Boys will be boys

I still have plenty of social interaction, with distancing. Every Friday evening, my urban neighborhood has a small social distancing cocktail party, which has brought us all closer together. Virtually all of my neighbors and the majority of people I see are under 40. I can’t imagine weeks of isolation without any social interaction. It sounds devastating to one’s mental health. I also regularly do a Zoom session with a cute guy from New Jersey, who had never considered it before I reached out to him with the idea. For his birthday last week I sent him an H&M faux leather biker jacket to replace one that he had lost. Also sent him a soft leather jockstrap which he poses in for me. One has to think out of the box these days.

That’s a little too Stasi for me.

I’m feeling the same away about convertibles. I have my eye on a 2018 A5 cabriolet with 6,400 miles on it and priced below KBB. Dealers are desperate to get rid of pre-owned inventory right now.

I was there 21 years ago and had a blast! Was invited to a party in a fantastic house owned by an architect “south of Broad”. I’m not sure why I haven’t been back.

With the warm weather I’m enjoying the sight of young men’s tanned legs and feet. I’ve also been seeing x-country teams running shirtless on the bike trails. Viva the warmer weather!

I hear you. As I mentioned earlier, I’m fortunate that the owner of my neighborhood x-fit has a lavishly equipped garage gym, which I use 3x week. I’ve ordered a bunch of stuff from Rogue, but the back-orders are dispiriting. I lent a very cute neighbor my 35 lb kettlebell and another friend my beloved 1995 Trek MTB. Once the Rogue order is filled, I’ll just continue working out at home.

I have a flight to Seattle on the 28th on Alaska. I think it should be fine. Other than that, little air travel planned for the rest of 2020.

If that happens, we’re going to see some real fireworks.

I’m very sorry to hear of your mom’s death. It’s a sobering reminder of why caution is the watchword.
