Vague early memories: My parents had an apartment in Narberth PA, on the Main Line. The landlord’s name was Abel. I remember being chastised for trying to eat a piece of butter. Maybe 2? I also remember my 2nd or 3rd birthday party. We were wearing those conical hats. I clearly remember arriving at our first house just after I’d turned 3. I was sitting in the front cab of the moving truck with my father. Finally, I remember getting anesthesia at Chestnut Hill Hospital when I had a hernia repair at the age of 4. The nurse asked me if my mommy drank coffee. I said yes. Then she asked me if I’d like some, and I said sure. She then placed the ether cone over my face. I remember being happy during puberty when hair covered that scar!

Was that Thurman Philoon by any chance? Re the moon landing, we watched it on vacation in Beach Haven NJ on a B&W TV.

Did we have an re the dates for April 2023? It’s probably not to early for a procrastinator like me to start making plans!

My last visit was in December 2014 when my sister and I attended La Traviata. I’d like to visit this fall.

I’ve been lucky so far, but I’ve dramatically reduced my participation in this hobby and only see a few long-time providers anymore. When I lived in SoCal, I invited far too many newbies to my house. I also recently had a terrifying loss of consciousness and myriad tests and specialists concluded that it wasn’t a seizure, TIA, stroke, etc., so I now worry about it recurring during a session. It was deemed idiopathic.

7 years ago they confiscated an expensive tube of Zenagen shampoo. I’ve packed other things over 4 oz., but they’ve let them through in pre-check.

I plan to be there next April.

Neither did mine, but I know how it curtailed many people’s normal workout and exercise routines. The diabetes numbers are awful. The American diet doesn’t help. Makes me wonder if the insulin companies covertly fund the bagel shops.

Filled up my SQ5 yesterday at Kroger at $4.63/gallon. Not bad.
