Ahhhh.....Summer! This past summer was a blast for me. Usually I'm more of a winter person. Snow bound in Aspen....is my idea of Heaven. This Summer I promised to embrace the Joys of Summer. I grilled local fish outside for dinner at least 5 times a week. I went to the beach and swam in the ocean for an hour at least twice a week. I swam laps in my pool for an hour at least 4 times a week. I lost 20 lbs and got back into a Speedo for the first time in over 5 years. I made sure there was sand in my hair, my ears, my shower, and my bed every day. I got tan lines to match my Speedo. A few weeks ago I was talking to a Life Guard buddy by the Life Guard stand..... and someone walked up and asked me if I was a Life Guard! For the first time in many years...I felt ALIVE during summer! I'm am very sad to see it go.....but BRING ON THE SLOPES!
