  1. I don’t think I’ve had orange juice in 25 years. It’s one of those things, like pasta, that I’ve lost a taste for. But you make a good point.
  2. I think that makes sense after one has established a great rapport with the provider. When I’ve done that on the first meet-up, it hasn’t generally been a great experience for me. Also, since I’m a light sleeper, I often get two queen beds since I’m not into cuddling. Even when regulars stay overnight at my place, I put them in the guest bedroom with its en suite bathroom. Surprisingly, some spur of the moment overnights are gratis since the provider is happy not to drive late at night and gets to enjoy a well-appointed guest room with a great mattress and bed linens.
  3. I’ve never encountered this. (OK, maybe once or twice). I’m either lucky or discerning. Or they just enjoy their time with me.
  4. Not in the two places I call home. $300 for one and $500 for two. And I’m speaking super lean and cute 21-27 year olds.
  5. My nephew and his wife saw a practitioner in Bucks County PA recently for a few sessions of visceral manipulation, where the practitioner performs an intense quasi-massage to properly reorient internal organs. The results are amazing. I hadn’t heard of this osteopathy-grounded modality before, but now I’m interested. Has anyone tried this? The Barral Institute WWW.BARRALINSTITUTE.COM
  6. Funny diversion: more than a few times black women have asked me or friends if my eyes are really as blue as they are. Perhaps they thought I was wearing contacts! I love when that happens.
  7. I believe the first two are roommates.
  8. Packin!
  9. Sometimes it can come across as white normative to pry about backgrounds. It can be a minefield. As others have stated, it’s not the ideal conversation starter. That said, I’m a pretty good judge of some accents, and occasionally will ask if the person is from Ukraine or Poland, for example, and the person often beams with joy that I recognized their accent correctly.
  10. I think many of us prefer a small cadre of regulars for the reasons you’ve mentioned. So far this year I’ve only been seeing one regular and our relationship has grown into a combination of off-the-clock adventures and occasional on-the-clock ones. That said, I’m checking out two new providers this week who I’ve had my eyes on. A little variety and additional regular options are good to have.
  11. I wonder if these three know each other? I had to look up Paducah to determine its precise location. 12. 26? Hmm.
  13. He does indeed.
  14. In addition to his versatility, he’s also quite fetish- and kink-friendly.
  15. Not sure he’d be described as a twink, though.
  16. Good point. There is an obscure “Romanist” “high church” variant of Lutheranism with Holy Eucharist every Sunday and making the sign of the cross. Especially in the state churches of Scandinavia, where they still retain the essence of the Mass and are headed by archbishops.
  17. Under German occupation.
  18. OMG! Perfect sultry blond!
  19. He’s my dream date. $1,000 per hour: no problem. Especially drenched in sweat on a humid night!
  20. On the other hand, monks in Eastern Orthodoxy practice celibacy. Back in 2018 I went on a long bike ride from Belgrade across the Danube into the Serbian countryside and we met a few monks at an ancient Serbian Orthodox monastery and I learned that little fact.
  21. How about the Faroe Islands? He could start the House of Hewitt.
  22. There’s no biblical support for it. It was implemented in the Roman Church in the 12th century mainly because the church didn’t want married priests to be leaving inheritances to children and wives, rather than the church. In Eastern Orthodoxy, priests are often required to be married, so as to set a familial model for their communities. In the Roman Catholic Church today there are a few exceptions. Priests of the Uniate or Greek Catholic Church have always been permitted to marry. Also, male priests from denominations that practice Apostolic Succession, i.e. Anglicans/Episcopalians and certain Lutherans, can become ordained Catholic priests while keeping their wives.
  23. If I could get over my squeamishness, I’d happily join you. I know just what I’d wear!
