I used to buy those mags in the 80’s at the liquor store across the street from the Boom in Laguna. There was also a gay video store in South Laguna at the time where I first rented two Peter Berlin titles on VHS. One time the cute clerk giggled when he rang me up and I asked why? I worked as a lifeguard from 15 to 18 at the community pool and had some amusing overtures from some women and men alike, which I just laughed off.
