furthest in the back???????????!!!!!! That way...DUH...people won't be crawling all over each other trying to get to their seats!! -
Am I The Only Who Is Surprised: Zsa Zsa Gabor is Still Alive?
Boink replied to + WilliamM's topic in The Lounge
Eva seemed to have a sweetness about her that Zsa Zsa lacked. I also think she displayed a lot of comedic acting skill on Green Acres. Her grave stone is touching... http://findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=1337 Regarding Merv Griffin, they are showing his old shows on the GET-TV Network. The old black and white episodes can be fascinating. Last week they had an episode from the mid 1960s with a young-ish Phil Specter as guest. He was every bit as creepy and weird with bad hair as he is now. He even told some anecdote about pulling a gun on someone! -
May I touch your pooch? Dogs, the ultimate dick-magnet.

Number 21 is a hunky dog trainer named Brandon McMillan; he has a weekly show on CBS Saturday mornings called Lucky Dog... https://www.facebook.com/CBSLuckyDog/ -
Wow, I never thought John Wayne could be considered attractive physically in any way shape or form - until I saw that picture!

I hardly ever watch NBC nightly news, and I only vaguely knew who Thomas Roberts is. I just happened to catch his newscast the other day and I am shocked to read this was his first time in the anchor chair. FLAWLESS is probably the best word to describe his performance. Beyond flawless, really. I will be tuning in regularly now. (I never liked Brian Williams anyway, but I do like Lester Holt, too.)

POLL: Which Jonas brother would you take to bed?
Boink replied to marylander1940's topic in Legacy Gallery
I once saw the dumb show HOT IN CLEVELAND where they had a cutie playing the son of Valerie Bertinelli. I googled him and found out he was Joe Jonas. I'd heard of the group, but otherwise knew nothing about them. For me, Joe has the cutest face by far, but nowhere on the internet did I see any pics anywhere close to the body displayed in the picture on this thread. It does look heavily 'enhanced'. He's still a cutie, though. The other two do nothing for me. -
Gas Prices in Your area, Let's hear about it.
Boink replied to Talvin DeMachio's topic in The Lounge
One thing that drives me crazy about these new low gas prices is clearly illustrated in a single newspaper page I saw a few weeks ago. Big headline story at the top of the page chronicling the new lower prices. Then, a little further down the page...a separate article about the sales of fuel efficient cars plummeting. Then, a little further down to the left, an article about the surging sales of big SUVs, trucks, and other gas guzzlers. Now, wouldn't owning a fuel efficient car AND having lower gas prices (however temporary) be a win-win situation? When will this gluttonous country ever learn? -
'Kids React To....' is a great series. Similarly, check out 'Elders React To...'

I saw him a few times on live cam on the Randy Blue website. It stuck me that he always seemed to have a perturbed, unfriendly quality about him. His answers to questions from guys on the board could be very curt. (And this was not just a one time viewing.) Of course, I'm sure some of the wacko's in that chat room can be agitating, but still...
