  1. On the plus side...at least he's up front about everything. Couldn't imagine booking and then finding all this out upon arrival or once on the table. That being said...no way I'd hire him with that text.
  2. I think that since they want as short a time interval between doses, it makes sense they're starting with those at the longest interval now. Unfortunately, I'm leaving for Europe on Thursday so I doubt I'll get mine until early Oct when I'll be at about 8 weeks.
  3. I don't know how many 2nd doses they have or if it'll roll out faster than the 1st shots, but I imagine that they will come out quicker. If that is the case, then I don't think it'll take as long to get people their 2nd dose...in other words, I think the 10 weeks for a second shot should shorten as they go along, hopefully getting to the 4 weeks that's ideal. How long that would take though, is anyone's guess.
  4. For grins, I got on the site to schedule a second dose (here in NYC) and it says only taking those who had their 1st dose prior to July 3rd. So, if any of you fall under that...go for it.
  5. I don't think you're going to have to wait 10 weeks. I don't know how long, but that is just the first batch since they're the longest. I'm sure as they catch up on the 2nd doses, the time in between is going to come down.
  6. Are they notifying people or do you have to snag an appointment on your own?
  7. Yes, I know, that's why I said we gifted them to each other. But it's a great way to lock in more money at these high rates and the 1 year term for being able to cash them in also runs while they are being held in the gift account.
  8. I've already bought my 2023 bonds last April (actually, SO and I bought them as gifts for each other) so got the 7.xx% rate and it will switch to the current 9.62% Oct 1. We'll send them to our respective accounts in January. When I see what the new rate is announced (should be in October), I'm thinking we'll do the same thing and buy the gift ones that we can deliver in 2024...that way we'll get the 9.62% plus whatever the new (assuming) high rate is on those, too.
  9. Uh, I think the fact that he has one dick pic and the rest butt, Cleint1985's post was him being facetious?
  10. Oh, duh, you're right, I see it now.
  11. I agree, tho I don't know what 'janky' means 🤪 Searching for a provider by name makes you go through the location first, then the option for refining the search shows up where you go to a new page to finally put in the name of the provider. However, you either have to make sure you don't have a location selected or have the location of the provider selected correctly. Having a direct search box on the main page for providers would be so much easier. Secondly, the old version used to have the overall rating of the escort on the main page of their profile. Now, you have to select 'see all reviews' to see the overall average of all the reviews of someone. You could end up with a situation of the last person giving them 5 stars but all the previous giving one star, but you wouldn't know that unless you dig in.
  12. Rainer is back in NYC, and I've seen him once before as a masseur. I was thinking of trying him as an escort but his rentmen ad is expired. I just sent him a message through rentmen in case he gets it, but does anyone have experience hiring him as an escort through rentmasseur? Not sure if that means he is only doing massages for now or just keeping things on the down low. Thanks.
  13. There are videos in his ad that I can't see (I don't have a premium account) but one shows a still pic of a guy sitting on the other guys dick...anyone know which one he is?
  14. Well, he does say 'certified sport massage therapist', though services lists escorting. So, he's trying to straddle both fences, seems like. Pretty piece of meat, though.
  15. We did Madrid for a week then Portugal for four weeks afterwards last year...almost the same exact time you are going to be there (mid Sept to mid Oct). Loved it and the weather was still very warm. Oh, the other day the euro was 99 US cents (tho it's 1 to 1, today).
  16. "No, there haven’t been any monkeypox deaths reported yet in the U.S." - www.verifythis.com Aug. 12, 2022 – "So far, no monkeypox deaths have been reported in the U.S." - WebMD "As of August 4, there have been 26,864 confirmed cases of monkeypox worldwide. Of those, there have been 10 confirmed deaths in Spain, Brazil, India, Ghana, and Nigeria. There are 7,102 monkeypox cases in the US and so far no one has died on American soil from it." - Insider.com No US deaths and 10 worldwide. Those 10 could have had other contributing factors as well...no way to know. Oh, forgot to add. Those 10 are 0.03% mortality rate. Not even CLOSE to 1%. Though, for me that sample size is too small...I don't think a larger size would change the factor by 33x.
