Theres also the Lincoln Hotel in Lincoln Park. Although not on the L system there are 3 or 4 buses that go right by there and through Lakeview where market days is at. Hugs, Greg

Theres a Hampton Inn in Rogers Park that is right by the L. It's only 8 or 9 stops from Lakeview. It's a new property about 2 yrs old and the area is very safe. Any where downtown is fine too. We have the best public transport in the country that rarely has major delays. Hugs, Greg

It depends. When it comes to the day job I prefer morning shifts. That means I'm up at 430am, at work just after 6am, have a bit of breakfast and then clock on at 7am and start getting the store ready for an 8am opening and out at 3pm. On my days off when I dont have anything going on I can easily sleep and lounge till 10 or 11. When I'm on holiday I am up and ready by 8 or 830 for breakfast then out the door to sightsee. Ok so next month I will be in San Diego for a few days for a class. I am getting in the day before the class (10am arrival) and leaving the after the class which is a Sunday (gotta be at airport at 3pm). My class is 9-5 and is just south of downtown. I will be staying about 30 mins south by bus from the class. What might I see and do during my off time? The Sunday i leave a friend and her family are coming down from OC for brunch. I haven't been to SD since I was in 7th or 8th grade. I thought about going to TJ the day I get in but have no clue how to cross the border.
