When you find a regular and you are satisfied by the repeat experience, there is nothing better. That is my preference. You have to make sure the boundaries that your are both comfortable with are in place for a repeat - I've had some unfortunate experiences where those boundaries were not respected and it soured the relationships. You can probably guess what I am referring to; becomes too clingy, becomes entitled, etc. Similar to @natmas02, I usually only search for a new companion when I am traveling.
