  1. I have been blocked for leaving a one star review for two porn stars on RentMen. I have also been blocked one additional time by someone who initially booked time with me, but was not able to keep their time and had conflicts with my availability for a rescheduled meeting. He would not stop messaging me with their availability everyday that week. He should have kept the original appointment and not wasted my time. On his final night in town I think he was desperately trying to book appointments, so when he contacted me that day, I informed him of my schedule constraints and said I would consider the possibility if he still had open availability that evening. I made it clear that there was no guarantee and I would contact him after 5pm, that evening. He sent several follow up messages stating that he had bookings lined up and he needed a confirmation (amatuer closing tactic). I replied to one of his aggressive messages, “look, I understand your desire versus my need, but I have a business to run, not much unlike yours. I cannot accept another interruption. If waiting to hear back from me after 5pm is not acceptable, I understand. You should take bookings and not hold any time on my behalf, I will have to pass.” I always book when I am ready to book, without hesitation or numerous interactions. However, since he solicited me, he should have been respectful of my time. After all, he overbooked earlier in the week and could not keep my initial time. So, to make a long story longer, I contacted him with a time and he said he had 9:00pm open for the duration I requested. We confirmed, I tidied up and got ready. I sent a communication at 6:30pm with directions to the location where we would meet prior to going to my place. No response. Time passed and it was now 7:30pm and still no response. So, I shrugged it off as probably another client booking. At 8pm, no response. At this point, I emailed and sent a another text, no response. At 8:15pm I called and left a voicemail and sent a text; email. No response. I at 8:30pm, I sent a message stating that I was going for a late dinner and expected him to be a no show at that point, so forget about it. There was no way possible he would be able to beat the Boston traffic and make it from his Quincy hotel to my place in Back Bay within 30 minutes. At 8:50pm, I received a message communicating that he went to the gym and had dinner and fell asleep after taking a shower. I did not respond. He called a couple times and pleaded his case. Then he text a few additional times. I replied with a curt message, basically saying goodbye, no bueno. He cursed me out via text and said that is why he hates booking time with minorities. I learned a valuable lessons that day......I still cannot understand how minorities caused him to miss his appointment twice. Perhaps it was a subconscious issue and a gift to me after all. He blocked me. Thank goodness!!

  2. What I read here is that you think that escorts are being paid to do a job and that the rate we ask is fair for us to do that job without needing or expecting a tip. I agree with you.

At the end, you stated "stop deluding yourself that they actually care." I just want you to know that I care. I do this work because I care about other human beings and this is work that matches well with my skill set and passions. There might be some folks who don't care, and that's OK - there are TONS of us who do.

And that is why Eric Hassan is highly praised for his skill and ability to connect with his clients. Friendships can be attained and most of us would like to have repeat experiences with someone we trust. Loyalty is the key ingredient to building a successful brand. No wonder why so many of the unprofessional types change profile names and come on and off the scene so quickly. If you are in it to just make a quick buck and deliver average experiences, your career will be short lived.

  3. Why shouldn’t you expect to pay a little more if someone makes a housecall to you and adds additional time to his work day ... I’m not sure you really thought that one through.

If you agree to pay $400/hr for an outcall versus going to the escorts place for $350/hr, do you think you should pay more than the $400, inclusive of the surcharge? That is what was meant by “tip should be included in the rate.” Which is the same as, “what is your outcall rate?” Is it appropriate for the escort to then ask you for a tip or mention it? I think you read my post quickly. I will make it really clear: When you book, the provider should give an ALL INCLUSIVE RATE for outcall, wine, extra linens, airfare, chocolate body paint, or whatever you request. Otherwise, in my opinion, it is the same as a client trying to shortchange or renegotiate the escorts rate, upon arrival. Both are in poor taste. Be clear up front, so everyone has a positive experience. Otherwise, it gets messy and turns into a bazaar.

  4. Some clients tip and some don't.

Yes you should pay more to host because it takes time for the escort to get to you, that's why outcalls are more expensive than incalls.

@marylander1940 To clarify: Of course you will pay more for an outcall, but add an Uber on top of the inflated charge? That is ridiculous! Some providers request the expected upcharge for an outcall and have the nerve to request car service, in addition to their outcall rate.

That's a good reason to tip, someone gives a better than expected service.

Superior client? This ain't frequent flyer, you don't get Subway tokens for a discount later, unless you hire him a few times a month and the 2 of you agree something like this.

@marylander1940 Perhaps you selected a few of my posts to “rant,” but if you reread them, you have taken them out of context. I agree with you. The point I made was related to service delivery. If your time is $300. The time should be worth $300. There should be no expectation of a tip. “Expectation” is the key word. A client is entitled to do as they please. However, if service is subpar, a client is not going to pay less.

Have you underpay/stiffed any escorts? Sounds like you're suggesting that.

@marylander1940 I have never negotiated, nor have I shortchanged anyone. The sentiment is noted in my statement. Once again, the point is: you should receive good service for the rate paid. Am I wrong for making this assumption? On the other hand, if you have a poor experience, the client takes the loss.

