  1. Funny (topic), there's one escort who gets rave reviews on here and who is my perfect sex guy in the looks department.  When I get up the nerve, I'm going to contact him and set up the beginning so I can go into his place where he'll be watching TV with only a t-shirt on and he totally ignores me.  Then I'll proceed to have my fun...maybe for 10 or 15 minutes til we move on to other things.

  2. I looked into this system when it came out since there are nights when the SO works late (being a nurse) and I have to have my vino.  I don't remember exactly what I read, but I decided against it.  I just keep a half bottle on the counter and when I open a bottle that I know I won't finish, I pour half into that bottle and recork it.  It also keeps me from drinking more if I start loosening up as the evening goes on and might drink more if it's close at hand.

Correct. I have seen him there twice. BTW it is a very nice facility with spacious massage rooms, each with its own individual shower.

Does the price he list include the spa?  I went to a guy once that I had to pay extra to rent the space.

My doctor told me to space out the shots (flu, covid, RSV) by a week or two each.  Flu, and covid done.  We'll see how the RSV goes.

I did all three at the same time at CVS (they said it was safe to do so) about a month ago.  I will never do that again.  Hit me like a mac truck for about a day or two.  Luckily, the effects wore off pretty fast, but still...never again.

there is a luxurious gay guesthouse in Barrio Alto - The Late Birds.  It’s basically a small gay design hotel.  Exceptionally well done & not typical of gay guesthouses/hotels.  That would be my first choice in Lisbon for sure.

Yes to Late Birds!  Stayed there for our first trip after Covid and the hotel was awesome.  It's very nice and, even though it seems to have wooden floors throughout, I never heard anyone walking around in another room like I have in other hotels.  It's also on a quiet back street which helps with traffic noise.

  6. Here are the treasury rates listed on Fidelity after the employment report came out this morning.  Not sure how they moved since I didn't look at them prior to the report...

    1 month:  5.361%

    3 month:  5.319%

    6 month:  5.16%

For those who live in high tax places like NYC, you'd be saving 10% (about) in taxes on this interest (depending on your tax bracket)...so you'd be keeping an extra 0.52ish % out of those 5+% rates...if I did the math correctly.

I’ve always left a small balance on the one credit card that I use for everything besides my debit card. I’m not sure where I heard this info, but was under the impression that having zero balances on credit cards could affect your credit score? It never made sense to me, but for some reason went along with it. I’m not a financial expert by any means but if I’m believing misinformation, please let me know! 🙏. Otherwise, I have no credit card debt other than less than $1,000 intentional balance.

No, paying off your balance in full will not affect your score.  I've been travel hacking (which partly involves applying for lots of credit cards) for years and I've never heard that.
