Doing box jumps in another great way to gird yourself against falls. I do a lot of hiking, and although I occasionally hit a rock or root, I’ve never fallen.

What a dystopia. Sad, because Philadelphia punches above its weight in many ways, but the violence is now so unpredictable and random. I was born in Bryn Mawr and went to the city all the time for first-run movies, etc. I’m sure there are still safe areas of the city, like Society Hill, Old City, perhaps the area west of Rittenhouse Square. I believe East Falls, Manayunk, parts of South Philly and, certainly, Chestnut Hill are still fine.

Unfortunately, most of the resorts are already booked and the room rates are astronomical. That said, I may be able to attend, but I’ll probably be relegated to a Marriott property.

He graduated from Germantown Academy, a posh Philadelphia prep school. He can pull off a great “Philly” accent, which you can find on YT. He’s one of my favorite actors and I can’t wait to see his new Leonard Bernstein portrayal.
