For me, it's passable as long as they mean it. Otherwise it's lazy and insincere. When I want to express my appreciation, I attempt to write complete sentences, explaining what and why.

Not really, one of the reviewers said don't bother and the other said it was "highly enjoyable". Guess which one saw it in a theater? The person you quoted is basically writing to make people feel better that they didn't get to see it on the big screen, but in the process inadvertently revealed how stupid he considers the movie going public to be. There are a lot of reasons to not see it, there is not a lot of character development, it's loud, and has a series of action sequences, so if that's not your cup of tea, best to skip it.

Sometimes it can be due to restrictive contracts that it's not worth renegotiating. Other times, the rights holders can't be identified or located.
 
You can buy 2 out of 3, but as a collector told me, you will never pay more than for something obscure that no one cares about.

I get WaPo (and The Economist, among others). My long term impression of WaPo is they like to be a thorn in the side of whoever is in power, which like it or not, has been conservatives lately. Maybe that's off base these days?

He lists his height as 5'5", which is the minimum on RM, so he may very well be even shorter. Either way it would not be unusual for his head to appear large relative to his body. Skin tone can be impacted by sun exposure. I don't see anything amiss and I will be keeping an eye on him.

I saw it, and I'm going to see it again. It definitely requires you pay attention if you want to have any hope to understand what is going on. If not, you just have to enjoy the action sequences. Almost all the negative reviews I've seen so far take the position that an audience shouldn't have to think.
 
Just to give you an idea how challenging it is to grasp, every single review I've seen (that goes into actual details) has gotten specific things wrong about what happened, even the wikipedia plot summary had incorrect details when I looked. The only thing that has everything right (that I've seen) is a pinned thread over at the Tenet subreddit.

The conversations with my straight friends give me serious flashbacks to the weird rationalization conversations with gay friends in the pre-HAART days, with the same kind of odd blind spots. Recently a friend who refuses to eat any restaurant food told me about a party he had at his house. !?!?!

I've been so disappointed by so many shows, so it's been delightful to watch this one, it's really so good.
