Fortunately I've been lucky enough to meet quite a few generous gentleman. When I'm with my client, I give 100% 100% of the time, so I guess what I'm trying to say is if the escort is worth it then it's money well-spent and I know it's appreciated,by client and provider.

Dude I highly appreciate you addressing that issue, because it seems like everyone wants to put the blame on the provider when honestly and genuinely I care about my clients and their welfare. I know I'm not alone when I say this. From the escorts point of view, hygiene is necessary & priority. Above all...respect, discretion, and professionalism should be given and demanded by both provider and escort. It's not too often, but there are the rare cases when it is the escort that lives a double life as well.
Ps. I can't stress this enough...Client/Provider safety and comfortability ensure happy and satisfied long-term araingments.

Don't let the Newbie label go to your head I've been escorting for a long time and this is my first time on a forum, but yes this is ultimately about the passing of information to ensure the client gets what they pay for,the provider can feed his family and pay bills. All go home at the end of the day safely and satisfied.

Let's not scare a newbie away. It's very simple: rather than ask for negatives ask for positives.

Here is the discussion about it back in July of 2015, where we discussed not only the "peerage" levels but also how some of us have received 'special' titles:
    https://www.companyofmen.org/threads/what-do-our-titles-here-mean.106228/#post-983579

I hope this answers all your questions, @BigRic but the truth is, I cannot remember exactly where I got the original list of the peerage, however, the thread shows that one of the forum's administrators @deej clarifies the whole thing during the discussion so the list is complete and correct.

    More than fair enough, @Tonyko.

For me, the number of times that it's been clear that "a grain of salt" is in order have been outnumbered by the times it's less clear what's going on. I've seen scenarios here wherein perhaps "a disgruntled client or competing scort" seems to be "mak[ing] up wild accusations" yet they have a decent post count/aren't a newbie. (For instance, that popular guy I mentioned in my last post seems to be on the receiving end of that often here.)

But I also acknowledge that I'm "new-ish" here/you've been on these boards longer than I have. To quote Mr. Ismay, "I leave it to your good offices . . ."

    Now on topic...

To the OP, as some have said, you haven't rattled the hornet's nest... yet. However, except for a few particular escorts, most guys have their cheerleaders and detractors. Throwing out a blanket statement about who I should avoid kinda doesn't benefit you at all. Someone I might dislike, you might favor. You won't know until you meet that guy. Just do your research if someone interests you. If you're not sure give us a name and if anyone knows they'll chime in one way or another and let you know.

Get a room you two... oh wait you already are.

To be fair, the supposed controversies are more about some of his cheerleaders feeling the need to belittle fellow forum members on his behalf (not about the man himself). Everything else is typical forum chatter... where people praise (how great he is physically) or complain (his rates) about things. Every working guy on here has run into that to some degree.

You should encourage him to participate. He doesn't have to write a lot. A thoughtful/positive remark here or there can change a lot of attitudes. As I tell most people who start posting here... some people can be annoying, some are great, but really and truly the only people's opinions you should be concerned about are the ones who know you. Besides most people's bark is far worse than their actual bite.

Yeah, we are a gossipy community. My most personal life details are held back from everyone. I don't go there. I trust no one to keep safe important confidential info, but providers often chat about me and to me minimal personal stuff that could only have been shared with them by another provider (or client from this forum). Doesn't bother me, but yall should consider keeping your important stuff private.

    Oh yes...escorts talk.

Once after a particularly athletic, sweaty, and fun time
with a new hire we were laying in the bed soaking in
the afterglow and he rolled over and said "I heard you
were a great fuck but I didn't expect THAT!".

He quickly realized the slip of his tongue and then clammed
up fast about whom had said what about me. It was flattering
but nonetheless it was an eye opener for me.

Unfortunately, "client" review sites are as follows. Escort I never met but purchased advanced travel for (plane ticket) absconds with said ticket, no calls, no shows, and never speaks to me again. I write a review to warn others. I get blacklisted on these client review sites by this escort for doing so by this escort (twice). Like I would (even try to)hire him a second time after he did that! How can I be a bad client, at least I bought his plane ticket as we agreed upon... oh yeah...how dare I try and warn others that he "stole it" by not bothering to show up. No clue what he did with that ticket. I'm sure any escort who followed that escort's blacklisting of me, dodged a real bullet!

I actually appreciate the information on ones to avoid, so long as the reason is valid. If it's just a matter of a situation where it wasn't a good fit, then take that with a grain of salt, it's the ones who would steal, potentially harm, etc that I like to avoid. Google search is a great resource as I recently read many reports on a profile I saw where escort had been jailed for assault on his ex. Not that people don't make mistakes, but violence is not something I would put up with.

BTW - I am going to Austin in April and am grateful for the advice on Brodie - not that I could afford his rate. Good grief!

I'd sure like to think that something of your bolded variety would be exactly the kind of serious matter that leads to the creation of an already-existing dedicated thread?

Also, forgive me if it's discussed in a site FAQ somewhere but what determines the moniker a member gets, which shows up just below the screen name to the left of our posts and that changes over time ("Baron," "Knight," "Master," etc.)? Is it length of membership, number of posts or something else?

Where I may be going with this is that, if it's a function of how active someone is on the site, the "Newbie" designation might not necessarily be a "giveaway" of anything/an indication that that member should be taken less seriously. (Heck, this whole conversation we're having right now is in response to an OP by a "Novice.") One of the things I mention (read: prattle on at length about) in a 411 thread about me is that I have numerous clients, especially from Adonis Lounge, who don't know about this site or its reviews component. Just because they have no tenure here doesn't mean they could accurately be described as "newbies" as far as experience in hiring goes.

Similarly, "everyone" knows I dig Ryan Steel. Controversies which he says keep him off these discussion pages aside, it's also become clear (to me at least) that another reason he doesn't come on here is because he's so busy putting smiles on clients' faces and earning 5-star review after 5-star review. He's classified as a "Newbie." This particular "Master" looks forward to kneeling before that "Newbie" again soon.

I don't think there's ANYTHING wrong with being warned about scorts on here, and I DON'T mean about a lousy time or if he was high or rude or flaked out and was a no show etc, those do belong in the reviews or PM's. I mean if it involves a scam or theft or violence or danger. Don't we have that obligation to help keep each other safe here??
*Yes I understand from a scorts POV a disgruntled client or competing scort can make up wild accusations, but a "newbie" label is usually the giveaway.

    Of course. I do.

And on the flip flip flip, I recommend escorts to clients when I'm asked about friends/recommendations/duos. That's part of what I'm up to when I talk up another escort on these pages and/or on MSS, especially if it's someone who doesn't advertise (like a Justin Philly or James Denver).

The idea being that paying it forward also reflects positively on me, perhaps generates duo business, enhances my status/raises my profile and helps puts smiles on more client faces (and, yes, more dollars in escort wallets). It's part of good client/business development.

On the flip / flip side, do escorts ever tell other escorts about clients they should welcome? I doubt it, but thought I'd throw it out there.
