After persistent cheating rumors and breakup buzz, it’s over for Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter. The talk show host is divorcing her husband of nearly 22 years, Williams’ attorney confirmed to Page Six on Thursday. A source told us Williams, who filed in Essex County, NJ, served Hunter with divorce papers at 6:30 a.m. According to court documents, obtained by Page Six, Williams and Hunter are splitting because of “irreconcilable differences.” Williams, who resides in Livingston, NJ, is seeking to establish an “appropriate amount of child support” as well as “other further relief as the Court deems fair and equitable.” “Thank you to everyone for respecting the family’s privacy during this time,” the personal representative for Williams told Page Six in a statement. “Kevin is supportive of Wendy and they are working through this process together.” Earlier this month, Page Six exclusively reported that Williams and Hunter were looking into separating. The split comes amid renewed rumors that Hunter has been cheating on Williams, 54, with a woman named Sharina Hudson, who gave birth to a baby suspected to be Hunter’s last month. The divorce news comes after Williams notably flaunted her lack of a wedding band early Thursday on her hairstylist’s and makeup artist’s social media. Rumors of infidelity have plagued the couple for a few years, though Williams never confirmed them. She vaguely addressed her marital woes on her show earlier this year, cryptically telling viewers after she returned from a two-month hiatus that her wedding ring would always stay on her hand. “I’m still very much in love with my husband,” she said. “Don’t ask me about mine.” Pointing to her wedding ring, Williams added, “It ain’t going anywhere. Not in this lifetime.” However, her ring apparently did go somewhere. On March 25, upon leaving the sober living facility where she has been staying after receiving help for addiction in Florida (though she previously told viewers she was seeking treatment for her Graves’ disease), the morning show host was spotted without her flashy jewelry. She appeared to put it back on to tape her show later that day, but an insider had told us it wasn’t her real ring. Infidelity wasn’t the only rumor to swirl about Williams and Hunter’s marriage. Sources previously told The Post that Hunter’s allegedly abusive behavior ultimately led to the unraveling that prompted Williams to relapse. “She would hide in the bathroom and tell me to knock on the door when he left the office so she wouldn’t have to see him,” an intern from Williams’ former radio show told The Post, adding that it was common for Hunter to pull Williams into a private room and for staff to hear them fighting. “You’d hear slaps or some type of tussling going on,” said the intern. Williams has been open about her past addiction to cocaine and crack. Friends of Williams have publicly expressed concern for her and her poor health as she remained in her seemingly tumultuous marriage, with longtime pal Paul Porter previously telling The Post that divorce was her only hope. Porter, who said he’s talked with Williams a hundred times in the past two years, said Williams’ husband, the executive producer of “The Wendy Williams Show,” is a “control freak” and “a terror.” He said they went to couples counseling, but “for some reason, she can’t break away.” Former friend Charlamagne Tha God expressed concern on his radio show “The Breakfast Club,” saying Hunter was “sucking the life out of” Williams. He also admitted he introduced Hunter to his alleged mistress 10 years ago, but it was solely for business purposes. “Just because I introduce you to someone doesn’t mean 10 years later you need to be in a picture with them showing all your teeth and her throwing up duck lips and a peace sign,” Charlamagne said. Williams and Hunter met at a skating rink in 1994, tied the knot three years later and welcomed their son, 19-year-old Kevin Hunter Jr., in 2000.

Authorities say a woman set fire to her boyfriend’s home several hours after they had a consensual sexual encounter there with another woman. Police in Woodbury, New Jersey, say Tasia Young told them she had been “going through a lot” and was angry her boyfriend had her take a cab home after the encounter while the other woman remained at the home. No injuries were reported in Sunday night’s fire but Young’s boyfriend and six other people who live in nearby apartments were displaced. Authorities say the 33-year-old Woodbury woman came to police headquarters Tuesday and confessed to setting the fire. She is charged with arson, aggravated assault, criminal mischief and endangerment.

I agree, but... A local news anchor was fired on in 2013 after his first-ever words on air turned out to be very inappropriate. As AJ Clemente prepared for his debut on the evening news program for North Dakota’s NBC affiliate KFYR, he uttered some words that he must have dearly wished he could take back. “F—-ing sh-t,” he was heard whispering into his mic as an announcer introduced the show. It was Clemente’s very first moment on air, and also his last. He was first suspended for using profanity and his coanchor, Van Tieu, opened up the 10:00 p.m. news hour with an apology. “We were caught off guard and [Clemente] didn’t realize his microphone was on. And while that was no excuse - we do train our reporters to always assume that any microphone is live at any time - unfortunately we cannot take back what was said. But, we do apologize and hope that you may forgive us and rest assured, that something like this will not happen again.,” she said. Clemente later tweeted an apology as well: Tough day,Thanks for the support,We all make mistakes. Im truly sorry for mine. I'll try my hardest to come back better and learn from this. He also clarified what he said. Before dropping the f-bomb, it sounded as though Clemente said the word “gay.” He tweeted about that report as well: I just want to say that I did not say the word gay, I was trying to pronounce the London Marathon winners name Tsegaye Kebede. On Monday, Clemente tweeted that he had been fired: Unfortunately KFYRTV has decided to let me go. Thank you to them and everyone in ND for the opportunity and everyone for the support.

