Have seen many times. He does a great massage and a super great guy. "legit" meaning no extras and a massage that good by a sexy masseur doesn't need any in my book. Happy Scheduling.

Thanks to this forum I booked while he was visiting and I am still in disbelief how good he is.
    1) very chatty... but in a fun NYC way
    2) incredibly nice and sharing of his knowledge on body mechanics
    3) It was intensely deep tissue, yet only where you needed it and as soon as he let go... your whole body goes into rest mode
If you get the chance, schedule time. I only had 60 mins available in his working time frame... but I nearly called out of work sick just to have a longer session. He might be my new number one! -xx

Standoffish = Distant and cold in manner; unfriendly. He was polite, yet distant in conversation. When an eastern European person translates into English... the translation is often very direct, clear and to the point. "Put clothes there" instead of "you can put your clothes on the couch". Also, very little eye contact... which is very Russian. Been several times and it does not bother me, because I know it is cultural and not personal.

Second visit, I got him to talk more. He wants to make sure you are happy and comfortable. Hope that helps. -xx

I have never had a problem with European guys: in fact I find them to be more accomodating as I am patient with the language barrier and I always compliment them on their ( usually ) stunning physique.

I'm gonna play the devil's advocate just because I often read in this forum how clients disregard providers who speak broken English:

    1. As @samK said, certain cultures are more "standoffish" when meeting for the first time. It doesn't mean dislike.
    2. More likely they're aware their English is not the best, which makes them shy to talk and have a long fluid conversation with you.
    3. Since their language skills are limited they won't get everything you say quickly, making them appear as "going through the motions".
    4. The provider would certainly profit from English classes but even more from stating on his profile that his English is limited so more clients who don't mind that will approach him instead of those who consider that a long fluid conversation in English must be an inherent part of the service.

Took the plunge and although he has a great body... those photos are either retouched or he softened up during covid lock down - haha. He was really nice, better looking in person and definitely knew how to dig in there when he found a tight spot. Also thinking he is gay. Typical cold and stand offish eastern European personality, but he "tried" to be gracious. Works on a table and I would repeat... my back feels incredible.

Pretty boys may be my downfall. The problem is that so many age badly. It’s necessary to refresh the roster periodically. For me, the ‘sweetspot’ is 23: lean, fit bodies coupled with awareness of the world and some sexual expertise.

The conversations with my straight friends give me serious flashbacks to the weird rationalization conversations with gay friends in the pre-HAART days, with the same kind of odd blind spots. Recently a friend who refuses to eat any restaurant food told me about a party he had at his house. !?!?!

I feel like the "what precaution do you take when out in the world" question is the new "are you neg?". I'm not sure that anyone (masseur or client) will say "I'm a Karen out there fighting the good fight against the greeter at Walmart to the defend my "right" to not wear a mask in a privately own business establishment", but we know that's happening. And people who genuinely think they're doing everything right might still be sick and not know it. People who had COVID before might be able to get it again (the jury is still out on that).

So all those "precautions" are nice to have for peace of mind. But the bottom line is you should only get a massage if you're comfortable taking the risk that you might leave the session with a nasty little virus in your system. I would hope everyone understands that and that nobody'll be surprised if that happens to them despite the "precautions" that an unknowable number of people interacting with your masseur, and he himself, allegedly took.
