At all relevant times, Swinging Richards dancers have not been required to have
any specialized skills, education, training, or knowledge.
I object! 

Actually wasn't any judgement but an IRS audit that showed the club didn't pay over any withheld taxes or pay any employment taxes for years and did not pay any salary under state law. I was surprised they didn't seize the club and property. But it's been several years and Uncle Sam doesn't wait forever. I hope Matt's covered for that issue in FTL as employment taxes are tough and strippers can be complainers.

A few things to mention
The owner of swinging richards owns not only the club  but the building, the parking lot and building next door.  He also has significant legal fees and judgments over lawsuits from dancers related to wages (I.e. they basically had to pay the club to work there through “Tip outs” and were not paid minimum wage. If I’m not mistaken the judgment was for over a million dollars. 
then there is the reality that the property alone is worth millions of dollars (five to ten million) and is in a prime location. When Richards was open 5 nights a week and having good crowds it was bringing in a lot of revenue.  Now it is only open on Thursday nights and does well on Friday nights and is packed on Saturday nights after 11Pm.  The dancers don’t show up until 10pm or later (some wait to midnight). Which is why crowds wait so late to go in.  A third of the dancers never go on stage and wait for the occasional crazy spender in the back.  Many of the dancers bitch about money. They actually don’t do many vip rooms anymore either because the club doubled the “room” fee.  So, a vip room that used to cost $140 for 15 minutes has been $185 for the last two years.  30 minutes went from $265 to $320.  Cocktail drinks are $12.  Cover charge for the club is $20-$25 after 10pm depending on the night and that doesn’t include the cover for the VIP room
 
this is a classic case of entitled straight guys and a straight owner being so greedy they killed the goose 

Dances have been $20 per song since at least 2005 and probably earlier

This is a new Sean. Whether it is worth it is hard to say. On our way home from the city, he was raving about how much he made at Evolve. I told him that if he busted a nut in the car, I’d trade what he made, for what I brought and didn’t spend. He whipped his Dick out and started beating off.  It’s beautiful.  We had a 90 minute drive.  He got rock hard, he leaked a little, but he kept getting distracted by the conversation. We pit stopped about 45 minutes in at a sex club. It was nearly closed but he was hot so they let us in so I could give him a tour. I indulged him with countless escapades I have had in the club and he got super turned on by the glory hole. Just as he stuck his Dick through, they turned the lights on and closed.  That guy was PISSED!!!
 
We went back to my car and he forgot about my offer. We chatted the whole ride home and he didn’t nut. That money is still in my pocket and will be put to good use tomorrow night. Bentley, Ryan and Ace are coming by invitation and I’m very excited to spend time with them, and you!!!

This is a very misleading film about Ste Catherine Street today. When I was there last weekend, it was fairly humming with activity for a Saturday afternoon. The film was obviously shot early in the morning from the way the sun is casting shadows. At 8 or 9 in the morning, it always appears dead. Except for the liquor truck restocking the bars and restaurants. Lol.
And there were very few storefronts that were empty, only couple I noticed.
And the commentary sucked. Why was he going on about Chinatown? Totally irrelevant. In sum, not worth watching

Just returned from my first Montreal trip in 2 years.  It was exhilarating and I'm in a serious post-partum depression.  I hope to post details when I get a chance.
The travel process turned out to be very smooth, if somewhat time consuming.  It's important to follow the Canadian procedures carefully beforehand (see https://travel.gc.ca/travel-covid) -- fully vaccinated, PCR test less than 72-hours before departure, use ArriveCAN (https://arrivecan.cbsa-asfc.cloud-nuage.canada.ca/privacy) to fill out questionnaires and upload documentation.   
Some things to know about ArriveCAN. You cannot complete the form more than 72 hours before departure.  If you work with the web form, you also cannot save what you've done and return to it later.   You can save stuff on the phone app (at least on Android), but that app kept hanging on me.   Leave a good 20-30 minutes to complete the process, which involves entering information about flights, passport, etc.,  explaining your quarantine plan (see below), and uploading documentation.
At the airport.  Because all  documentation is checked at the departure airport (no online boarding pass), leave lots of time...I arrived 2 hours early and waited an hour in line to check in.  (I was on Air Canada, but I'm pretty sure all airlines do the same.)
Arrival in Montreal.  The line to border control stretched from the arrival hall all the way back along the corridor halfway to gate 76,  but it moved very quickly to the top of the stairs.  The hall below was completely full, but I was able to bypass that and use the NEXUS kiosks once I hit the top of the stairs.   NEXUS holders still have to see a border control officer, but there were only 2 people ahead of me in line.  Questioning was what I remember from my pre-NEXUS days (why are you visiting?  do you know anyone here? and the like).  The border control officer examined my passport, typed some stuff into his computer, and put a blue dot on the back of my passport (there were other-colored dots he could have used).   When I handed in my NEXUS receipt at the customs check,  they asked to see my passport, looked at the blue dot, and shunted me to the far left lane,  which gave me direct entry into Canada.  From what I could see,  those with other-colored dots went into a clinic area where they were given a covid test (they do random testing on arriving tourists).  If you fail that test, you are required to quarantine, which is why ArriveCAN has you prepare a quarantine plan.
A friend who arrived a day after me faced much longer delays at the airport because a bunch of planes arrived simultaneously.
If you plan to take the 747 bus into the city, you should know that as of August 23, during the hours when the metro is running, the 747 goes only as far as Lionel-Groulx.
Returning to the US.  You must have a covid test no more than 72 hours before your departure back to the US.   This test can be a rapid antigenic test and is pricy (CAD$150).   I made an appointment before I left home (definitely recommended) with https://elnamedical.com/en/covid/ at their downtown location.  It was quick and efficient.  I had the result in my email in a little more than an hour.  Air Canada allowed me to upload my test result and check in online ahead of time, which made my departure very speedy (less than half an hour total from the time I got to the airport).  
It's quite possible that some of this will change as time goes on.  Towards the end of https://www.companyofmen.org/topic/119965-what-do-we-know-about-when-and-how-montreal-clubs-will-reopen/  there is some discussion of vaccination passports in Quebec, for example.

I started this thread on 6/15/20, just after I had to cancel plans for a visit at the end of that month.  Back then I would never have predicted it would be 14 months before I could return. 
I have my plane reservations, my apartment, and my vaccination certificate all ready.  Still have to nail down the requirements for a covid-test and the "just-in-case" quarantine plan.  You can bet I've been walking around with a big smile on my face for the past 24 hours 😁.

This past Friday, at the New York nude party, 6’4” Ryan Chambers turned his ballcap backwards, fell to his knees and sucked a load out of Patrick that he took on his face right at the bar. Lol!  What’s up man I hope you’re well!  I videoed some stuff that happened in the hotel afterwards yeah, but the guys specifically asked me not to share those.  I’m sorry, but they’ve gotta stay in the personal collection. One other note about Swinging Richards. They have not hired a single new dancer since February 2020.  Several hot guys have gone by the club and asked.  They were told by the manager we aren’t hiring.  
 
Also was told that at 10:30 pm on Friday night they had 10 customers. I’m sure it picked up later.  It is a shadow of its former self
