I had some "discovery" conversations with him as well and he got crazy strange/belligerent. Others have expressed having a great time with him which obviously can certainly be the case, I'm not discounting that, but others have also had similar strange conversations with him and agreed with the assessment that we probably "dodged a bullet".

He seems way more shorter-term transactionally minded versus longer-term strategically minded regarding at least "new clients". I've had a couple conversations with him and truthfully the wavering was on about meeting him one night. To be fair he had said he had wanted to go out with his friends that evening and wasn't 100% sure if we could meet and to let him know once i decided. I then said let's do it, but then didn't hear from him again. But again i have to take a portion of the flakiness but still think its just his short-term approach thinking about the plethora of potential client requests

If he lived in LA and was completely legit provider wise and had even a half way decent personality, I'd go broke.

Yes i have. I did quite a bit of diligence (checking reviews) on him prior and we corresponded a couple times before both sides committed. It was an "ok" time but it really came down to a bit of personality differences. Nothing bad just not great. Both parties honored the encounter absolutely appropriately and professionally so there wasn't a problem there. The person came across country and i wouldn't repeat (especially) under those circumstances of distance, however i wouldn't give the gentlemen a bad review either.

Please note, I don't know for sure. It is based on my recollection. Plus i had looked at the profile before and looked at the immediate multiple reviews that occurred very quickly over a short period of time and for other reasons came to a conclusion chances are person who shows up wouldn't be the person in the Pic's. Again though just my opinion.

This is one reason at least on RMen, that if i could be interested in someone's profile but not ready to meet up due to geography and timing, I always "buddylist" it and check the "buddylist activities" tabs and immediately when a notification comes that the profile has a "new review" i got to it. I have had a few situations where a poor review is submitted and then a few days later it is removed. However in fairness many of them do stay on the profile's site but overall it has help chaff the wheat.

I seem to think there was a broader discussion about him under another thread. Based on my limited conversation with him a couple months ago he was responsive and nice.
