  1. Is it? Who knows what voodoo you do. Or did you mean that a foul ball fracturing a foot is sort of ridiculous? Because I agree about that.
  2. Chris Sale is becoming the Kevin Kiermaier of pitchers. Already out with a fractured left pinky, he had a bike accident Saturday & fractured his right wrist.
  3. I know this is blasphemous for an ABBA fan to say, but I prefer the cover:
  4. I always preferred Olivia's cover to the original
  5. Matt ' @WilliamM fucked everything up by not using a nickname for me ' Carpenter fouled a ball off his foot, fracturing it. So if you're a former Cardinal in need of podiatric care, you have a place on the Yankees. One of the most fun things about baseball is how utterly bizarre it can be... The Padres won the first game Soto played for them & now have lost 5 straight, the last two by shutout. It's entirely possible that they miss the playoffs (which would be hilarious). At the moment they're the 3rd wildcard, just ahead of Milwaukee.
  6. I've wanted to Mount Anson since 2006, when he starred in one of the few Dick Wolf shows to fail, CONVICTION. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conviction_(2006_TV_series)
  7. But if his name's John Lee (or something very common like that), isn't J Lee more distinctive? Lee was born and grew up in St. Louis. He grew up playing piano and plays professionally. "I started playing classical piano when I was 3. I did that all throughout my youth and in high school. I played at Carnegie Hall when I was 12 or 13." He obtained a bachelor's degree from Indiana University's Jacob's School of Music. He worked at Fuzzy Door Productions as a receptionist where he befriended Seth MacFarlane. "People would come up and just have a conversation with me. And Seth and I became cool because when he would come out of his office or the writers room just to get a break, we would just talk about regular life and laugh." He soon began working for MacFarlane on many of his projects, furthering his acting career. Malloy might be busy shtupping his ex-wife, Commander Kelly Grayson.
  8. Apparently you jinxed Matt 'Oh, why didn't @WilliamM use a nickname or me?' Carpenter. He struck out in his 1st AB, then was pinch-hit for by light-hitting Tim Locastro. He probably strained an oblique swinging and will be out a month the way things are going lately. Rizzo's missed 4 games (& counting) because of his back, the second time that's happened this year. Stanton still isn't back. Yankee fans are going to start clamoring for Benintendi to be traded for Joey Gallo any day now the way he's been 'hitting'. And that bum Harrison Bader STILL doesn't have a hit a week after the trade.

  10. that you know of... jeez, the conceit! Just because none ever hit on you, doesn't mean none were gay. 😁😇😝
  11. Nah, I'll bet it was more like
  12. A factually inaccurate statement. (and bad typing, man) Proof that the statement was factually inaccurate . Earth to @WilliamM, I never said everyone did.
  13. Huh? What does that even mean, and what does it have to do with the death of Mira Sorvino's dad?
  14. But officer... my maple syrup must have fermented!
  15. No jokes about the quality of his briefs?
  16. ME… ME… YOU KNOW WHERE I BE…
  17. Did you know he was a child piano prodigy, playing at age 3? There are videos of him (as an adult) playing piano on youtube. He was working as a receptionist about a decade ago for Seth's production company. Seth would take a break from meetings and go out in the hall, where he would talk to J. A friendship arose, and Seth started giving him roles in his shows.
  18. homeowner Lynne Mishele and her family “very narrowly escaped physical harm” from the crash that “completely burned” their home, according to a fundraiser that showed shocking images of the destruction. “Lynne lost her entire lifetime of possessions” and mementos, said the fundraiser, which had raised just over $17,000 by Sunday afternoon.
  19. Yankee fans who've been paying attention for the past month did.
  20. I have noticed that, for at least a month or so, many of the cheap brands and/or store brands have been out of stock when I've looked to place an order online. Stop & Shop offers 22 varieties of cereal online; 19 of them have been out of stock for weeks. Gas prices have been coming down in the past month; grocery prices haven't seemed to decline at all (from what I've seen), and people's buying habits are clearly still being affected.