I never heard of someone asking for a tip in advance. They just want to get paid X for their service.

Amateur: some would call them fresh, not jaded. Btw I only hire professionals but I'm sure all of them at one point in their lives were amateur. We all had a day 1 in many jobs.

@marylander1940 I would hope that the gentlemen here also hire professionals. Why else would we spend our time sharing if we only hired hooligans? Thanks for playing.

I don't know about escaping... but unless is late at night and the client looks wasted there's no excuse to ask for upfront payment.

  5. The tip should be included in their price. This is just like escorts charging more for an outcall and then asking you to Uber them to you. That is ridiculous. I should pay more to host?

Tipping was a learning curve for me. I have learned better as I have inquired about things in the forum and worked with good providers. Sometimes, I ask, what do I get for being a superior client? You should receive outstanding or superior service for the escort’s fee. Some do not deserve their full fee and some are not priced according to their experience.

A good warning: if someone even mentions a tip in advance, they are an amateur and you are destined for a bad experience. Mark my words. Almost guaranteed. Similarly, those who ask for payment up front. They have a plan to escape halfway through the exercise.

  6. Probably much ado about nothing?

It is so wild to me how jaded we have become over the RM review system. With all the resources they have, they give us pure crap. I know some of us go fishing out there and contact reviewers to get their feedback. I have learned from being in the forum that one should not be too eager. That is when mistakes happen: overpayment, poor experience, etc. I tend to simply wait it out. I value forum feeds more than any other source. If enough dialogue is generated, once can generally make a well informed decision. AND sometimes that decision can be a disappointment.

  7. And maybe the guy is a regular that they met on their own and not a site. Many gogo dancers, strippers etc escort. He could have wanted to start advertising and asked the client to get the ball rolling when he first started out advertising.

Sean mentioned using different outlets for marketing. I think joining RentMen is a serious commitment. The monthly fee is nothing to balk at when you are a rookie. Which is why we see so many guys have a big splash when they sign up and they are thinking bright lights/big future, too. Then, suddenly, their profiles expire lapse for a variety of reasons. It is a life filled with many stressors. I am grateful to have joined the forum and to learn from the “grown folk” and “the masters.” It has helped me make better choices and it helped me understand the complexity of this world of companionship. Now, I help those who are open to feedback and want to improve, as well as those who may be blindsided by what they are missing. So, thanks gents for helping all of us.

  8. Oh. Okay. I didn't see a "See All Reviews" button when I was there before for whatever reason (though I did look). I guess we're back to "time travel"...

It looks like Sean is picking up some positive mileage there. It takes a time for the new ones to fine tune their marketing message and service offering/delivery. But once they do, they end up like the best of the best of the members here in the forum. I invited Sean to join for that reason alone. It helps to give everyone a voice, including the provider. I am sure some would agree that escorts and masseurs who join, participate, and work to improve their craft tend to flourish. They put a lot of effort into their business. God bless them each and everyone. And God bless America.

  9. Do not forget that many reviews on Rentmen are just self-posted reviews. Every other escorting guy has couple of “client” accounts in his arsenal. Sometimes they even pay for premium “client” accounts to seem more well-reviewed

David, this is true. Many of the escorts who travel together in groups have premium accounts and post for each other. Hell, perhaps I should offer my services as a premium reviewer for a preview of time spent on an introductory interview or massage.

  10. And maybe the guy is a regular that they met on their own and not a site. Many gogo dancers, strippers etc escort. He could have wanted to start advertising and asked the client to get the ball rolling when he first started out advertising.

From my conversation with Sean, he confirmed this to be the case.

  11. I’m a little unclear...

    He doesn’t have rates...

He would like to have a 2 hour dinner...

The rate for that is $600...

And I assume the standard disclaimer is that fee is for time spent only.

And maybe the guy in the pics at this moment in time is him and maybe not.

And someone who uses this name is a superb companion but with limits that need to be agreed upon in advance.

He is traveling here and I’ve been tempted to reach out to him but all this is really confusing.

    Exactly! Hey diddle diddle....

Run....run fast. They are coming for us........

  13. I spoke to said person (Lucas), yesterday As soon as I identified myself, he clearly covered the basic legal disclaimer and noted that he did not have rates. He inquired about having a nice dinner and drinks for two hours. He inquired about the location of the restaurant, to which I replied, let's talk in a couple days. The voice certainly was not a country boi. The tariff for two hours of dinner is $600. I had to stop there, until my plans are solidified.

  15. https://rent.men/Stlsean I knew he looked familiar! He just put up some new pics on 8/3 that show a guy who advertised in St Louis last year, I think he advertised on backpage as well as RM...cannot remember the name he was using then but he's got a beard now and seems a little bit bulkier but it's the same fella. Cannot remember if his reviews were good or bad. I did contact him this weekend and he was very pleasant and prompt...may have to take the plunge!