No... I just thought it was funny that just a couple of days after I posted about dog owner Chris Cimino and added the little bit at the end about him having the same name as a local weatherman, that same weatherman got some notoriety of his own. Just a co-inky-dink that made me chuckle.
-
Morning meteorologist Chris Cimino didn’t realize his mic was still hot when the “Today” show’s Al Roker cut to him for the Big Apple forecast this morning. “It’s just a weird f—ing thing, it’s just strange,” Cimino can be heard saying around 8:17 a.m. “Um, but I think if I didn’t do that, I wouldn’t have allowed myself,” he went on, before his mic was abruptly cut off. Things went silent for the next 20 seconds, and a 10-day forecast graphic was displayed on screen, before suddenly cutting back to Roker and the “Today” roundtable. Stunned viewers called Cimino out on the slip. “Who else was listening today when Chris Cimino dropped an ‘F’ bomb at 8:16!!!! He missed his cue to do the weather but was heard making a non weather related comment,” KimGBrooklyn tweeted around 9 a.m. “Did I imagine it or did Chris Cimino accidentally drop the F bomb? #YourMicisHot,”JDocMartin tweeted about 15 minutes after the slip. “Chris Cimino please remember that you are on the AIR LIVE… ‘ So F$#%& Weird’ is not acceptable when my 6 year is setting next to me watching the news…,” Renny Hurst tweeted. A spokesman for the news channel did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

As celebrity stalkers regularly make headlines, a two-hour "20/20" documentary takes a look at one of the first celebrity stalking cases almost 30 years ago. Rebecca Schaeffer, a promising young actress known for her role on the hit sitcom "My Sister Sam," was preparing to audition for the movie role of a lifetime, a part in "The Godfather Part III," when her longtime stalker, an obsessed fan named Robert John Bardo, trekked across state lines and shot her point blank at the door of her Los Angeles home, killing her. "20/20" looks back at Rebecca's life and budding career, and uncovers the details of Bardo's fixation, exploring the startling truth behind what it's like to have a stalker and how stalking laws have changed in the aftermath of Rebecca's death. "20/20" airs Friday, April 12 (9:00 - 11:00 p.m. EDT), on ABC. "20/20" includes new interviews with actress Pam Dawber, star of "Mork & Mindy" and Rebecca's co-star in "My Sister Sam"; director Brad Silberling***, Rebecca's boyfriend at the time of her death; Benson Schaeffer, Rebecca's father; actress Dyan Cannon, who directed Rebecca in the film "The End of Innocence"; Erika Slezak, former star on the soap opera "One Life to Live," Rebecca's first TV show; and Marcia Clark, former Los Angeles prosecutor who successfully prosecuted Bardo for Rebecca's murder and later became well-known during the O.J. Simpson trial. The documentary also features a new interview with Olympic gold medalist Shawn Johnson, who opens up about what it's like to come face-to-face with a stalker, 10 years after her stalker made headlines when he traveled across the country and broke into a Los Angeles studio lot to find her, with two loaded guns in his car. On July 18, 1989, as Rebecca eagerly prepared to meet with director Francis Ford Coppola and audition for the highly coveted role of Mary Corleone, Bardo was en route to Los Angeles from Tucson, determined to find Rebecca. Using the address he received from a private investigator he had hired, he found himself face-to-face with her at her doorstep. After a brief conversation, Bardo left and Rebecca, who didn't know Bardo was stalking her, continued on with her day. Tragically, when Bardo returned just a few hours later, he shot her in the chest when she answered the door. The news of Rebecca's murder created shockwaves across Hollywood and eventually changed the precautions put in place to protect celebrities from stalkers. Police became aware of Bardo's involvement in the crime when he ran through the streets of Tucson while shouting that he killed Rebecca. When he was apprehended, they found a photo of Rebecca in his pocket. Bardo was convicted of first-degree murder and received life in prison without the possibility of parole. *** Bradley Mitchell Silberling is an American television and film director known for directing feature films such as Casper, City of Angels, Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events and Land of the Lost. He has been married to Amy Brenneman since 1995. He remained close with Rebecca's parents after her death, and they were at his wedding to Amy. Rebecca's death served as the inspiration for Silberling's film Moonlight Mile (2002), a story about the grief of a man whose fiancée was murdered that bore little resemblance to the actual relationship between Schaeffer and Silberling. The film featured a cast of nobodies. Jake Gyllenhaal (pre- BROKEBACK) Dustin Hoffman Susan Sarandon Ellen Pompeo (pre- GREY'S ANATOMY) Holly Hunter
