@Derrick Rigg Good luck with your move. I agree with most of the other replies. Reasonable cost is relative and depends on priorities. Do you want a pedestrian neighborhood, does a longer commute bother you, etc. You'll pay less for a place with no A/C or washer/dryer in unit - if that works for you. I've lived Downtown and loved that even though it's a bit pricey. The East Village is in the downtown area but less developed (for now) and you can probably still get a better deal. Greener areas are near Balboa Park - Hillcrest is wonderful if you want the gay scene, and North Park is right next to Hillcrest but edgier and less expensive. Feel free to PM if you want more details.

Agreed. They men need to be held accountable. Deaths like this have been going on since the 1980s and no frat organization is taking permanent changes to address this issue head on.

Board shorts I have either a clip for a key or a small mesh bag to place the car key inside.

I don't wear posers to the beach; material doesn't stand up to salt water. I found that out when living in Miami. The salt makes the material floppy in nature.

Living in Los Angeles and if you have any work related to the entertainment, expect groping, being felt up, asking to strip down, strip off the pants for a blow job, etc. is the reality of a guy's world when you need work. You look the other way.

In the 1990s, I was up for a major TV show and the main star (big) had his wife auditioning the men. I was the last guy of the day.
