Inflation is not 40% which is about the increase from 350 to 500  And cost of living in NYC is tied to inflation so you are conflating that.  He is not asking for a discount, he merely is inquiring as to why the increase.  Supply and demand is not likely the case as there are just as many escorts in NYC as there were three years ago, perhaps more.  So the reason that the price has gone up is because some people are willing to pay that much.  He is not one of them for fuck's sake.  Perhaps you are and if so, bless your heart.

I met him recently. The vibe I got via text was more so direct rather than rude. I thought ok it’s his business and he just wants to close the appointment. I paid the deposit he requested after seeing his very lengthy menu of services. I thought he would be different in person. 
 
When I met him, he was so cold, stand-offish and rude. There was zero connection or chemistry. He’s not a nice guy. It felt like his mind was on a different planet, or perhaps back in France, he wasn’t present or engaging.

Verdict: hire a different masseur. 

He’s terrible. If you can finally get a response that he’s available for a booking, he has no problem delaying in sending his address, changing the time, and up charging during the session.
