Far be it for me to suggest what others do with their money, but fun is more difficult to come by as you get older and if you need to take a small financial hit to have a great time, there are ways of doing both.  In such circumstances I usually ask myself if I am going to die with more money in the bank than the amount I am going to spend.  If the question seems ridiculously easy to answer, I have my answer.  As a result, I have a lot more fun and little less money and a ton more in the way of happy memories.  

I've had the pleasure of being with Chase, and he was amazing!  Wouldn't hesitate to be with him again if the opportunity ever presents itself.

I had such a great time attending my first event this year.  Like Keroscenefire, though, I have a European trip planned for next July, so I'm not sure PS in April is in the cards for me next year.  Will sit down and scrutinize the budget and hopefully can crunch the numbers in a way that will make it feasible.  I'd love to attend again!
 

I had such a good time this last year but not sure if I'll be able to make it this time. My plan is to make a big European trip next spring with a friend of mine. I'm crossing my fingers that it'll be able to happen with COVID uncertainty.
If it doesn't work out, I'll try to get back to Palm Springs. I really enjoyed hanging with all of you gentlemen last year and would love to do the same.

It's bewildering that anyone would engage a guy who includes even a single fake photo in his portfolio. Recognize red flags for what they are. There are more than enough providers out there with no obvious red flags; focus on them, not on those who are deceptive.

Was just wondering if anyone else is mourning the loss of photo aggregation sites like Cocky Latins, Dorm Spunk, We Love Nudes, etc. that all seem to be disappearing. Is this because of some crackdown? It's odd that so many have become defunct in such a short period of time. Seems all I have left anymore are the gay porn blog on WayBig and scrolling through the Twitter feeds of the porn stars I follow. Unless I want to start paying for OF and JF accounts, which I don't.

Thank you for that rule, Epigonos. As someone who attended this past weekend's festivities, I appreciated not having photos and perhaps doing so also gives an incentive for people who missed out to actually come and show up in the future!

I mentioned last weekend that when I read your posts, I can hear your voice in my head. Well, that goes double for this one! ?

Wait a minute. The one thing Epigonos does NOT now have and NEVER will have is a spouse. Epigonos lives alone and doesn't cook breakfast even for himself!!!!!

Nope, it's not mine. I've never worn a navy blue speedo, and I always try to wear something different at each year's pool party. Briefly. ?

I'm going to make an uneducated prediction here. If Oliver decides to host the Palm Springs Weekend again next year I would guess that it would be the weekend of April 9th and 10th. The Weekend would never be planned to coincide with Easter Sunday which in 2022 is April 17h thus that weekend is out. Oliver always departs Palm Springs for the drive home to the Midwest on May 1st and needs time to pack and prepare so it would NOT be held after Easter. Weather also plays a factor so I wouldn't expect to have it held in either February or March -- those months have frequent spells of cool weather not particularly conducive to pool events.
Please keep in mind that I'm guessing here and NOT speaking for Oliver.

Just got home here in NYC after flying the redeye JetBlue flight PSP-JFK. Lucky for me there were only 37 people on the flight so I had my own row and slept the entire way.
I, too, had a great time at the events I attended (Sat eve dinner and Sun afternoon pool party.) Many thanks to Oliver for hosting the Sunday pool party and to Epigonos for catering/cooking! The deviled eggs were pretty good but my favorite was the bacon wrapped dates!!! I really enjoyed meeting everyone I had the opportunity to talk to and given it was my first time in Palm Springs, everyone I met were friendly and welcoming. Thank you. I learned so much from talking to @jawjateck , @Epigonos , @IronMaus , @asianmusclebttm , @Oliver , @David-SF , @keroscenefire , and many others about our hobby, Palm Springs, and of course, the late Guy Fawkes.
BTW, I managed to rent a car from Hertz and glad it didn't run out of rentals (my flight arrived at 9pm so I was a tad bit worried Hertz might run out of cars... even for those who had reservations.) In terms of sightseeing, I only went to the Botanical Gardens and am ok with that.
I hope more East Coasters will come in the future but I also understand more people from the east coast tend to go to the DC event.

We're now living in Palm Springs, so it was nice not having to make the two-hour drive home this morning, but it's still so hard to go back to reality!
