  1. Check out... Grindr -Lots of guys here in NYC, maybe a camera emoji in name or a name like “zoom lens” -Usually an Instagram attached with examples That’s been a source for some of my photos
  2. With some regularity, doesn’t bother me (but I try to come prepared)
  3. Kimpton Palomar is a place I’ve enjoyed staying - nice location, reasonable price (HotelsTonight app usually how I book this property)
  4. @Gar1eth https://calcsd.netlify.com/ Soft tape measurer / piece of string and a ruler = we want details !
  5. Most bears are Bottoms?! What!?! Where are you getting this info?
  6. Putting more and more restraints on your biz could result in less and less biz for you, as people can move along to people without those requirements. I don’t think you have a 9-5 job, so I’m curious as to why you are always complaining about being so hung up on answering messages. Isn’t this biz your full time gig? Shouldn’t it make sense that you have to spend time on it, even a good deal that does not eventually fruit? If you ever want to hire a screener of calls/texts, let me know. I’d do it just for the experience of seeing the world through your eyes, no compensation required. Maybe you really DO get a disproportionate share of bullshit
  7. Yes, basically a lifelong history of depression and ten years of adulthood trying several meds and combos In the last year, I’ve been treated two times and will have another in October. Tried it after lots of research and worsening suicidal depression - never used recreationally prior to my medical use (I’m a psychonaut) but I can get why it is abused Basically no side effects, no loss of libido nor difficulty orgasmin’ Expensive and not always easy to find practitioner Happy to discuss over text/PM
  8. Belittling messages and insults = sociopathic behavior ? Mocha’s skin is remarkably thin for this biz
  9. You can go to a barbershop and pay someone’s fee, but it does seem like you’d pay a little extra to have them come to your house, no?
  10. 79.99$ Recurring (autopay) monthly gold vs. 99.99$ one month of gold membership
  11. Within a city, I’ve started to ask for, at least, half of the Lyft-uber/caltrain/travel time (if considerable) - we’re both putting something up, it doesn’t add too much usually to my rate, and it just seems reasonable enough. I include it in my initial rates message.
  12. Looking to get the recurring discount and my credit card is no longer being accepted. Which brand of credit card do you use to pay for an ad?
  13. Pic 2 is not adding value imo, showcase your smile more, have someone take some candid shots of you (find someone on Grindr if you don’t have a friend who takes solid pics) Not much about your ad stands out really - it hits on the standard buzz words, but I don’t feel like it says a lot about who you are / what your personality is like. If you’re in a particularly crowded market (LA), you’ve gotta find a way to stand out from the tons of other ads. I think a little personal interview video could be a good place to start in addition to some candid shots. If you would like some other hints, message me / send me a text, my ad is linked on my profile GL!
  14. Love this show, finishing Season 2 soon
  15. Not a common practice in the m4m world - so infrequent it can easily be avoided by just finding another provider who doesn’t request one
  16. California weight lifting champion ?? (iirc)
  17. Sadly no personal connection... Admiration, as someone who studied neuroscience as my undergrad degree Also a huge crush on him, all the way from his bodybuilding days until the last years of his life
  18. Using an anecdote to shred the science... is not good science I think @PapaTony is a bit off on his percentage number, but his thesis still holds that lifestyle is the major contributor to CvD
  19. know how much water it takes raising beef and pigs? a majority of soy in this country (and also that grown in the Amazon) is grown TO FEED ANIMALS, especially cattle - not only do you require water for growing the feed crops, the animals take tons of water themselves ??‍♂️... Also, you eat fruits and veggies, in addition to your insatiable thirst for animal carcasses so you are - by definition - an omnivore
  20. It sounds like you can just say something like “I appreciate your input, but I’m not looking to change careers at this time” I also don’t think that there is this binary that you’re speaking of where you’ll automatically have to be “an employee” because you’re no longer escorting. Lots of people are their own bosses and don’t have a traditional cog-in-the-wheel type of job I find that the people in my life who know what I do are generally pretty supportive because they’ve seen how unhappy I was in the grind of my original career choice and how much better I am now. If there are friends or clients or otherwise who you tend to vent to a lot about the negatives, it might be natural for them to suggest another path. I get suggestions about leaving the biz from time to time, but it doesn’t really bother me because I know what my life and my peace of mind was like before, and I don’t think it really needs much explaining.
  21. The cholesterol listed on the impossible whopper on the BK website comes from the mayo, which vegans have them leave out. There are no plant sources of cholesterol afaik Meat and dairy are heavily subsidized, which I think is why they cost less - Big Meat / Big Dairy lobbies are strong. thermodynamically, it just doesn’t make sense that eating food we feed to animals could be more expensive than eating the meat from the animals The price of plant-based meat replacements will continue to go down as big meat suppliers like Tyson are getting into the game to cash in on this new trend. I don’t think it is a fad, as young people are faced with the realities of the environmental destruction caused by factory farming. This is a part of the future that I look forward to :-) Beyond > Impossible, imo, but I’m with @FreshFluff in preferring legume / nutty types of burgers - sunflower beet burgers at a raw restaurant near me are top notch