  17. Yea, cuz forums like this have all the correct answers. It's 0% from the US gov.
  18. Yea, I use Fidelity and they are rated at the top of rates compared to others.
  19. My Ira/401K's from work are at Fidelity. I've started buying 3 month CD's for that last 6 months or so to keep the cash there semi-liquid to see how rates pan out. I just bought some this week and got 2.4% to 2.5% on them. The ones I bought 3 months ago were at 0.8%, just to show you how rates are doing. It's hard to predict, but when it seems like all this rate hiking is over (or close to it), I'll probably buy some 2 or 3 year CD's to lock in some good rates.

Uh...how does that work? Only suck dick when you have a severe case of dry-mouth? 😆
  21. Hey guys...I just saw this thread and wanted to put my 2 cents in. Seems like there are a few posts where it's not 100% clear on how these bonds work. The rate on your bond does not change at the same time as the purchase interest rate that is set unless you buy exactly the same month that the interest rate changes. (That's clear, right?) What I mean is, the current 9.62% rate is good for bonds purchased until the end of Oct '22, but once you buy the bond, you still get that rate for 6 months. So even if you buy the bond in Oct (the last month to BUY the bond at a 9.62% rate) you'll still get that rate for 6 months. The 6 months on your actual bond may not run at the same time as when the gov changes the rate. I think someone said the rate is set for the first year. Incorrect. It is on a 6 month schedule just like the rate changes. I bought some bonds in Jan '22 at the 7.XX% rate and got that thru Jun '22 and then they reset to the current 9.62% rate (for 6 months). The first year only means you can not sell the bond for the first year...it's locked. If you have a tax refund, you can use that to buy paper i bonds each year up to $5K...so for a total of $15k each year. The paper can ONLY be purchased with tax refund. You can gift I bonds. I've done this to get an extra year of Ibonds for the wife and me and you can do this for as many years as you like, though you'll be locking in that money for an unknown future rate. Here's what I mean...I bought us each the $10K I bonds in January. In April, while the rate was still at the 7%ish rate, I gifted a $10K bond from each of us to the other. That I bond sits in each of our gift account until next year (so Jan '23) at which time we can then send them to each other. While the bond is in the gift account, it IS accruing the interest that it was bought at (so for Apr '22, 7.XX% for 6 months and then the 9.XX% rate.) The time spent in these gift accounts also counts toward the 1 year prohibition of selling the bond (so the bonds we bought in April '22 will be sell-able in Apr '23). If you are gifted an ibond, that does count toward the $10K limit for the year. I only did it since rates are so high, I figured I could lock in another $20K at those rates.
  22. Wonder how he fits that table in a fishbowl? 😁 (wonder how many will get that).
  23. Yea, I actually just found something on the NYC vaccine site saying the same thing. If I can get it tomorrow, it'll put me at 27 days...good enough for me.
  24. Does anyone know if there is any problem getting the second shot less than 28 days after the first? I may have a chance to get the 2nd shot this weekend, but I'd be cutting into the 28 days by a couple. I've been looking online but all I find is recommendations to get them at least 28 days apart.
  25. I was just farting around the site and found this thread. We went to Spain and Portugal and got sims while we where there (and had to switch when we changed countries), but it was great having regular phone service while we were there. Now that I'm about to go to Germany for 3 weeks, T-mobile has 5 gigs of high speed data that I can use on my trip (I think they added it this year), but just in case I might get a sim. Then I saw this e-sim thing you guys are talking about. That would be so great to not have to do the physical sim card thing again. edit: well, bummer. I have an LG phone that's about 5 years old and it doesn't support e-sim. I'll remember this for my next phone.
