Im really going to date myself with this reply Marco Rossi Jon Vincent Alec Martinez Marc Dylan Casey Williams Drew Andrews Ricardo Milos Plus 2 or three who did some published nude/JO stuff, but not really porn Joelle Castello Liam ?? & one more, a Paragon Man, name withheld for discretion Edit-update. ********************************************************************* I went back and read through all 25 pages of this post, and so, will add the following. Marco Rossi was great. Sweet, friendly. Probably '94-'95. We hung out a bit before I hired him, had dinner. It was just as he was transitioning from smooth rounded muscles to bigger mass. Tried hiring again in following years. Saw him a few places around SF... seemed tweaked. Made an appointment... he no-showed. Alec Martinez.... was so great when I was visiting Orlando.... only guy I ever called and hired again the very next night. Saw him a third time when we were both in NYC. I noticed many posters add wishes and near misses. Here are mine, thanks mostly to The Campus and the Nobhill Theatres, where I often ignored the house dancer shows and hung out with the other performers and headliner instead. Hal Rockland may be the most astonishing mass of man muscle to sit in my lap. Dont know if he escorted. Peter Latz was fun to hang with, and was never without a smile. I dont know if he was escorting then, I know he was subsequently, but I never followed up. Eric Stone was smoldering hot and genuinely nice. I doubt he escorted. Mike Nichols might have had the first truly huge dick I ever touched. He was brand new at Nobhill the first day I walked in there in 93. So recently hired, he had a polaroid thumbtacked to the performers' picture wall. Was never very friendly at NobHill, so I didnt try to hire when I saw ads. Talvin DeMachio was very nice, we hung out, and I tried multiple times to schedule. He told me he loved being a hooker - his word. Somehow, it never worked out. Ryan Idol behaved very aloof when I saw him at NobHill. But I'll acknowledge that he's the only headliner I ever saw fill every seat in the theater. And Brad Stone, appearing at Campus during Pride, went walking along the parade route wearing nothing but very old thin gym shorts whose elastic had given out completely. The shorts were molded to him, more revealing than if he'd been nude. It was the first year I lived in SF; if its humanly possible, I became gayer that day, when I bumped into him leaving the parade route. I dont know if he escorted... if so, sorry I missed him.

I've become aware of my attitude related to face pics.... perhaps partly because of this post. If his face pics include one or two with a friendly smile, I'm much more interested. I recognize that, in many ways, the process of using ads to identify potential guys, is also a screening process. And screening is, in many ways, filtering out. I'm put off by ads with only hastily taken, often blurry pictures - even with a face picture. I might be mistaken, but I feel that its indicative that he's more likely in it for quick money, thinks its easy money. (and no, I'm not naive.... I know that its about the money in all situations.) I'm put off by ads where all face pics are some attempt at conveying attitude. Scowls, aggression, attempts at intensity that actually look hostile, boredom, etc. I move on, even if I'm inclined to drool over the neck-down. I watched some amateur porn videos recently. Three guys, all getting head. I realized that, while he wasn't the most beautiful, not the most shredded, the guy with a giant grin on his face, genuinely having fun (or a great actor for amateur vids) was more of a turn-on than the others. So, although somewhat off topic.... I'm recognizing that an escort's genuine or projected ability to have fun is important to me, and therefore, the specifics of his face picture matter to me as a potential client.

I'm not advocating for others to require or forgo a face picture. Fact is: these days, I'd probably be deterred by no face picture myself. Last guy I hired had no face pic in his ad. But I found his Instagram... told him I had.... and we had a decent conversation before I agreed to work with him.

My first hires were from text only ads in the backs of newspapers. Some were good, some weren't. As the internet entered every aspect of life, many of my hires had ads with face pics. Some were good, some weren't. Even in the internet age, I hired guys whose ads didnt have face pics Some were good, some weren't. I've read a lot of posts on this forum, from guys with and without face pic avatars. Some were good, some weren't.

Netflix Tales Of The City Series...
LaffingBear replied to LoveNDino's topic in TV and Streaming services
Hoping. A little skeptical,. Loved the first season of Tales. I happened to move to SF Bay the year it first aired - its always felt like part of my orientation. But I was disappointed in the follow-up efforts. Including the casting. Netflix tends to do work with good production efforts... so thats a good sign. Here's hoping. -
Same here. Plus, I saw him as escort, not masseur. I can report hes still funny, smart, in good shape. Posts current pics. We communicate, albeit very little. Some things, like being a nice guy, are probably lifelong. But I'm watching this for massage info/feedback.

It's fascinating that a group of men who, I'd guess identify as liberal, find one way or another to engage in profiling.

I believe you're supposed to refrain fro posting private info. Thats why most guys just write "i found his Instagram"

Ive tried to form an answer here a couple of times, and couldnt. I guess I dont identify with any musical group. The pop rock group Chicago, Van Morrison, Beatles, Beach Boys, Bread define my high school years. In college, I was likely to be listening to Journey, Boston, Kansas.... or, bong-in-hand, Yes, Uriah Heap, Manfred Man, ELO..... I always loved classic rock of The Who I could go on to list many different genres. I enjoy them; I dont identify with any of them. I suppose that the groups that best reflect my personality would be the casts of Broadway Musicals.... how's that for cliché?

Ive never seen drag race. But I detest men who are always in an affected queen-bitch mode. I know guys who are naturally soft-spoken. Lilting. Even sibilant. No problem, when theyre being their natural selves. A little queeny comment at the right time and place can be fun. But men who always adopt a fake higher pitched voice and who use female pronouns for other men, make me cringe. Ohhhhhh Heeeer! Or she said to relate a man's statements. Thats learned and intentional behaviors. I detest it. I know a couple, and one guy literally told the other guy to knock it off with the female pronouns for men. And called him on it every time. The behavior eventually ceased... its not natural anyway.

Ya know, I generally refrain from negative comments or reactions specific to an inquiry regarding a rentguy. I dont see the point in posting "he does nothing for me,""not my type," or even a childish "eeeeeww, I can't believe anyone likes that!" etc. Im going to violate my own standards. I have no interest in hiring or hooking up with guys displaying tattoos depicting guns. I dont care why they got them, what they intended to convey, or their personal politics. I dont care if everything else about them makes my mouth water. Interest-killer for me.

His ad says in San Francisco. Are you in SF, and if yes, is he doing in calls in a nice place?

My elemetary school teachers taught us not to use the same word too often in any writing. They introduced us to the thesaurus. A graduate school instructor once told me I wrote well, but I had a tendency to sound like I swallowed and threw up a thesaurus. As an adult, I make an effort to overcome, or edit, to avoid the excessive communications habit instilled in childhood. Im better with the word-choices. Still, not so much, with the brevity.
