    Hello again men!

Had to share my latest experience/response from a masseur. Contacted Ron in SF (https://www.masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/1260/) and asked about availability. First response was welcoming saying he’d love to work on me. When I provided my usual disclosure about my size and asking if he’s welcoming of different body types, I received some lame passive aggressive response that he’s nursing a hand injury and it’s difficult for him to work on “bigger guys” right now and has to work lighter than normal until he is fully healed.

Hmm...maybe I like lighter pressure anyway (I don’t but that’s not the point...lol). A hand injury recovery as a masseur that inhibits one’s ability to perform as normal might have been something to disclose up front, not after someone tells you their size. Gotta call BS on that one.

Message received. Pass, and move on. My method worked as usual to filter out these guys and save me the time, trouble, and money.

Is there any masseur in Atlanta worth 250 for 90 minutes? That's asking a lot for "just" massage.

I’m a big fan of these forums. It’s an awesome way for us to share helpful information and points of view with each other. I often find insight and sometimes humor in the posts. I’m grateful for that.

I don’t quite understand the hostility in this thread and I’m glad it’s uncommon.

I think this forum (and our country at large) would benefit from more kind, thoughtful and open opinion sharing.

I always let them know I'm omw or running a little late. Sometimes traffic isn't something you can do much about especially if you you are not familiar with traffic patterns at certain times of the day.

He should not have projected his frustration over the previous client who didn't show up on you. That wasn't your fault. 15 minutes isn't even that long really. I have had small talk after that lasted as long. If he's booked up so tightly that he's running them in with 15 minutes to spare that's his fault for poor time management. Plus some guys like to rest/shower before the next client.

I probably wouldn't repeat unless he was really good or if you reached out and explained to him that you feel shorted and he's apologetic. Since he's had time to calm down some you might be able to recover a better session and discount. If he was not good I'd just not worry about it and find someone else.

I actually had a guy start off with me on my back (which I thought was unusual, until....) pretty quickly it got into almost full on sex (we both got off), but then he finished my front, had me flip over and worked on my back...for the full hour. Interesting way to start a massage!

Let's just call a thing a thing. There's a lot of victim blaming here. All of these same types of comments come up with women say they are raped.

Everyone is not going to react to this situation the same way. As mentioned, some clients just want a quick and cheap escort experience dressed up as 'massage'. However, some just want a massage with sexual elements that don't necessarily include penetration on either side. Another layer to this is many of the 'therapists' really are only offering sex with maybe 10 minutes of massage and with the previously mentioned clients looking for just that, it stands to reason where some of the ambiguity of it all leads to situations like the OP.

If someone had some sort of prior experience that gives them some aversion to anal interactions, I can definitely understand freezing in that moment and not knowing what to do. Maybe some form of PTSD comes up or a flashback could prevent someone from speaking up. We have to understand that not everyone is going to have the same reaction as we would. We're in a vulnerable position in these situations... on our stomachs, naked, head in a rest and not able to really see anything. Some may think that if he's muscular and strong he could make things worse or that they have no power to say "no, stop" or that they didn't want to have the MT upset with them.

The MT didn't have the right to do this. Point blank. The lack of empathy some guys have doesn't even surprise me though.

And yeah, sometimes there's mutual attraction between the MT and the client and one thing leads to another and it's ok. But just like masseurs who don't want you to perform oral on them, clients don't always want to have these 'full service' experiences.

This is about respecting people's boundaries.

Hopefully the OP and others can feel empowered enough from this post to vocalize what they don't want if this happens to them.

No HIV test can detect HIV immediately after infection. ... A nucleic acid test (NAT) can usually tell you if you are infected with HIV 10 to 33 days after an exposure. An antigen/antibody test performed by a laboratory on blood from a vein can usually detect HIV infection 18 to 45 days after an exposure.

The reaction by @rainyday conforms with the position of many who have been sexually assaulted. Did I do something wrong?
I can well understand why he may not want to report the situation but for his psychological well being he needs our support. He didn't do anything wrong. He was taken advantage of.
Hopefully he got tested and all results were negative. Any masseur that would do this is deplorable and should be made to know that others will find out.

Every LA guy on Masseurfinder is either slim and toned (not my thing) or muscular and ripped. Where are the beefy-muscular guys?
I’m repeatedly drawn to the ripped guys in pics because they are like godly ideals but in person these guys are too perfect. When it comes down to it, I’m most turned on by a guy who was fat or would be fat if he didn’t lift weights but still eats bread and so isn’t all cut. I probably have to go to the midwest to find these guys but I’m in L.A. Any help?

Update to my previous post: I took advantage of Alex's $20 off massage special yesterday and made an appointment. I can report a great sensual experience from start to finish!
He does not appear to be part of the others in this complex who seem to come and go frequently. My experience was totally different from @Seriously's!
He does use oil sparingly, has a very good seamless technique.
    I recommend him highly! masseurfinder.com/massage-therapists/34984/

Absolutely agreed. That's why I looked slightly askance at the above comment about treating massage as a hobby vs a job. Of course, clients should always be professional, but some masseurs do this work for the reasons you described (while also maintaining professionalism...in most cases).

One of the guys I see the most said most of his clients are 40+ year olds so it'll probably depend on how in tune to tech they are as far as app payments go. I know with Cash App you can submit a request for the amount so it's all there. However I'd usually confirm price at the booking and then again after service rendered. I'm pretty tech savvy so it's not an issue for me but 9 times out of 10 I use cash unless I just don't have time to get to an atm and be on time. Also some guys will add the surcharge to use the app into your price so there's the convenience tax you'll be paying.

Looking at how some structure their price tiers, I'd be inclined to agree at least for about 40 percent of them. It seems things can get wonky at the price per minute where the rate is actually way cheaper at 2 hrs or noticing higher at 1 hr. However who am I to tell someone what their time and energy should cost? Some guys are worth it for me others are not.

However one guy I use has several gigs and other businesses. I think he doesn't even need to do massage at all for his bills, he just likes to doing it. It's probably just spending money for him and he probably likes touching guys so it's win win. Rather have providers who enjoy it versus guys who don't really like doing this work but want "easy" money.

Payments probably depend on the person and their money culture.

I usually hand them the money neatly folded in hand. Never had anyone count it in front of me. One guy had to special paper weight for the money. Also since some take CCs, they have to present you with the app so you can swipe. Then the guys who use Cash App or PayPal. It can really vary.

Yes the lack of business savvy for some (not all) is stunning at times. But some are quite fastidious when it comes to money and keep really good records and ledgers about who they saw, when, where, and how much they received. Some have told me about their tracking system.

Usually I confirm the rate when I confirm the appointment so that there is no misunderstanding. If the rate is significantly different than what they post on the website then we talk about that. It’s usually no big deal. What makes me crazy are those who upsell in the middle of the massage. I don’t repeat if that happens.
